I would raise that even most of the comics dont show this side of him which is such waste, my favorites ones are the bat being a father figure or just showing empathy not the ones where he punchs everyone.
@@justarandomdude.9285 yes the acting is surely part of it, voice acting should not be underestimated(just watch any bad dub over a descent original) but so is directing and writing, animating producing generally.. and the producers on this one had a very clear deep take on batmans psych.

I think WonderBat works because Diana is a demigod, fascinated by a mortal man, who's incredible willpower and smarts make appear him as one as well. In a world of super powers, monsters, aliens and magic, Batman keeps pace with it all and Diana admires and respects that. And even when he mentions that powerful enemies could get to her through him, she brush's it aside by easily breaking a gargoyle. She likes him despite his lack of superpowers, not becaue of her own. Compare that to a ship like Superman X Wonder Woman, where it seems like they fall in love just because they have similar super powers. I also like WonderBat because its the opposite of the typical trope of the strong man protecting the woman, like you might typically see in other famous relationships; for example, Superman and Lois Lane. Here, Wonder Woman is the stronger one with magic powers and super-human martial abilities. And yet, she doesn't look down on Batman, but sees him as special. Someone worth caring for, protecting and getting to know. I suppose to her, all the other magical, super-powered, characters are rather boring compared to Batman. And we may not ever know how Batman truly feels about Wonder Woman, but I think we can infer that he definitely appreciates any attention he gets from her. Which I think is a cool little peek under the mask at Batman's more human soft side, different from the typical, stoic badass we usually know.
Earlier today I stumbled across comments reminding me of this ship and ended up looking into Wonder Woman stories because while I do think it intriguing that Diana would be just... so much healthier on Bruce than literally all of his canonical love interests, I kept wondering what Diana would get out of this given that she usually ends up buried in the discussion while everyone focuses on Batman. I noted quite quickly that Bruce's personality has quite a lot of overlap with Steve Trevor (which is probably what attracts her in the first place) and if transplanted into a Wonder Woman story he'd pretty much immediately snap into Steve's position as the intel dude helping her as mission control or sneakily infiltrating enemy camps and fighting besides her when things go haywire. However, I still ended up unsure what character development she could get out of the relationship beyond having a love interest that intrigues her in terms of traits she admires. I guess the DCEU also added Bruce and Diana bonding over art and history, which is neat, but still ends up aiding Batman much more at being more comfortable being himself as Bruce Wayne, than it helps Diana connect with her roots. Ultimately, it feels very much like Diana doesn't necessarily needs him mostly because she is just that well-adjusted as a person already, while Bruce just... really desperately needs someone with whom he can be himself (as in, being Batman even without the cowl on) and not shy away from opening up to, but for the love of god isn't a flaky or abusive villain or a freaking trainee under his tutelage.
@@dschehutinefer5627 Excellent take! (the following is probably the most I have ever spoken of on a fictional relationship, but here we go~): As for what Bruce could bring to the table, well, I would suggest that Diana is often focused perhaps too much on the large-scale of justice, while Bruce is focused too much on the small-scale (vis-a-vis saving individual lives, in-person, versus implementing societal and socio-economic change on a large scale in Gotham, and beyond, with Wayne Enterprises, etc.). I would posit that he would/could keep her grounded on the individual emotional stakes of events. Though, really, this is an "off-the-cuff" take, and I really do not think it holds much water as it pertains to DCAU "WonderBat", or Prime Continuity as a whole. In all honesty, I myself do not think that it would actually BE a demerit if she were to not actually especially "get anything" out of the relationship, on her end, necessarily. Perhaps one could argue that an actual exploration of "WonderBat" would be unfair to Diana as between her having arguably the highest Emotional Intelligence of the JL compared to, well, Batman; but like you allude to in your second paragraph, it wouldn't be Bruce bringing Diana down, but Diana lifting Bruce up. I do not think that would inherently be unfair to Diana, especially since she still gets, well, Bruce himself, out of the relationship. Their chemistry and emotional-companionship (both in the DCAU and in Prime Continuity) certainly suggest so. DCAU Diana even married the Alt-U 'Justice Lord' Bruce of all versions, and was happily-married for DECADES until his untimely murder, as per the cannon Xfinity comics (both characters and fans got done dirty; we deserve a better sequel to the DCAU and "WonderBat", both, imho. Maybe she'll see him in Elysium after his mortal death, post-Batman Beyond?). Ostensibly, the relationship has been shown to be very successful for both Bruce and Diana. Among the best relationships are bearing one, Communication, two, Mutual Respect, and three; when the other partner brings out the best qualities in oneself-when both are made better and uplifted by the other. WonderBat is certainly that.
He must have SOMEWHAT liked her Couple reasons to believe it too 1. When Wonder Woman stopped a missile from hitting a city, it crashed and Batman was the first to rush in to try and find her amongst the rubble 2. After he sang to have her transformed back into her human form, he didn’t think she’d heard him sing, until she started humming the song he sang as she walked away, which made him smile, and not some excited smile, or even a “How about that” smile, but a smug, kinda “Ayyyy” type of smile 3. When he listed the reasons he and Diana shouldn’t date, none of the reasons so much as implied that he didn’t have feelings, he merely said that dating within the team can cause issues, they’re extremely different people, and he didn’t want to risk his enemies going after her

