This is my dream car, and my mums daily. She’s also got a gr yaris as a daily. We all prefer the m5. We got it remapped to 700 brake last week and spins the world round! Best car you can drive under 20k faster although expensive to run it’s well worth it 🥹

I didn't know how much I need a M5 in my life until I watched this. Thought a decent M5 was out of my price range but looks like there's one in my future easy to tune as well few mods 7-800 easy. Cheers Calvin 👊👊

I had an F10 M5 on a 63 from new (Silverstone/Sakhir red) and it was absolutely brilliant over 3 years and 36,000 miles with no issues whatsoever. I then had an X5 M50D…quickly move on.. then an F90 M5 which I’ve had since new on a 19 plate. 29,000 miles on and the F90 is the best DD you can have. For this money the F10 is better value and what a great car. M5 every day 👍

@@edmondshoshivari275 I own a exhibition design and build company 👍 To add some more detail my F90 has now gone and I drive a Taycan 4S Cross Turismo - that’s a brilliant car, probably the best EV you can buy.

Does the f10 have same rod bearing failure as the e60?
@@diegocanecorso7665 I'm unsure if the S63 is as bad as the S85 or S65 or even the S55.. When you think actually think about it they fucked up with the S series.

I have this car, in this colour, I have had mine for the last 4 years, its a bullet proof moto, absolutely incredible reliability, however all the gas stations will know you by name, my little advise is that, if you really want to feel like a real boss owning this, get another cheaper little car and you will enjoy ownership of this beast..

A lot of car for the money, but like others have said it’s affordable to buy but it’s the running/ servicing costs that kills you!

Very nice….. but is no E60 M5 ;-) What’s not to love about the sound of a 5ltr V10, the likes of which will never be put in a family saloon again. 🤣. You’ll see it at the show Calvin 👍

What happened to the blue cat S one you had that was at VRS for an engine rebuild?
Ive had mine for a year and I love it but tbh it could do with being a bit more rowdy out of the box, the exhaust combined with the soft limiter really detracts from the M experience. Would be nicer if it were more similar to the M4/M3

2 years ownership nearly on mine and I completely agree, the difference between exhaust valves open and closed is no where near enough. Great car though and I do love mine 🥰
Mines had resonator delete and back box mod and sounds like it should from the factory
You can buy alot of cars for 20k audi rs3 rs5,rs6,ttrs merc a45 ,c63 , porsche 911, cayman ,bmw m3 m4 ,nissan skyline, nissan silvia, nissan 370z nismo,Bentley continental gt ,Ford mustang , focus rs bmw 235i 140i ,vw golf r32 ,R the list just keeps going budget does play a big part in buying a car but also what's it purpose? Daily, school run, weekend slayer or occasional track use 🤔 now you have to chuck in fuel consumption in to make you consider even further?

Love these cars but hear so much about the V8 blowing up due to heat from the in-line turbos 🤷🏻♂️

What happened to thr SHED blue m5 gone? No update at all....
A remaped 535d with a Quaffe LSD is also very fast and long tank range.
I reckon you couldve smashed the draggy time if you had PS4s's on. Pilot Super Sports are not the best for grip.

I had one mine was stage 2 was really quick but I was too worried about things going wrong like bent rods rod bearings injectors etc plus the running costs were horrendous BMW quote they get 28mpg or something but if you drive it like an M5 you’ll be lucky to see 15mpg mine averaged around 13mpg around the door and around 22ish on a run

Awesome car but still the maintenance/repair costs could pile up I bet
Killer " SoCal" spec.
Slap a warranty on it and run it as a " special car" for 2 years ,get it off your bucket list and (assuming it doesn't blow up and the warranty doesn't cover it) sell it on for £19'000 🤔

The only problems with them are roads and my engine failed…but if you fix it makes an good car
Make sure you replace those rod bearings before it starts knocking. It’s too late once the knock starts. Do not use OEM bearings.

The 2011 528 has a straight 6 3L(Post 2011 all junk 4 cyl in 528i) engine and last forever.
Hahahaaaaaa of course RUclips is already recommending me f10 content. I just picked up a ‘15 535i M Sport for 16,900 with 45,000 miles. Absolutely loving it, so much car for the $. Unmolested, I’m bouta turn this thing into a sleeper
damn bro that’s a steal, i’m tryin to decide between a 15’ 335i for $16 with 95k or a 13’ M5 for $23 with 87k

Drive it for a year and sell it for more money then you bought it for.
Nice motors those f10 m5's. I was recently cross shopping them with the Jaguar Xfr, bmw m4 and c63 6.2. Ended up getting the c63 just because of the noise!
Not to mention C63 being half the price BMW is definitely better in every way though
@@LAFFRS depends on what year the early ones with the slower gearbox are pretty cheap now but the facelift particularly 507 are more expensive than the f10 m5's
I am a little biased 🤣 but these are the best all rounder out there wouldn’t change mine for anything 👀👀(maybe an f90) lol

CHECK THE ROD BEARINGS!!!!! They are what causes that god awful rattling noise.

The reason the f90 is a handful is because all the controls are turned off when in rwd
Great car for 20K but i think you would be better off spending around 30K in getting a lower mileage and unmodified example.

@@swift2117 not true. And it depends on which motor, s63tu has a good reputation with owners
engine rebuild cost 10k , know 3 others including myself have seize their engine. If you drive the car hard like a M car is suppose to then be prepare to do a full rebuild sooner or later.
