This is a very special release, I've never done something like it. I realized that my remixes can be quite popular sometimes and I don't like o profit of it, that's why they're all for free. If I can make viral remixes and help my community at the same time, so be it. astrophysicsbrazil.bandcamp.com/album/someday-ill-see-you-again
It’s hard to explain to the older generations, but Minecraft really did have a huge impact growing up. It was carefree and a place where being creative and expressive was cool. And even as every other game or trend faded away Minecraft was always there, and was even growing in features. We’d always end up coming back to it. We still do. And this album’s making me wanna call up the lads and start again.
My partners kids were introduced to minecraft a while ago and they absolutely love it. They play it on PC and console. Even I thought it was just a basic hype game back in the time, as it came out when I was teenager. But now, as I have also played it a bit again, it really has some super nice aspects.
"Someday i'll see you again", i haven't really got why such name at first ...but then when it hit me... we all abandon minecraft and then.. slowly come back again
Minecraft, the first game I played with anyone other than my sister. From small public servers to large. They were also created by LAN (Hamachi, we remember) and finally created online. I would go back to those times, to my friends and carefree
The amount of impact this little block game had on the childhood of my generation cannot be understated. I picked the game back up in 2019 and it’s been one of the best choices I’ve ever done. Started fresh on a new account, with a skin I made myself, and tried to put myself back together. This is incredible, man. All the music you make, remix or not, is incredible. Thank you for everything.
There's no way to quantify how much of an impact this game had on our generation. This little block game collectively shaped our childhoods, to the point where we all share a very specific but universally experienced emotion, only brought out by works like this.
This video will blow up, trust me. I've seen other remixes of these songs before but never something so well done and with this many of them. This is like the definitive Minecraft Synthwave album and I love following you and being one of the first to hear it.
dude, you did a beautiful tribute to this beautiful game. A thing that i always wanted to do but that i never have been able to do because of my lack of creative skills. what you put in your video's description is what i would have loved to communicate with a tribute like yours to this beautiful game. thanks again for this masterpiece. have a good day, and a good life too.
Minecraft really hit different back in the day. You get home from school, turn on your Xbox 360, and load Minecraft. You message your friends and send them an invite, they aren't home yet. You walk around your world, looking at all of the neat little builds you've made, the failed mob farm, the first house you made, just a small little hut made of dirt and wood. Then your friends start joining, you gear up and head to the stronghold, today's the day, you'll beat the Ender Dragon. And you're doing it with your friends.
October 15, 2012 was a day that probably changed my life. I, with the help of my dad, bought minecraft on PC after hearing the other boys talking about it at my cub scout troop meeting. Just the other day I went to their Eagle Scout award ceremony. Since then I have built and blown up so much and met so many people because of the game. The first few servers I have been on were Zitcraft (which I cant find any evidence of anymore despite it being a pretty popular server for the time), OC.TC, The Hive, MCPVP and a small community server called GeekyServers. All are gone now, and not a day passes I don't get reminded of them. I will not forget Sweden until the day I die. To all the people I have played with over the years, I hope you miss the old days just as much as I do. Someday i'll see you all again.
Bro this is legit giving me cyberpunk minecraft vibes...honestly well, we'll probably still be playing something like it in the future. It will just be like a remix, like this.
ok, i usually dont like edits/remixes of the minecraft soundtrack, but this is my one exception. glad i decided to give it a fair shot, it was more than worth it. like dude, ive listened to this more times than is probably healthy and its still awesome. like Wet Hands specifically, the regular version of that just feels sad, unfinished. you managed to give it the ending it deserves.
This feels like a full realization of the effort and idea of the original Minecraft synths you made and it’s amazing! You’ve made something incredible here and It’s an easy addition to my playlist!
Living Mice is the pinnacle of experiencing Minecraft. The good old Alpha and Beta memories, with so few blocks and limited environment but even the most stupidly simple combination of water, stone, and grass blocks would enthrall you into the world. Where most others would see a jumble of low res cubes, I saw a cliffside pond in the woods.
This is a severely, *severely* under-viewed masterpiece. Hopefully, this video gets more traction soon. You did an absolutely godlike job at making a Minecraft tribute album.
Shit man, astro did this game justice. I started playing in 2012 after my friend recommended it to me, and we'd play when we could, the first server that we played on was RemyPas, it's long since shut down, but hey, I'm reminiscing.
Minecraft was one of the first games i ever played. i started playing it about 10 or 11 years ago when i was only 3 years old. it's the best friend i ever had. anyone who dislikes this video is disliking millions of childhoods
This game's the reason I know everyone I do today. It got me into programming (which is now my career), it got me into my hobbies like game design and animation. I met so many friends years and years ago through this little block game. So many countless hours, days, weeks spent playing this game. It still feels like home 11 years later loading up Java edition. It's truly saddening to see what Microsoft has done to the game, but I know it wouldn't have become what it is today without their cash flow.
