Great job Chris!! This is the perfect first car for someone just starting out. It is nice looking and the price is right. A lot of standard options that are not always included in the competitors. Also with its excellent gas mileage, great commuter car. Love the beard......You need a Santa hat. :)
This Nissan Versa is a big improvement over the last generation of Versas. Also, while the MSRP is around $20,000, with manufacturer rebates and dealer discounts, the sale price before taxes and fees is more like $16,000 so it's still a great deal.
A bit late. I’m looking to purchase a new car, I’ve been looking at the Versa as it’s cheap and I don’t want to spend a gazillion dollars on a car. I’ve heard that Nissans CVTS are notorious for being unreliable; does this hold true with the newer Versas?
Great car for the price, good looks and features, the seats color is ugly i think. A good point is the screen integrated in the dash. Good video Chris👍
One thing you didn't mention- are you able to get comfortable in the driver's seat in this car? I realize it is bigger than previous Versas but it's still a sub-compact, right? You appear to be tall. I'm about 6' 1" and I was wondering if it would feel cramped. Thanks for a great video.
I gotta 2021 same color is this one... I was looking for a cheapest new car .. it's been great so far gas mpg is 👍I recommend this car if you want a great gas saver and good price ...
in my city they are selling one from a rental place a 2021 versa sv with 65000 miles for 14,500 wondering if that is worth it i think you get a one year powertrain warrenty
I wish it had the arm rest that was a bummer for me but I still got it because the tech in this car equals that of higher end cars and it looks good. The only thing I don't agree with is that part about young drivers buying these cars but not a college student nor is this my first car. It's economical and did I say it looks sleek. Good car for zipping around the city and the gas mileage gets me to those far away places.
I’m sad. I had one of these as a rental and I found out the seats are DIFFERENT in the 2021s than even the 19s or 20s. Do you know specifically what kind of changes they made because I can’t seem to pinpoint it.
In Thailand this car is marketed under the name Almera. The top trim level VL comes with lots of technology e.g. LED headlights and fog lights, Around View Monitor, Blind Spot Warning, 8-inch touchscreen, 1.0L turbo engine with 100HP, etc. It’s a car worth the money. 👍🏾🚗
Great looking car. I love mines but I had to decorate the interior by adding new seat covers and carbon fiber looking trim and etc to liven up the interior. I do plan on painting the tan dash black
UGH. The white trim is not very appealing. Glad they didn't have that on my 2020. Probably would have been a deal breaker. However that would have tipped me over to buying the Leaf S with the quick charge package.
I like the up to date, but restrained styling.....too many makes styling looks like something that would not be out of place in a Star Wars movie.....kaff, Honda, Toyota...kaff......I agree, however, the two tone interior on the Versa has to go.....:)

It's nice for the price. I do agree with you that white isn't a good color for an interior. Keeping that clean is a challenge.
your absolutely right I didn't even mention the fact that once it gets dirty it would be a nightmare to keep clean
I wonder what they was thinking when they made it white
@@Aoendkth-nv7au They weren't thinking.
Those cars are selling pretty good. People need something reliable and affordable at the same time.
yes I hope so

thanks for your input what are the manufacturers discounts in your area
@@carsunlocked $500 cash back in my area for the 2021 Versa.
wow thats great here there is no discount only $500 for current Nissan owners

That’s a great price, this and the Sentra are blowing it out the water this year.

you can add an arm rest as an accessory if you think you want it!
@@carsunlocked I did find that out what I did get was the spoiler for it as well so I'm going to get armrest I need that.
I had my heart set on a Honda Civic, but i had to settle for a 2022 Versa.
I'm not unhappy.
and whys that
@@carsunlocked Because my Versa is awesome! Oddly, i bought the only one i saw nationwide that came with official Nissan window rain guards. 🤷♂

well the colour of the fabric is different i know that but in terms of the comfort its hard for me to pin point which one is better
Nissan always provide a good quality vehicle. Driven many and like them very much as they feel solid and are easy and inexpensive to maintain.
thanks so much for sharing glad u feel that way
Would this be good for a 500 mile road trip from time to time
yea it would I would say for a maximum of 4 people
Yes i have a 2021 nissan versa and i've gone on 2 350 ish mile roadtrips. And its comfy and reliable

wow thanks for commenting . a 1 L turbo engine I would love to try that out and see how it drives?
@@carsunlocked In my opinion it is not bad (for non-fast driver). Acceleration from 0-100 km/h is 12.8 sec. I have been driving it since Feb 2020.
Dose the sv edition come with the fog lights
great choice

thats smart I would love to see the car
I ordered a center console for mine.
Glad they still have the trunk release button under the back Nissan emblem on my 2020. 🙂
super convenient
@@carsunlocked 😉
Hey you should do a review on Nissan juke
they dont make them anymore
Right its about 21.5 K OTD for me at the dealership I went, used with 20K+ miles
thanks for comenting

yea the white might be grey or brown after 4-5 years of use
@@carsunlocked That would be a better color. 🙂
That white is absolutely hideous
Good looking car would fit in the budget.
thanks for the comment glad you like it!
I have one with the 5 speed bought it with 10k miles on it. It’s zippy with the manual. I’d stay clear if the cvt transmission
Thanks for the info!
These cars just keep getting bigger and bigger...
that's a fair statement. with no Micra this is the smallest car I can offer

I could do without the white accents throughout the interior for sure
My high beams don't work
thanks for watching!
Fog lights???
not on the versa
has Nissan mentioned why they don't have a latch release button for the trunk? I have never seen something so idiotic in a car.
because they r lazy bones
@@carsunlocked LMAO
Nissan, please get rid of the white seat inserts and white dash.
I feel the same way