Let's not forget the line he follows that up with: "What did you always call it, Clark? The never-ending battle." It really displays Superman's influence on him in such a smooth way
RIP Kevin Conroy, our Batman. This just continues to prove why Kevin's Batman and the DCAU as a whole works so much: the warmth. Yes, there were serious moments, plenty of brooding, but it never shied away from empathy and kindness and good-naturedness, which is what makes us love it all so much. The world may be hard, but there is gentleness as well. Kevin always gave us a bit of that and hopefully we can spread it on.
@AndreNitro X1000 Exactly to me, Batman was cool, but the one thing that was absolutely critical for Batman aside from the skills, Cape and cowl and gadgets, was the humanity within him. That was what defined me to Batman. And how Kevin Conroy did that was iconic for me. Which was how I loved Batman as a whole since the animated series
@@AndreNitroX because up until The Batman none of the directors gave a shit about humanity. They just wanted Batman to beat people up and be an edgy hero

Watching Bats and GL talk about women and relationships is the type of little moments that I truly enjoyed about Justice League. Sitting around with friends shooting the ish, makes them feel so real.
As a voice actor, i studied Kevin Conroy back when I was in high school. To some it’s just a deep voice but he knew how to blend the human element of Batman into his performance so perfectly. Nobody will ever do it the same. Seeing him proclaim I am Batman live will forever be a core memory to me. Thank you Kevin. You are one with the night now but always a light in the darkness
Batman and Wonder Woman just work so well together in this show! I loved seeing them on screen together every-time, because they helped improve each other strengths and weaknesses. Before this show the DCAU Batman was becoming depressed and fully devoted to the cause, when he started hanging out with the JL, his friends and Diana really made him more human and happy. As for Diana in this series, she started out as a gun ho rookie that didnt understand the value of humanity, Batman displayed to her that men could be honorable and she became a better hero because of his example. Maybe I read too much into it but this couple is special to me for these reasons.
No you are absolutely correct. Batman like the great Quarterback made all of those around him better. Superman inspired others to be the best versions of themselves. Batman showed them how. Great shows I liked them better than any of the movies.
My favourite ship and my favourite version of the characters. It's just so damn good. RIP Kevin Conroy, he's always been and always will be my favourite Batman
I was always bummed that Diana wasn’t in the Justice League Beyond, when Terry finally meets Superman and the core team. For some reason I remember a reference to her having returned to rule Themyscira. That would’ve been a great theme for an episode. Diana showing up in Gotham, and a flashback about their last time together.
due to legal reasons at the time of batman beyond being created they had to use barda but wanted to use wonder woman which probably isnt the reason she didnt show up on the monitor in batman beyond but the easiest canonical explanation is that batman didnt finish scrolling through women he cared about
In some of the more recent comics for Beyond, it was revealed Wonder Woman decided to move to the Justice Lords Earth and married the Batman there. Without going too deep into spoilers, tragedy happened, and she was basically stuck there until the future when she was finally able to return while Terry is helping out the Justice League.
@@shinkenneth the tie in comics are non canon to the dcau besides batman adventures annual 2 so that could work as an explanation but it also isnt canon so it only works as a possibility
The news of Kevin Conroy's death still hurts. He was the Batman of my childhood and will forever be the best Batman. I'm thankful he continued to voice the role for so many years despite his battle with cancer. May he rest in peace.
R.I.P. Kevin Conroy, no one will ever compare to him. One of the cutest Wonder Bat moments is when Batman is digging in the rubble after Diana is seemingly crushed stopping that missile and when she emerges and notices his hands and he gets embarrassed and hides them behind his cape. I think that might have been the start of this ship.
I always saw Batman beyond as just one outcome of the future, considering that the one time they traveled to the future and saw the same version of Bruce, it’s possible that the main Batman timeline happens differently anyway. So it’s possible that Bruce and Diana do get together at some point in the main timeline of JLU.
(batman beyond is the definitive future) but it is entirely possible that she came back from themyscira after the events of the entire show and epilogue and stayed with bruce for the rest of his life the stuff not in parenthesis is possible but not confirmed by literally anyone ever
i like to headcanon that after bruce passes on from old age he somehow has his soul or gets ressurected in such a way that he is on amazon island with diana cause you cannot tell me that is not possible in this universe and they can be together then
@@shinkennethI’d rather consider it just part of the old series, rather than part of the JLU. It was still crap how his other side just ends up dying, leaving Diana just as alone again. Besides, I’m pretty sure the ‘alternate selves’ verse happened before the time travel episode, so I could be on the nose here.
Man, I was devastated when I found out. His batman - he meant so much to me. He inspired me, he showed me how to turn pain into hope. I'll treasure it all.
Their tight friendship with Superman despite their vast differences Their romantic "for you anything" with Wonderwoman The older brother energy he has towards Flash The thoughtfulness and gentle care he approached and defused Ace with It's tough to write a brooding, stoic character that won't bore everyone But the JL show masterfully depicted him and just as masterfully bounced him off of other characters The profound care and warmth he has in him hits that much harder when it does appear because it's a rare thing.

