Man, I wish Matt's voice could handle all the screaming he was able to do like in shows like Brixton. Still a brilliant band, and still excellent live!
the whole reason matt started playing guitar, was cause he heard enter sandman and then wanted to start a band :) ive done some reaserch on bullet... im kinda an obsessed fan :)
Padge's scream is freakin epic in this song! wish he screamed more.... but eh hes an amazing guitarist along with Matt both r really good love this band
His voice grew so much deeper over the course of a few years and it doesn't sound the same as Matt used to sing when he was younger, but still an amazing singer and band.
woo, their live performance here was awesome! they have been a bit unstable or matt has the last year after the operation, but his throat seems to have healed pretty good:)
Man I miss when these guys had this type of energy at live shows. I’ve seen them twice. Once in 2011 & once in 2019 & they weren’t total opposite performances but the energy & excitement was lacking, especially from Matt. Hopefully they’ll have some new found motivation if they go on tour post pandemic.
After the 06-09 era Bullet was kind of at a low point, around 2010-2014 until Jamie arrived and they dropped the Venom album. Last time they peaked was in 2016-17, after that Matt's old voice was gone once and for all. No more high pitched fry screams and he even struggles with older songs' clean vocals, sounds really harsh and tired. New 2021 album is heavy indeed but unfortunately all songs were written in drop B.. Guess it's not easy to scream for a decade and half
@@zaccorpseman7366 Yeah sometime before scream aim fire came out I think Matt had a surgery on his voice becaue he had damaged it so much from screaming.
@MrMuskal Right now they are far and away my favorite band as well. I can't stop listening to them, I have to listen to Bullet all the time, whether I"m in the car driving to work or at the gym working out. Can't wait to see them live the second time this year (Hollywood Palladium). \m/
Amazingly talented band. I'm struck by what looks like an effortless drummer. I'd fully expect him to be beating the shit out of his drums, but he's seems like he's just being effortless, yet the sound coming out of the other end is very strong. Maybe a drummer on here can explain that, such as is it a lot to do with good equipment and good mics, or technique?
im not a drummer but i come from violin and electric guitar background. while you could certainly play the drums really hard, theres probably a point where the extra effort is kinda wasted energy. like in guitar or violin you shouldnt have to squeeze the life out of the strings or neck and any excess motion in you bow/pick hand is simply unnecessary. again im not a drummer so i truly wouldnt know, but just my 2 cents
I say that it is something to do with his wrist, even if his arms look effortless, his wrists are probably hitting and BOUNCING straight off the skin, thus giving a clear, sharp and hard sound
You don't have to hit the drums hard, do you? He is using his wrists, and not the force from his arms which can make you go faster, he is not effortless at all
Stephanius I'm speaking as a drummer here, when you want a heavy, dead sound, you hit it hard and not bounce the stick off, when you want a sharp sound, you hit hard and let it bounce off immediately. Yes, you do have to git harder and softer, drums have dynamics too you know...
BFMV were Beastly in 2006, Butt both Matt and Jay screwed their vocal cords up or something.. Live in Brixton, Download or buy that DVD... Absolutely AMAZING, Matts screams, Jays screams, Just amazing.. Other performances as well from 2005/06 are Fantastic.
Your Betrayal happened in Room 409. My Heart Burst into Fire because I was Waking the Demon, I have a Hand of Blood as I Scream Aim and Fire, I Spit YouOut. Ten Years Today, Her Voice Resides. My Tears Don't Fall because All These Things I Hate Revolve Around Me. Now it's the End, I have Four Words to Choke Upon and Bittersweet Memories.
OMG This band is so AWESOME! I am not really into Screamo Bands but the passion that they expressed through their music and performance made me really enjoy watching them perform. They are a great role model for new and upcoming bands, to provide an example, as to what it means to be a true die hard rock band. The sound quality was amazing and I plan to buy their album soon. ^_^
Bands evolve, and it is always sad for me when fans can't evolve along with them. As much as my favourite album is The Poison, I still enjoy their new stuff. One of favourite bands is Rammstein, if you look at their stuff they started out insanely hard (for their genre) and then moved through an electronic influenced phase, and then into a much more chill phase, and now they are heavier again.
