- Installing the drive line in Stubby goes better than expected so naturally we had to take it for a drive.

I new he would get the old truck going again and there would not be a lot of problems proud of your Dad and all the work he has done
Dad did a great job along with your help
Good to hear that Duke is going to be a productive member of society again. I enjoyed watching the progress from start to finish.
Great to see you and your dad enjoying the projects together. Keep it up
I love that Stubby still has the vari-shield on top. So many people take them off. I love them.
It still works too with the elec switch
I'm glad duke is going to go to work but I'm sad to see him go
Dad did a wonderful job on Stubby. I have to admit that I like that clean look on the front of the cab. Kinda like "Less is more" kinda thing. Duke, keep your next owner safe. And happy travels.
That truck looks great congrats to you and yourdad
Nice to see stubby moving again
Awesome seeing Stubby driving! I love that truck! I feel your pain on selling Duke! You did an outstanding job on him. Thanks to you for all you do and your dad too!
Well done Mr Chamberlain, what a master your are.
I am impressed with the work that your dad has done and I am happy that the truck moved
With not a lot of problems
George Whelan from the UK 🇬🇧
Thanks George
Awesome work by your dad Mike!! -Steve from the lower 48 (Texas to be exact)
Stubby looks fantastic, must admit I'm not a big fan of Peterbilt cabovers but I love Stubby! Now let Smokey be your crowning achievement! Big love from Birmingham, England!
The perfect amount of stretch on Stubby 👌 Looks good. Thank you for not lengthening crazy long like other cabover truck channels. 😉
When you got that truck it was the best engine out of all of your trucks, ya dad has made it the best truck you have.
Congrats on your creation of stubby 😊
You an you dad do great work good luck buddy's
Your dad has done an awesome job.

That’s fantastic!! Congratulations Dad, you have done an amazing job.
Glad to see Stubby up and running. Congratulations on selling Duke. Hope you don't end up regretting getting rid of engine parts. Thanks.
Awesome to see stubby moving and driving.
Couple good milestones today. A garage clean-up, and maybe a short break, then hard at it again. Looking good. Take care.
Nice pete
Stubby looks great. Great choice of wheelbase.

Wat to wrestle with the driveshaft Mike, we’re with you through every grunt and grown. Great job on Duke and great to see Stubby rolling! Hats off to you and your dad for persevering through everything.
Well done 'Dad'👍🍻yr wife would of been proud 🥹