I remember watching the Justice League Animated Series when I was around 6-7 when it was doing re-runs on Toonami I believe. And for some reason, besides Green Arrow and Black Canary, I genuinely got happy whenever I saw Batman and Wonder Woman together. Just something about their relationship to me always felt right and fitting. Their little banters at times, casual flirting, to just teaming up together was so good in my opinion. Newer generations will never know about this power couple, like legit POWER couple ahaha.
Keving Conroy was an icon, a legend and Batman himself, watching or playing Batman will be hard knowing he has passed, there are multiple Batman versions and adaptations but the one we all grew up and love will forever be Kevin Conroy
You’re a princess from a society of immortal warriors, and “I’m a rich kid with issues lots of issues” that is my all time favorite Kevin Conroy Batman line ever
Ah yes, one of the most iconic aspects of that series, their interactions were sure interesting. Kevin Conroy’s voice works will always be remembered, may he rest well.
One of the great little touches of this show is that whenever Bruce and Diana are together out of costume, Bruce is a lot more flirtatious and confident. Normally Bruce Wayne is the mask, and Batman is his real persona, but with Diana he's able to use the Bruce identity to show his genuine attraction in ways he wouldn't be comfortable doing as Batman.
It's a shame DC refuse to do something with those two. Both Kevin and Susan shipped them. Especially Susan. She even said her condolences on Twitter referencing him and her as wonder woman on how he'd be miss and them as wonderbat. I'm never gonna forgive myself for missing my chance to meet Kevin Conroy just 6 months ago. I thought I had more time. Somebody find me a damn time machine.
Kevin Conroy's passing hit me pretty hard. It was just so sudden and unexpected. Batman: The Animated Series was my first exposure to the character and I've just been so used to hearing Kevin Conroy reprise the role on and off throughout the years. I'm glad that you brought up that gentleness and warmth in his performance. I think that's a huge reason why it's so effective. He captured the gruff Dark Knight voice who strikes fear into criminals, but there was also a layer of kindness and empathy underneath. It's a way to show that even with how cold, distant and serious Batman appears, he still cares about other people. It's why he's able to form relationships with other Justice League members, why his relationship with Superman changes over the years and why the romance between him and Diana starts to form. The flashback scene in Epilogue shows what Batman is, or at least should be as far as I'm concerned. Batman being able to empathize with a girl over their lost childhoods and holding her hand as she dies captures that gentle kindness underneath his own trauma so well. Kevin Conroy sounded like such a sweet person. I've watched a few of his interviews where he talks about the character and the fans and you can feel such warmth coming from his voice. I just hope that he felt love from all of his loved ones and that he knew how much fans loved him. Rest in peace, Kevin Conroy.
For me WonderBat is one of the best ships in fiction, they are just perfect for each other. Coming both from sheltered upbringings and sharing the same type of heart. And also complementing each other by Bruce being worldly and making her more mature and for her to feel more like a woman instead of just the overgrown girl she was before. And Diana making Bruce reconnect with his inner child he thought it was dead with her being innocently confident and noble.
Rest In Peace Kevin Conroy. You will be missed. What a phenomenal actor, and a man. I got to meet him at a convention and he was so nice. I can’t understate how much I and other will miss him. I hope he’s in a better place, and not suffering.
I'm glad we will still have so many wonderful episodes and movies of his portrayal of Batman, he'll always be the voice of Batman to me. Rest in peace Kevin
I always felt like not only was Batman trading vulnerability for Wonder Woman’s freedom, but also trading the ability to strike fear into the two dozen people in the club ever again, because they would see him as a man and not as a myth, like he prefers. He had to be a real person, on the record, in front of others. And that compromises his ability to strike fear, which is his main tool in his mission.
I teared up watching this when it released… I’m tearing up now. The Diana and Bats dynamic was handled so perfectly, and throughout the series they showed us that they meant a lot to each other. I have to agree that no version of the Diana and Bats attraction will ever be as well done as Susan, Kevin, and the JL animators’ portrayal of Bats and Wondie’s relationship.