I know you commented this 5 years ago but still. For me the difference between Bullet and Rammstein is that Rammstein is more like Bring Me The Horizon, Opeth or Gojira in the sense that the constant reinventing is never because theyre afraid of opinions. Each Rammstein album is full of songwriting risks, experiments and other cool stuff. I love Bullet as much as everyone else who was a metal kid in 2008, but looking back on their discography it's very clear to me that ever since The Poison and how spicy that was put them on the map, Matt Tuck worries too much about what people think of him and his band. And that directly influenced his songwriting all the way up to their latest album Gravity.
I guess he just doesn't care about this song anymore after 5 or so years down the road. Cause since 2010 he would always sing the “what you’ve seen” line twice during live shows, and totally missing the “what I’ve done” line.
The bass is loud and makes the whole thing sound so good
Jay was a huge influence to me for both bass playing and backing vocals. So good and great tone
@@chrisoberg6888 I'm trying to get his bass tone. Any tips? I use a SansAmp pedal into a cabinet
Day Bongo power 🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@luka9841 Met Padge and Jay in person, he used the SansAmp
soon as the bass hit i was like ohhh shit
I miss this era of metalcore.
But also the big day out
This is one of the few times that you'll get to see Padge scream.
isnowyazn do you mean few ?
sirelliott619 Yeah.
Indeed
Wish there were more songs with him screaming!
He does alot of backup screams now. And I miss moose.😥
my favorite song on NFS most wanted
hell yeah,,,, thz one and decanence
Blinded In Chains and this
And "One Good Reason" by Celldweller :)
blood and thunder was great also
Shapeshifter the same
that pinch harmonic at 3:00 is solid gold. super impressed. by far one of the tightest metal acts of the 2000s
padge is a goat
Man, I wish Matt's voice could handle all the screaming he was able to do like in shows like Brixton. Still a brilliant band, and still excellent live!
Padge actually screams :D
Throat rapes*
Padge is one the rarest guitarists to ever speak or scream XD
The transition into hand of blood was absolutely genius I don’t think enough people peeped how dope that transition was
i cant imagine how talented matt is, singing while playing harmony 😍
Miss bullet from this time..
That pinch harmonic at 3:00 is fucking golden
I wish I was older during this era, seeing them back then would have been so fucking fire
This is a prime example of a top-notch live performance! :D
just recently discovered this band . I wish I was born to experience this music when it was in its prime :0
the whole reason matt started playing guitar, was cause he heard enter sandman and then wanted to start a band :)
ive done some reaserch on bullet...
im kinda an obsessed fan :)
One of the best live videos ive seen from them. I fucken rock out hard to this shit
these guys have gotta be one of the best sounding live bands ive ever heard.
Padge's scream is freakin epic in this song! wish he screamed more.... but eh hes an amazing guitarist along with Matt both r really good love this band
I wonder if Matt Tuck, Padget, Jay, and Moose ever look at these videos and reminisce the glory days. Bullet was on top of the world 2006-2009.
His voice grew so much deeper over the course of a few years and it doesn't sound the same as Matt used to sing when he was younger, but still an amazing singer and band.
still watching this. loving padges screams
Vengeance University;) A7X foREVer!
That has nothing to do with this lmao
Wait nvm saw it lol
Nothing can replace youth! Bullet is still great today.
that shirt Vengeance University 6661 of Zacky Vengeance ( Guitarist from Avenged Sevenfold) is Sick. i have that same too.
that loud asf metal bass is too good, the mixing is next level
Isso me faz viajar em muitos momentos, mas principalmente quando eu fugia da polícia no NFS
woo, their live performance here was awesome! they have been a bit unstable or matt has the last year after the operation, but his throat seems to have healed pretty good:)
That's excactly what I was looking for !!! a recent video (HQ) of them perfoming live the Hand of Blood !!!

i like the sound of those bongos. those basses kill.

3 of metals best screamers, in 1 band, not fair

yeah!!!!
i love olay this song in my guitar
best song!!!!!!!!!!
i think that if i was in a big time singned band, these festival shows would be the best to play
they should come to nz big day out!!!
wow padge's scream at 1:22 was accualy good....this is why i like him...hes a great guitarist
Nice to see matt with a zacky vengeance tshirt
2:56 **__** Matthew's epic growls...and than the clear voice...
2019 anyone?
3:05 is it that hard for Matt to sing the chorus like that every single time?
I guess he just doesn't care about this song anymore after 5 or so years down the road. Cause since 2010 he would always sing the “what you’ve seen” line twice during live shows, and totally missing the “what I’ve done” line.
woow, i love this dual solo stuff in there :)
