This was a good suggestion of one of my subscribers. All of the sonic and aesthetic renditions of this song were kinda underwhelming and inconsistant for me (looking at you Composerily) so I decided it was a good idea to make one of my own. For me, Minecraft was such a simple yet amazing experience and its main theme deserved a cool mix.)

Had a friend I played the game with. They liked the original Sweden song soo much they made a audio pack. One day after debris mining, they had to go to skating. For a year I was trying to reach them without response. Found out they choked on food and died in a coma. Enjoy your days

Why does this sound so nostalgic even though this is a remix from last year? There's something very nostalgic in this remix that makes me feel like Minecraft was made back in the old 80s with the very low graphic games which were amazing.

Starbound litterally has a huge universe and alot of things to do in it. Don't wanna start an argument, but for me, all 3 games are nostalgic.
All three games are nostaligic for me, and yes, they do have different gameplay. They are original, but I kind of run out of things to do in Starbound (hense, mods.)

I found this by accident. I just want to say it's amazing. For those who have lived the 80s, it's pieces like this that somehow make you recall it. It's not just nostalgia. It's like memory long forgotten, coming back to you. The only other pieces that made me feel the same, was from Two Steps from Hell "Neon Nights". This piece could have easily been in the same album. Thank you very much, dear Astrophysics!

One day in September of 2019, at school, I was sitting in front of a piano, trying to figure out how to play Sweden. I remember watching a few videos explaining the song, and I remembered from them most of the chords. A bit of trial and error later, I had it mostly down. Meanwhile, I thought to myself, "Wow, these chords really remind me of synthwave/vaporwave music!". And so I had found it: The reason Sweden sounds so nostalgic is because it is written with the same types of chords and voicings as synthwave songs, to evoke the same emotions. Only recently, many months later, do I discover this masterpiece that combines the two in a way that oddly makes so much sense.

C418’s Sweden has made Minecraft for me personally, I’d some times go on just to listen to Sweden, at like 2AM trying to forget the fight my parents had when i came back from school. It almost quite literally saves my life, I was always up late playing Minecraft cause I needed something to make me feel like i had a meaning to exit.
And now, I’m almost a adult, I’m here vibing to something I once had a escape from my life, trying to do it again

I read 'summoning salt parents' and I have not been able to think straight from that moment ever again
I remember back in good ol' 1986 when me and a friend used to play this game called Minecraft on our computers. We'd both get our walkie talkies and go on for hours. I always loved when this track faintly came one while we were traveling all over the different biomes or digging in caves underground looking for diamonds even though I kept falling in lava. They always laughed at me when I did, heh.

and sometimes the player believed the universe had spoken to it through the zeros and ones, through the electricity of the world, through the scrolling words on a screen at the end of a dream
and the universe said I love you
and the universe said you have played the game well
and the universe said everything you need is within you
and the universe said you are stronger than you know
and the universe said you are the daylight
and the universe said you are the night
and the universe said the darkness you fight is within you
and the universe said the light you seek is within you
and the universe said you are not alone
and the universe said you are not separate from every other thing
and the universe said you are the universe tasting itself, talking to itself, reading its own code

And the game was over and the player woke up from the dream. And the player began a new dream. And the player dreamed again, dreamed better. And the player was the universe. And the player was love.

This is an amazing song choice for Astro to remix, and a great remix. I wonder if, due to Minecraft's obvious popularity, this could draw in new viewers to the channel, much like the JoJo remixes did. Personally some of my favourites from Minecraft's music are Alpha, Intro, Blind Spots and Taswell.

Once a pon a time when Fortnite was at its peak of popularity, I was that ‘weird’ kid that still played Minecraft, barely anyone was speaking about Minecraft or me, everyone was talking about battle pass, vbucks and skins, I was the one who still pvp’d in Minecraft. Yet out of nowhere, only 1 year later, Minecraft rose from its grave and beat Minecraft becoming the most popular game, and Fortnite was never heard from again.

while I don't understand all the best melodies that go with Synthwave/80's music, I believe that you (with your talent) would be able to do and pull off "Cant take my eyes off you"-Frankie Valli/Four Seasons, it's a classic, and while it doesn't exactly fit with your albums on bandcamp (I've followed you there for awhile now) I think it embodies your work as a whole instead, which is doing classic, iconic songs that everyone knows and loves..... but anyways what do I know, I'm just a fool with a undying love for music, keep up the good work Astro..... where all here for you