Love the Wonder Bat Ship Bats is far more interesting and capable Steve Trevor all the things good and bad of man's world rapped up in one Man. And Wonder Women is someone who dismisses the tropes of Batman love interest she's not evil or morality grey and nor and easy target for enemies, she is someone who can put Bruce in his place and put him back together when he falls, wish it was explored in the comics.
One thing I loved so much about Conroy was how none of his Batmen sounded the same, BTAS was different from JLU, Arkham Asylum was different from City and Knight, which was different from Injustice, and so on and so forth. My favorite voice he ever did for Batman was in Arkham Knight, as a matter of fact, that's just simply my favorite version of Batman. Everything from the design to how he is as a character, minus the disrespect towards the Batfam lol. But just the fact that my friend and I can sit down and have a discussion about what version of Conroy's voice was our favorite for The Bat speaks volumes to how talented he was. Enjoy your peace, Conroy, you earned it. You gave millions of kids around the planet, me included, a hero to look up to, so thank you.
Conroy's passing hit me like a ton of bricks. I LOVED Batman the animated series, Justice League and Batman Beyond growing up. He IS Batman and Bruce Wayne to me with how distinct he made the two sound and he truly understood and respected the character in every version he portrayed since then too. Even in less serious contexts he always played the character appropriately to still fit the image of Batman. Finding out he was gay also gave me some comfort as an at the time closeted bisexual it was nice to think of the actor who plays one of my favourite characters from childhood also being someone who had struggled with identity and hiding parts of himself regarding who he was (probably a big factor as to why he was so good at portraying the duality of Batman). Going to miss you Mr Conroy. You are vengeance. You are the night. You are BATMAN!
Batman and Wonder Woman was always my favorite ship for those 2 characters. They just had such great chemistry throughout the show that no live action interpretation of Batman has captured with their respective love interests. Cat Woman, Talia, etc. None of them quite matched the DCAU Batman and Wonder Woman’s dynamic for me. The writing was just top notch and made those 2 characters romance the definitive one for me, even surpassing Batman and Cat Woman. I love this show, I love the Batman animated series, and I love Kevin Conroy. R.I.P.
Even to this day when I read a comic with batman in it, Kevin's voice is the one that I picture. I will always know Kevin as The Batman, and someone who seemed like a genuinely great person
I love this ship because it truly feels like both characters are pushed from their comfort zones towards something positive by the other .And they are comforted by the other . Also , I want good things for both of them , they are great characters .
a complete opposite of each other manage to hangout and be there always of each other, that friendship/ love? (whatever you call it) is what made the show even shines
Kevin was an amazing voice actor I can never see batman without hearing him. A favorite episode of mine of the batman the animated series was the grey ghost where Bruce teams up with the actor of his favorite show as a kid he also was voiced by adam west another batman so hearing both adam and Kevin in the show was amazing.
I’m convinced that after Bruce saw the future, seeing how after his dedication to the crusade crime doesn’t change and just ends with his loneliness so he changes a bit. Takes a while but he eventually opens up to only a few people
there was this attempt in the comics to get them together, and i can't remember if it started in the comics, or in the JLU show. one thing i won't forget is that there was this scene with them sparring - diana using all of her powers and bruce just, you know, punching and throwing toys. the narrator said that the two had different approaches to fighting - batman was a connoisseur, he knew a wide variety of styles and moves, while diana was a specialist - she knew one style really really well. and thats why they could spar and play off each other. they were both warriors, they were both fighters - and they had that connection more than anyone else on the JLA. i always loved that. then after like a year or two of back and forth they basically cut it off in one issue in the dumbest way ever and i was pissed for like a week
words can't possibly describe how UPSET I am knowing I'll never hear Kevin's voice from under the cowl again. I hope he's doing well, wherever he is...
