Honestly , out of a lot of loadouts , you have one of the most efficient use of space ratio and number/size of tool ratio for your bag out of most plumbing loadouts. Thanks for the blueprint layout of necessary plumbing HAND TOOLS. Ppl dont even know the weight on the daily
As a bath and shower contractor I've stopped subcontracting my plumbing, mainly to simplify scheduling. I have most of the tools in your bag but that inside tube cutter was the bomb! And I'll be running out today to get one,,, thanks for letting us peek into your kit!! Big Thumbs Up
I see people trashing that Husky bag. I had that exact same bag for I believe at least 10 years or so and literally just bought a new one yesterday. It was still in great shape, just extremely dirty. Bought a new Husky bag, quite similar to that one. Cut out the center divider on the old one and carrying my drain stuff in it now. Yes, I'm a plumber.
I lost my toolbag off the back of my truck, PB swiss screwdrivers, knipex pliers wrenches a 12 and 7, cobras same sizes, fluke voltage tester, my miscellaneous faucet tools that you get in the faucet boxes... cost me about a grand to get 80% of my stuff... what honestly hurt the most was losing those cheap plastic faucet wrenches.... the time it takes to get a solid collection of those is no joke lol. Also, heads up on that crimping tool, I've bought two of them and each time they've had the same failure. they eventually just dont want to let go of the crimp ring.
Here in Nebraska we use the shit out that off set wrench on steam radiators /unions in tight places works great. Sometimes when I'm flying around I check out the pawn shops here in Omaha and I'll l find tons of tool bags & some in great shape and when I'm working in the hood my tool bag nicely holds my 357 just in case .. Stay safe friend..
Nice use of the bag, organized and with all the main hand tools required for Plumbing. Whenever I take out my tools from one of my Husky Bags I always turn it upside down over the trash can, give it a rough shake. Then I usually vacuum it out and wipe it down as well. In my tool bags and boxes I also carry nitrile gloves and some absorbent rags.
I really liked you’re video. I’m planning on doing a pre-apprenticeship for plumbing to get that experience then move up from their. I have zero experience so it’s nice to know what hand tools are good for the trade. You should make a video about plumber power tools!
Also liking the cresent CPW12 AUTO BITING SPRING LOADED Jaw, a fellow from EBAYMUD had a version in aluminium, that costs round 100 bucks, but this is a fair compromise, weight, length,
For ferrule ring removal, I couldn't manage to find an easy to use tool in the USA. I had tried a puller tool from Home Depot and that was absolutely horrible. I ended up buying a Rothenberger "olive splitter" from the UK and that works great.
I have that same husky bag. I don't really like it because the zip top really gets in the way which is very very annoying. Husky makes another bag with an open top I will probably be getting that one instead.
Good morning from the Great State of Texas. I would like to get a list of essential plumbing tools for my house. I am a DIY and a lot of stuff I can do myself. What tools do you recommend? I am not going to set bath tubs, but I think I can do just about anything else (i hope anyway) lol. Thank you for this video have a good day and be safe.
I'm a budget DIY and was wondering instead of getting the pipe wrenches if one of them BOA rubber strap wrench would be more than enough to loosen up plumbing pipes and clean-out plug (it's stuck very good).
Judging by the size of your bag, the veto tech pac MTC would work great for you. I have one and absolutely love the organization ability. I don't like the backpacks they sell because I think they look somewhat unprofessional when walking into a customer's house. That's why I went with the MTC. It's more like a sling bag.
4:00 that is a called an offset finish wrench I manly use it on flush valves or Crome finishes so it doesn’t mar the surface. 8:36 that called a basin wrench
You are missing the best tool thats SUPERIOR TOOL BASIN BUDDY UNIVERSAL FAUCET NUT WRENCH MADE IN USA tool this with a 12 inch extension 1/4" and a 4 " socket is fablous for braided hose removal most sink nuts fast easy fairly cheep, i get the crafts man 12" extender a cheepo 4 " ratchet from an auto parts store great
I'm not a plumber, but I know how important and expensive these tools are to a tradesman. I once found a tools box on the road near my house, and wanted to return to the owner. I waited a while for that person to turn around, but he/she never did. If that person had left a business card inside the toolbox, it would have helped. Don't service people leave a calling card inside their toolbox?
Don't plumbers change washers anymore??? Where are the handle pullers? For those stubborn bath faucets and kitchen and lavatory faucets? Or Has the whole world gone with the ceramic cartridge ? Don't get me started on the ceramic cartridges where they cannot be repaired without going to the store or keeping a huge supply of all the different types. Not to mention the cost versus a 10 cent rubber washer!!!
If You have a bag of tools for your work that doesn't have any kind of trash in it more ofter, then you're not actually working. So, absolutely fine by me, in fact, my bags are way dirtier than this very clean bag of yours, hahahahaa

I am a plumber apprentice. I'm slowly getting all my tools. Nice set
As a bath and shower contractor I've stopped subcontracting my plumbing, mainly to simplify scheduling. I have most of the tools in your bag but that inside tube cutter was the bomb! And I'll be running out today to get one,,, thanks for letting us peek into your kit!! Big Thumbs Up
not a pro; but i've used that inside pipe saw for removing broken pvc toilet flanges like 3 times in 2 houses. Definitely a must have.

Nice!
Look up Rothenberger pliers, they're brilliant, you won't be disappointed
My father has ones from the 90s that are a back up...Considering they get used quite often and that a few Unior ones got scraped so far,it says a lot.
they are called knipex, not rothenberger
@@tallswede80 2 different brands geeza
The off set Milwaukee I use a lot for school bathrooms not to leave a scratch on the chrome 🤣