Taking 2 hours to set up a hamachi server with your mates, finding your first diamond, copying that really good treehouse tutorial then giving up halfway. Man ill do anything to return to the simpler days.
It's funny. Minecraft music isn't nostalgic for me because I was kinda too old to really be into it when it came out and I never have got into it. But I've been exposed to it a lot because I hang around with a lot of people younger than me (it just happens, when you don't have kids yourself) so to me, Minecraft music sounds like friendship.
I can’t believe this doesn’t have more views, I found this about a year ago and keep coming back to listen to it, it’s very good. I love how the synthwave style works so well with C418’s style and the specific songs from MC that were selected. This is seriously great, thank you for putting this together!
Man, this really triggered my nostalgia and a bit of existential dread as well. What if our happiest/best moments are all behind us? Relegated to memories that'll muddle and fade with time as we live in a world without novelty or special connection.
god this is so good - I've been playing minecraft since 2011, back when we could access it through the demo on their website on the school computers. Then, a friend of mine let the two of us use her brother's friend's account, then we got accounts, and idk it's just always been a part of my life in some way since then, and this album is such a good nostalgic and hopeful feeling, as well as these are all bangers oml amazing work
This game will forever shape us, in creativity, competitiveness and classic nostalgia; for it has pioneered thousands of projects, created an assortment of friendships, and a plethora of digital history with boundless memories. These pieces are the cherry on top. Thanks Astrophysics.
I've listened to this so much since I finally saw it was up. It's one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard. Minecraft has had a huge impact on my life and to hear one of my favorite artists do a tribute just hit my heart in all the right ways.
This makes me feel so much nostalgia.... minecraft was such a big part of my childhood. wonder how the friends I met on minecraft back around 2012 are doing now, haven't spoken to them in years
This game was my sole bridge to my otherwise unreachable friends. This is the game that I grew up with. When I think of my childhood, this game comes to my mind first. Same goes for millions. To everyone that had a hand in this project, thank you.
I remember when you first teased this on the community page. I was a new watcher at the time and hadn’t subscribed. I was counting down the days only to forget the name.. I just found you again and I wasn’t disappointed. Thank you. Your work brings people to a whole new time where things could have been different
God this album is amazing. It's such a shame that the algorithm hasn't shared this around cause it's truly incredible and somehow makes me nostalgic for the game even though I started playing it again last week
Man. I just saw your comment on Renegade - Kravinsky. Just wanted to stop by and say hi, I remember listening to all of your synthwave JoJo tracks (still do!). Very happy to see you're still going after you lost your account, and with some momentum too.
Words cant describe playing this game for the first time. But somehow this music does. The surreal feeling of simultaneously being calm in the vast unknown world you know nothing about and the subtle unease of the dangers riddled throughout. This is amazing, thank you.
Some parts sound like they're straight out of the blade runner soundtrack. Despite this being "from" minecraft, it's genuinely good synthwave music. Bravo.
Astrophysics I just love the way you imagine sound. You need to try and get on RUclips new monetization that they are rolling out for creators who can receive donations that don't always live stream, I would certainly support. Also loved your work with Kiara on her song, hopefully you continue to work with Hololive.
Alpha to 1.18.1,will remember those old days, where it was a underated game, cuz of its graphics and all.I started playing minecraft at 2013 :),many people quitted as seeing the mc graphics where not at al good and then it gets alive again when a guy made texure pack and shader packs, minecraft has changed alot.:) Thanks to notch for this all happiness and emotions i have felt while playing this game. From age 6 to 16, this game made me make a smile on my face everyday. Basically it's your RuneScape. You never quit, you just take breaks.
My partners kids were introduced to minecraft a while ago and they absolutely love it. They play it on PC and console. Minecraft is like drugs but better
once you start it you can't stop and every time you come back it's still as relaxing as ever
🤔 how old is Minecraft? I love the game, but it hasn't been around that long.
@@lemonpie9531 ok. That makes sense. That is a bigger chunk of life to a younger person 🤣.
"Someday i'll see you again", i haven't really got why such name at first

Sad how poor the reception of this album has been, it's a masterpiece! Hopefully it will be blessed by the RUclips algorithm.
The good stuff is always hidden.

Yeah I didn't even know this existed, I knew a about the Sweden synthwave and coming back to it was how I found this
So glad I found it

Synthwave and Minecraft music go so well together... its upbeat, lively, yet carries an ethereal emptiness and is still deeply nostalgic.
C418 *did* make the stranger things theme
The amount of impact this little block game had on the childhood of my generation cannot be understated.
I picked the game back up in 2019 and it’s been one of the best choices I’ve ever done. Started fresh on a new account, with a skin I made myself, and tried to put myself back together.

Thats crazy, I remember being a kid myself and picking up the game almost ten years ago. It’s timeless
I remember the days when pocket edition just dropped and everybody at my school Had it
