@Hope... The driver could get fired or disciplined for violating an insurance -driven rule. Leaving the vehicle in traffic while its running, keys inside, while trucks around LA are being looted no less, is definitely a non-no.
I would think twice about showing the video. Just say your driver helped out, they are lucky to have him.

Yes, all he had that he could give and he gave it anyway. May be a small thing to some but for a dog that is on the street, it could be a huge thing, a life saver. Can you imagine how many bottles of water or the equivalent get used by animal rescue groups each year.

I started to cry when that wonderful truck driver stopped to offer Barbie some water...and I legit waved a my computer screen when he went by. I'm going to contact Direct and Beyond and tell them what a wonderful, compassionate person they have employed by them. You're all wonderful!!

I always wonder how those dogs can stand the noise of the cars, living near the freeway, with all of the traffic, day and night 😢, my own dogs would go bananas after five minutes. No wonder, they are totally stressed out.

There's no proof she was just left there. She could have run away from home, got lost, and just made that spot home...
I do too. But until people realize that dogs and cats, too deserve to be watched after just as children do when their parents can't be with them, this dumping of pets will continue. No one would think it okay if parents had to leave their child alone because they are unable to take them with them. People need to firmly be resolved to not let that happen to pets. If you would offer a child a place to stay or help to keep him/her with their parents, you should do no less for someone with a pet.

I don't know what the situation is like in America, but in my country, truck drivers are especially being overworked now due to Covid 19. It's likely the same in the USA. The fact that he might be very overworked, and yet he took a moment of his time to do something so kind... it's so heartwarming, especially with so many crazy things happening now.

Shut up. Apparently you haven't watched any of the other nine million rescues they have posted online. Using the net is called WEIGHING THE BALANCE OF CHOICES. Get hit by traffic or take a chance on her scaling the fence or escaping through some tiny unseen hole in it in exchange for a few minutes of fright is PERFECTLY Fine and necessary. Apparently YOU have never been involved in rescue or you would know this. When a dog is living in the streets they have EXTREME LEVELS OF ADRENALINE and they sort of loose their minds with fear. It can happen to YOUR OWN DOG when YOU are trying to capture them! I had a sensitive little dog dash through a picket in our fence that was accidentally loosened by a neighbor's construction crew. She was safely contained in the neighbor's yard with their very big dog and she was terrified senseless. I had my arm through the fence, calling her with "COOKIE!" which usually breaks through anything else they might be thinking, and she didn't even know I was right there. She was SO frightened & frantic she could not see or hear me. I had to go around the block and go inside their back yard to catch her, and it wasn't easy! But the second she was in my arms she was able to calm her mind and begin moving toward knowing she was safe. If she had been in traffic, I - her trusted, beloved mommy, would noykt have been able to prevent her from getting hit. I would advise you not to post anything against these people. They are nothing less than Saints to their many thousands of followers and donors. AND they remain respectful of people. I had to get out of rescue after 40 years because I was suspicious of and despised human beings - almost ALL of them... And NO ONE got the benefit of the doubt. I became constantly furious and mean and aggressive. It was affecting my health and still does. You know absolutely NOTHING of which you speak. So QUIT.

Bless her amazing heart, patience, and pain tolerance. She's a living, breathing CHEW TOY. She's adorable, talented, skillful, quick thinking and quick acting, charitable, kind, gentle, and never (at least that gets posted) tells Eldad (bless his heart) YOU go take the bite this time! GEEZE! lol- I adore and worship them both, and would feel UTTERLY speechless and unworthy in their presence.

I love to see animals being happy. Makes my day! Every soul should be loved, even if it's an insect. A soul = a soul like our souls of human.

I’m constantly amazed how Eldad can spot the dog he’s looking for at a distance with a million bushes, cars, trash cans and other clutter around.
It’s like his eyes are laser beams.
He says, “I see him! I see him!”, and I’m saying, “Where? Where!”.
And then I'll say "outside" to your question, lol
He has animal dar. It's like radar only farrier.
He may be a highly creative person their brains see patterns and anything that stands out is front and center!

I so love Hope For Paws, I love seeing the transformations from pain, loneliness and fear to joy and love. If we had something analogous to human refugees in this country, we would see humans in pain, loneliness and fear become joyful and amazing U.S. citizens that wouldn't complain about masks and endless silly and pointless fake cries for freedom, but they would contribute to appreciating and supporting and advocating for the true freedoms we have here because just like these precious dogs, refugees really know how bad it can get.