Great video. I think one of the the other reasons Wonderbat works so well is that while most men without super powers would be intimidated by Diana's physical power and general presence, Bruce isn't even phased. He respects her as she is. Ans that's really attractive on screen.
It’s a shame Bruce in the DCAU never settled down. Because that would be what his parents would’ve TRULY wanted for him to be happy. But He never saw that and always thought it was the “promise”.
So many of us were blessed to be able to have our days filled with Kevin Conroy playing Batman and entertaining us even when things were not the best. He genuinely made Batman more than some cold calculating billionaire vigilante. And it's going to be really hard to have anybody else voice Batman at the level that he voiced it. Is Batman entertained generations. There will never be another legend like him.
"Man, for somebody with like, 50 different kinds of vision, you are so BLIND." Little GL is the best. The thing Batman and WW had going for that while was really great (especially in the episode where they were all kids again), and I wish we'd gotten more of it. Batman deserved something good, because Conroy made him worthy. He fought the fights out of survivor's guilt...because he believed he'd failed his parents and didn't deserve love. But we all fell in love with him anyway. Batman deserved better, and so did Kevin.
I was privledged to have attended the panel at Wondercon celebrating Batman's birthday, where Kevin Conroy attended. You could tell how much it meant to him to voice Batman. He was a really special person. Will really miss him. RIP Dark Knight
I still want a comic for this. Petition voice actress Susan to request for this in comics or something hopefully. I STAN THIS SHIP!!! They complete eachother Yin and Yang
The Justice League Infinity comic places this relationship at the center of the resolution, and I absoletely heard the voice actors in my mind as I read it. Definitely elevated the miniseries and made it more emotional for me
That line with John Stewart young to Superman always stuck with me for Bruce and Diana and for Superman being goofy innocent lmao “Man, for a guy with 50 different kinds of visions you are so blind”😂
R.I.P. Kevin Conroy forever the definitive voice of Batman. It too bad we won't be able to see him interact with Susan Eisenbergs's Wonder Women again. In the Batman and Superman Apocalypse animated film Batman and Wonder Women clearly still have chemistry mainly due to the voice actors, and I'm still to egar to see a version where these characters actually get together. Especially since some of their recent iterations have been having them be contentious with each other.
The DCAU is delightful. Eisenberg and Conroy was such an amazing voice couple as Bruce and Diana. Why I love the allusion to it in the DCEU. Wonderbat Forever.
Kevin Conroy is the Batman I grew up with and many other people. He'll always be my favorite Batman and I always wanted his Batman to end up with this version of wonder women at the end of the day. Wonder woman aside Kevin Conroy will go be immortalized as Batman and will never be replaced
This was always one of my favorite ships. Bruce is very outwardly stoic and cold while Diana is outwardly caring and kind which always seems to soften up Batman and bring his true colors out. Bruce is also constantly denying relationships because his enemies will hurt his partners but that problem obviously doesn’t exist with Diana the seemingly immortal warrior goddess. Overall they just balance each other out really well
They say comedy needs dichotomy of either making the surreal mundane or the mundane surreal. I think that's also true for every genre. The reason why this show worked was it humanized essential gods. That's why the mcu movies work and the dcu. There is rarely something mundane to counterbalance the surreal in the dcu.
Just rewatched JL and JLU this past week and I found out the day after I finished JLU again. Conroy was the Batman that I grew up with watching him on JL, JLU, Batman Beyond or even reruns of BTAS. He was always Batman to me. Whenever his Batman would interact with the bat family or even Diana and Clark or the rest of the league you felt this warmth this sense that beneath all the trauma, pain and suffering he still manages to care for everyone one of them. Rest easy Mr. Conroy we will all miss you
The DCAU Batman has something that a lot of modern non-comic versions of Batman lack: Warmth
Agreed despite being a cartoon, this Batman had more humanity and complexity than any of the live action batmen
I started to believe that this is sth that maybe Kevin gave to the character.
Hard agree.
I would raise that even most of the comics dont show this side of him which is such waste, my favorites ones are the bat being a father figure or just showing empathy not the ones where he punchs everyone.