Great job pops and u two mike🤪😂😂😂
Duke has turned out really nice. I’m a bit disappointed I was not the buyer of that truck. If I remember right that truck has 300,000 miles. Has a lot of life left in it.
Congratulations to you and your Dad Mike!! She looks very fine!
Good. Morning. Mike. Stuby. Sounds. Good!!!!!? Tell. Your. Dad. Good. Jjob!!
Congratulations on getting your dad's truck back up and running and driving
Congrats guys, what a great transformation. If you get time take a look at RUclips channel Following Truckers. He just found and bought a 1982 359 that had been bought new at Pocono Pete in Pennsylvania for pace truck at the Great America Race Truck Series, and then used over the road until 15 years ago then put in a barn. It had a factory conversion LivLite sleeper/camper that only about 25 were ever built. You'll love it, Bill
Well done Dad 👍👋🇨🇦
Well done guys for getting stubby done , nice to see her going under her own steam
Hopefully you will be able to keep tabs on Duke once he goes back to work..
Great Job You Both!
Sad to see duke go
Great to see you again.
You win first out of the shop mine is still on blocks with no front wheels so I have access to work on the front lights looking good
Awesome Job to your Dad and you on "Stubby" We need to have a Naming contest for it's new name cause it's not stubby anymore. I submit "High and Mighty" it and Low and Slow make a great team.
Great job guys❤
If only money was not a problem... simple wrap of a paint scheme that dad loves or at least cares most about. Paint to me seems like such a waste when its several hundred dollar a gallon.. worry about runs and bugs in the paint... nope, just wrap it up like a hot dog and enjoy it. Ya must have something in the yard that weighs a ton... strap it on the back and give her a good rip down the road. Watching a guy who might of done a few driveshafts in all probability .... I was a mechanic for years and so fighting with a new or good joint just never made sense. Scotch bright at least, never seize and tap it in while its started in the cups.... more to it than that but hey ... got to shorten this comment some how. Your dad is just a couple years older than myself and did some fine work.. he can be very proud of this accomplishment
I think dad the right amount stretch.
Wow big up dad...... someone as to do work in the shop
Stubby looks good 👍 put on some longer fuel tanks? Great video again 👍👍
Duke is the one truck you should of kept. If you are going to tow a trailer to take other trucks to shows, it will be the nicest to drive and the rest of them are always going to be breaking down and needing work. If you ever finish any of them. You will end up regretting that decision.
I know it's sad to send Duke to the new owners, but you do need the extra space for the other trucks, and like you said, "it'll be fine!"
Great job guys getting her running/driving again!! Looks great.
Thanks 👍
I know you hate to sell that 378 but you got something there with that Pete cabover
Stub-plus!!
Nice job guys . Love watching your channel
April 31st? Are the Canadians using a different calendar? Just giving you a hard time Mike. Thanks for the video!😂
Great video Mike but i wish you would sort out Kenny, just a suggestion, perhaps swap cabs with Smokey ?
Great job know full speed a head semi Smokey lol. Tim
Looks great Mike!
Stubby got a chubby! Love that N14, sweet sounding
Awesome 2 see Stubby roll out!! EDIT the 359 is a serious resto project which should make some great content for the channel
How many Lil tree air fresheners do you need??? 🤔 😂😂😂
Enough to make the the dead mouse smell go away lol 😆
Congrats
The idea is to not slip of the back of the truck mike haha
Sorry to see Duke go, but I understand that with so many other projects, it makes sense. With Stubby, Kenny, Smokey, and K2, you will have your hands full of cabover projects. Pro-jects. 😁
Woohoo! Stubby Stretch is moving under his own power! That has got to be the perfect amount of frame stretch. Just long enough with that 90 inch cab to know it's stretched, but not so long as to look goofy.
Too bad to see Duke leaving but really cool to see Stubby back to the land of the living
Nice job on stubby your Dad
has mad skills he rocks but you gotta keep the name stubby so if you look back in the comments I said sell Duke because of the low hours and overall condition and pay off all the credit cards and use the rest of the equity too finish k2 and Smokey and now the 359 but any way I said that way back when you 1st got Duke kudos 😎👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦✝️✝️✝️❤️
Hell ya.
Hi Mike.. love it
Since the Peterbilt cabover has gotten an extended frame, he is no longer regarded as "Stubby."
💯
Watching you struggle with putting them caps on that driveline was painful there's a much easier way than fighting it that hard but I get it you don't do it everyday
All old diesels smoke when cold duh
Hey Mike, don’t you have to takeoff your RUclips stickers on the side of your truck?
Stubby is the New SEXY 😍
Stubby needs trash cans on the stacks or you'll be replacing those elbows, eh?
Hi Mike from west Alabama USA
Hi 👋
@@mikethetrucknut how are I
Start on K2 now Mike
Question I must have been under a rock didn’t know you sold duke you getting a 379
Not at the moment no
@@mikethetrucknut that will be needed money to finish up Smokey you still have Kenny and low and slow to drive if you get the itch to change gears . Now you get to see how good your engine building does in a working truck I bet it out lasts the ones built by professionals
@@jasondudley362 I hope so.... I really want to get the few things Low N Slow needs finished up. Tie up the loose ends so it could be called done.
did the 93 pete have a cat or cummins in it?
Cummins
Stubby needs a name change to "Studdly"
What happened to the 359 peterbilt
Nothing yet, but we are going to tackle the engine soon again we received some good info from an old mechanic that told us some things to do...
If Duke is a girl she should be Dutches.
