Yes every full grain leather will patina differently (especially undyed) because they come from different breads and also just like people they all have different skin tones and tan differently. Also a full grain veg tanned cover patinas not just from natural light exposure but also artificial light and touching. 💗
Beautiful color! I would imagine that leather colors differ just as fabric lots and even skin tones differ. Could depend on how much sun the animal was in and what type of hide . Just recently found out a couple of years ago that dogs, especially light colored can sunburn
Very pretty. I was just looking at Sojourner travlers notebook covers because I also like to add extra inserts, but the standard or wide TN only came in trifold. I wish the Travelers company notebook was a little wider, but I love it. I can't explain it.😊
She offers all her TNs in non-trifold options. Some can be ordered in trifold as well but she does then in non-trifold. What leather are you looking for? Maybe I can help you navigate her site. Also know that a wide TN is a different size - it’s for an A5slim or moleskine cahier not for standard TN inserts. ChicSparrow also sells TNs cut wider for more inserts as do quite a few other brands.
I was going to check out the stag with the natural outside and inside pockets, but when I had to select size, the standard size says trifold only. I checked out other leathers with the same results. I have several Chic Sparrow😊 I think the undyed pockets especially the front secretarial one looks good.

And then in the style pick the third option that says Stag TN with Natural Scoop front pocket and natural inside pockets (that’s the style that’s a TN (non-trifold) and has the undyed front and interior pockets). Then select Standard for the size. The standard size says (TN + TN Travel Trifold only) because they don’t offer that size in other styles - like a folio - they just offer it in TN {travelers Notebook} or a TN Travel Trifolio.
