Honestly , out of a lot of loadouts , you have one of the most efficient use of space ratio and number/size of tool ratio for your bag out of most plumbing loadouts. Thanks for the blueprint layout of necessary plumbing HAND TOOLS. Ppl dont even know the weight on the daily

Good morning from the Great State of Texas. I would like to get a list of essential plumbing tools for my house. I am a DIY and a lot of stuff I can do myself. What tools do you recommend? I see people trashing that Husky bag. I had that exact same bag for I believe at least 10 years or so and literally just bought a new one yesterday. It was still in great shape, just extremely dirty. Bought a new Husky bag, quite similar to that one. Cut out the center divider on the old one and carrying my drain stuff in it now. Yes, I'm a plumber.

I'm a budget DIY and was wondering instead of getting the pipe wrenches if one of them BOA rubber strap wrench would be more than enough to loosen up plumbing pipes and clean-out plug (it's stuck very good).

For ferrule ring removal, I couldn't manage to find an easy to use tool in the USA. I had tried a puller tool from Home Depot and that was absolutely horrible. I ended up buying a Rothenberger "olive splitter" from the UK and that works great.

Nice use of the bag, organized and with all the main hand tools required for Plumbing. Whenever I take out my tools from one of my Husky Bags I always turn it upside down over the trash can, give it a rough shake. Then I usually vacuum it out and wipe it down as well. In my tool bags and boxes I also carry nitrile gloves and some absorbent rags.

Don't plumbers change washers anymore??? Where are the handle pullers? For those stubborn bath faucets and kitchen and lavatory faucets? Or Has the whole world gone with the ceramic cartridge ? Don't get me started on the ceramic cartridges where they cannot be repaired without going to the store or keeping a huge supply of all the different types. Not to mention the cost versus a 10 cent rubber washer!!!

I have that same husky bag. I don't really like it because the zip top really gets in the way which is very very annoying. Husky makes another bag with an open top I will probably be getting that one instead.

Look up Rothenberger pliers, they're brilliant, you won't be disappointed

Here in Nebraska we use the shit out that off set wrench on steam radiators /unions in tight places works great. Sometimes when I'm flying around I check out the pawn shops here in Omaha and I'll l find tons of tool bags & some in great shape and when I'm working in the hood my tool bag nicely holds my 357 just in case .. Stay safe friend..