I can't believe it's been over half a year since his passing. It feels like it was just yesterday.

(the following is probably the most I have ever spoken of on a fictional relationship, but here we go~):
As for what Bruce could bring to the table, well, I would suggest that Diana is often focused perhaps too much on the large-scale of justice, while Bruce is focused too much on the small-scale (vis-a-vis saving individual lives, in-person, versus implementing societal and socio-economic change on a large scale in Gotham, and beyond, with Wayne Enterprises, etc.).
He must have SOMEWHAT liked her
Couple reasons to believe it too
1. When Wonder Woman stopped a missile from hitting a city, it crashed and Batman was the first to rush in to try and find her amongst the rubble
2. After he sang to have her transformed back into her human form, he didn’t think she’d heard him sing, until she started humming the song he sang as she walked away, which made him smile, and not some excited smile, or even a “How about that” smile, but a smug, kinda “Ayyyy” type of smile
3. When he listed the reasons he and Diana shouldn’t date, none of the reasons so much as implied that he didn’t have feelings, he merely said that dating within the team can cause issues, they’re extremely different people, and he didn’t want to risk his enemies going after her

I do too… and I need to hear that again tonight.
Kevin Conroy touched the Batman character off-and-on for 30 years, across many types of media. He'll always be the voice of Batman, just as Mark Hamill will always be the voice of the Joker.

That had been conveniently scrubbed from my memory oof.
I'm just here because I'm opposed to Wonder Woman x Superman, specifically it being a thing in canon and not being confined to the Injustice universe.
Everyone needs to stop freaking out about them. That ship is not nearly as bad as y'all think. Diana is literally younger than Barbara in the DCAU

@@Luminara-ki8kq there friendship was so good i miss that

This just continues to prove why Kevin's Batman and the DCAU as a whole works so much: the warmth. Yes, there were serious moments, plenty of brooding, but it never shied away from empathy and kindness and good-naturedness, which is what makes us love it all so much. The world may be hard, but there is gentleness as well. Kevin always gave us a bit of that and hopefully we can spread it on.
Yes it was a show about cartoon superheroes, but dammit it all, there was real humanity in these characters more than most live action portrayal.
@@AndreNitroX Well said
@AndreNitro X1000 Exactly to me, Batman was cool, but the one thing that was absolutely critical for Batman aside from the skills, Cape and cowl and gadgets, was the humanity within him. That was what defined me to Batman. And how Kevin Conroy did that was iconic for me. Which was how I loved Batman as a whole since the animated series

