Yes answer the call lol well I’m here for ya let me know if you need any specific videos to help along the way. I’m posting my three week update next week as well
Yes you’ll love it… one piece of advice now lol listen when everyone says no products!!! Just water and oils… Ima be uploading a video soon on how horrible the products build up in my locs was and I’m only two months 😭😭 it was so much omg my locs literally looked so fluffy afterwards it’s crazy they were weighed down that whole time
My stylist told me to only oil my scalp and wrap my hair at night. I asked how I should moisturize my hair she said no water at all. I wasn't going to soak my hair in water lol just mist it then seal my hair with oil.
That’s what I been hearing to but i spritz mine 😭 maybe i should stop? But that’s how i moisturize it but also the rose water everyone gets does moisturize on its own so I’ll probably just do that. Cause you not the fist person to say this lol
I just started my loc journey 2 days ago and my hair is about your length. I have 4a/4b hair so hopefully the twist doesn’t unravel 🥺. Also, wishing you a happy beautiful loc journey I am now subscribed to your channel, we are in this together lol!
Hey! Welcome!! I send you alignment on your journey! So I would say i had like two on its own unravel because my texture hair in that section but over all I’m 4c… so i had instant Loc’d them. Then In the back i had to re establish them a few times cause it was so short back there. and then, if i had any other random unraveling it was because my hair had build up in it. Smh now that it’s all out and the 2 locs have been instant Loc’d that wouldn’t stay or re established in the back with two strand i haven’t experienced any unraveling except two locs in the very back they don’t want me to be great lol it’s not as formed as it should be but I’m sure with growth they will be. If you did your locs yourself i suggest getting a Loc crochet needle and stabbing your twist a few times. To help secure them. But sorry to say you’ll definitely probably have some unraveling lol but keep your hair product free and only lightly sprits with water cause at first i was doing to much and that cause hair to come out the twist but no so much unravel. Just sharing what I learned from experience I’ll probably put this in a video lol Hope this helps! And thank you!! I’ll be posting a two month Loc visual next week i appreciate your subscription 😊
Not ptojecting at all, but your hair would benefit more from coil starter locs than 2 strands at this length. I also starterd a set with 2 strands on short hair but combed them out after 4 months to start with coils (eventually combed those out too). I'm 1 week from 2 months with my new set of coils. I wish you the best on your journey!
You’re good I appreciate the comment and healthy dialogue. I am one month and a few days now and they’re holding up pretty well. I tried coils but my hair wasn’t having it lol because it was so short and thick I also didn’t wanna wait for my hair to grow to start them. my hair is growing pretty fast and i don’t plan to Re twist again for another 6 weeks (this video was my last re twist about 2 weeks ish ago) so we’ll see how the twist progress. But I’m not opposed to a take down if need be but I’m intending They’ll flourish the first time lol I appreciate you watching 😊 And send you alignment on your journey as well with your new set.
i started mines May 28th but comb them out July 20 something. I was undecided because it was new to me and could no longer maintain my natural hair. I'm going to do a treatment and possibly clip my ends, but my new loc journey appointment is August 8th. So i'll be re-loced August 8th and what a way to start on the "Lions Gate Portal". super excited to start again after doing a lot of research and knowing the size, parts etc that I'm going for.
Yes! That’s my 6 month anniversary date August 8th that’s amazing i definitely send you alignment on your new journey and i appreciate you watching! I’ll be posting my 6 month update this month 😊
Hey! Welcome! Lol yes i kept my scarfs on for two months girl had it off in the house only to let it breath but two months in I wear It out now! But not daily unfortunately cause my hair ain’t locked so it’s acting like a fro 😭 I’ll be posting my 2month update tomorrow 😊
I was in the beginning yes and i still do cause i don’t have a dryer lmao but i went to the salon for the first time sat under there for like 10 mins fr but I’ll be air drying till they’re longer don’t think it’s necessary for my locs just yet. I’ll actually be posting an update soon 😊
Gratitude!!! I appreciate you watching. They’re very stretchy lol I go to Joanns pick out the fabric i like that’s on sale lol and have them cut it to 15inches when my hair grows I’ll get them wider but that inch works for now. I end up paying bout $4 per scarf
@@TylerAnuranita thanks! Was worried but I have the same type hair as you. 24 thick locs and it’s easier to get flakes out without a cap. Plus most are locked only one dread isn’t

Do you always air dry your locs and is good for your locs to air dry when they are short like this
