Beautiful cover!! I ordered an VDS cover for my Common Planner, and Petra recommended adding 3mm to the width, given the thickness of the spine. Generally when I order a VDS and want the clear cover to fit, I add 5mm to the height. :) Those customizations of course add cost, but I figure if you're already customizing, might as well get exactly what you want!
I agree. If you are investing this much it should be what you want and perfect and the adjustments for height and stuff aren’t that pricey for a perfect fit you love. I measured my clear cover on my notebook for my height adjustment because different covers have a different lip around the edge and Petra did the adjustment calc from that for a perfect fit. And it is.
I agree! I think one of the only reasons I would be hesitant to add to the size is because I love how compact the planner is. I also think I was so excited and nervous about making the purchase, I kinda jumped the gun and didn't ask questions 😖 I do LOVE it thought 🤗
You may already know this, but As long as your cover has not gone into production, you can email Petra to ask for adjustments. I’ve done that on two covers.
The SI Common Planner is a JIS B6 (Japanese standard paper sizing) whereas Wonderland222 is ISO (international standard paper sizing). They are both true B6 size but from different standard paper sizings. JIS paper sizing in A size paper (like A6, A5) is identical to ISO A size paper sizing. But JIS B size papers are larger than ISO B size papers. Basically Japan has its own paper sizing for B size papers (b7, b6, b5) that’s slightly bigger than the rest of the worlds standard.
Wow yours got to you very fast. Mine took 14 weeks plus shipping. But I love it and am preparing my B6 cover order which will hold my SI Common Planner and my wellness too. That’s a stunning cover. I have JL browns with Undyed inside one and velvet sand inside the other. I love them and they are changing so much which I adore! Mine are a little less brown than yours. But my B6 will be undyed and I’m excited. I love the soft cover of the CP. Because of peoples complaints she changed the cover already in her notebooks and undated planners. It’s so stiff. I much prefer the soft. But as I mentioned in my notebook video it’s the guts that matter so I’ll deal with the cover because I love the insides.
I looked at my order and I actually ordered it at the beginning of November lol! I thought I did it in December. It is so beautiful and worth the wait though. I preordered a few of the gold edge notebooks. I can't wait to get them! I guess that means they will have the new cover? It will be nice to compare, but my softer cover has been doing very well in my VDS.