This was a beautiful thought, I think Kevin would've been proud you thought so highly of him
Woah..😢
I felt that last line so deeply. At least he is one with the night now while being a light in the darkness. 🥹
When he nailed that line again in Arkham Knight, I damn near lost my shit
Batman and Wonder Woman just work so well together in this show! I loved seeing them on screen together every-time, because they helped improve each other strengths and weaknesses. Before this show the DCAU Batman was becoming depressed and fully devoted to the cause, when he started hanging out with the JL, his friends and Diana really made him more human and happy. As for Diana in this series, she started out as a gun ho rookie that didnt understand the value of humanity, Batman displayed to her that men could be honorable and she became a better hero because of his example. Maybe I read too much into it but this couple is special to me for these reasons.

I was always bummed that Diana wasn’t in the Justice League Beyond, when Terry finally meets Superman and the core team.
For some reason I remember a reference to her having returned to rule Themyscira. That would’ve been a great theme for an episode. Diana showing up in Gotham, and a flashback about their last time together.
due to legal reasons at the time of batman beyond being created they had to use barda but wanted to use wonder woman
which probably isnt the reason she didnt show up on the monitor in batman beyond but the easiest canonical explanation is that batman didnt finish scrolling through women he cared about
Warner Bros creating their own legal issues with characters they hold all the rights to is simply ridiculous.

(batman beyond is the definitive future) but it is entirely possible that she came back from themyscira after the events of the entire show and epilogue and stayed with bruce for the rest of his life

Their romantic "for you anything" with Wonderwoman
The older brother energy he has towards Flash
The thoughtfulness and gentle care he approached and defused Ace with

The profound care and warmth he has in him hits that much harder when it does appear because it's a rare thing.
He was late 80s and 90s kids Batman, even when he had a lot of actors portraying him on the big screen , animated Batman was still the go to guy. He will be missed forever.
He never played Batman during the '80s. Batman: The Animated Series aired in 1992.

Somebody find me a damn time machine.
why would you miss it?
Rest in peace Kevin Conroy. Your voice will always be what Batman sounds like in my mind.
Another reason the dcau is just so magical. Doesn't matter how many times you watch it never gets old. Definitely gonna miss Kevin.
R.I.P Kevin Conroy. You will always be my favorite Batman.
Rest In Peace, Kevin. You were one of the best heroes that Gotham City could ask for.
Rest easy Kevin Conroy, we will always remember you, one of the best portrayals of Batman of all time..
THE best
A beautifully prepared tribute to Kevin Conroy. You honor his memory.

I’m convinced that after Bruce saw the future, seeing how after his dedication to the crusade crime doesn’t change and just ends with his loneliness so he changes a bit. Takes a while but he eventually opens up to only a few people
since WHEEEN did i watch this video? i came in here like "oh. this gunna be a cool video." *sees my own comment.*
there was this attempt in the comics to get them together, and i can't remember if it started in the comics, or in the JLU show. one thing i won't forget is that there was this scene with them sparring - diana using all of her powers and bruce just, you know, punching and throwing toys. the narrator said that the two had different approaches to fighting - batman was a connoisseur, he knew a wide variety of styles and moves, while diana was a specialist - she knew one style really really well. and thats why they could spar and play off each other. they were both warriors, they were both fighters - and they had that connection more than anyone else on the JLA. i always loved that.
then after like a year or two of back and forth they basically cut it off in one issue in the dumbest way ever and i was pissed for like a week
The infamous JLA issue 90 where Diana sees potential futures with him and decides not to act on it. Still pisses me off to this day.

Great video. I think one of the the other reasons Wonderbat works so well is that while most men without super powers would be intimidated by Diana's physical power and general presence, Bruce isn't even phased. He respects her as she is. Ans that's really attractive on screen.

The thing Batman and WW had going for that while was really great (especially in the episode where they were all kids again), and I wish we'd gotten more of it.

Conroy we will all miss you
Modern Day Batmen: Edgy, Edgier, Edgiest,
Kevin Conroy: Batman
he truly is the darkest knight, rest in peace Kevin Conroy you're the batman somewhere else now.
"Dont let that stop you. Keep digging." Man that scene was so relatable.
