Great review. Been dailying mine for about a month now and I love it. If you take care of these things they will keep a smile on your face for sure. Oil changes every 5k don’t push it til it’s all warmed up and make sure you keep up with the maintenance.
Nice little review. I almost got this as a daily driver, but the fuel consumption thru me off. Went with the i4M50 instead. But this car will forever be my fav M. a 2012 mod in Norway cost from 60k and up, so it's very expensive just to buy also.
@@dzionisis I’ve not had it burn oil noticeably with the oil level always stayed at max level.. I used to get some blue smoke on startup, but that was resolved after installing oil catch cans.
So far so good. I did purchase car and then new rod bearings right away 😂. I took off lower oil pan and it looked very clean. Oil pump chain tight. No metal shavings anywhere. So put it back for now. Do have fresh turbos to install soon. DCT hickups rarely and only in the hard shift “3” setting.
@@M5_pedroo I honestly have not taken apart the bottom end / bottom pans. I’m not sure if bearings have been done before me but the lower oil pan looked very clean, oil also looked very clean which I inspected soon as I bought the car. I have a set of new bearings laying around, but I know it’s a huge job.. Not sure on the F90 bolts. I have arp’s purchased.

Did you install the 2014 steering wheel? If so was the install a pain with the new set up?
@@Chaos1-2R i did not install it, but it looks like direct fit! I did have issues with trying to install aftermarket magnetic paddle shifters 🤷🏻♂️
