Ok I amazed by the tarte I am 37 and I have very dark colored circles, fine lines and a bumpy texture in that area too under my eyes and other concealers would just show off the bumps and seem to not cover up the dark color but this tarte under eye corrector… let me just say amazing I put it on and when you say you could just ware this corrector she was not wrong I used a tiny bit and it was like I was erasing my dark under eye and totally smoothed the bumps too!! I had to come back and find this video to let you know how happy I am right now thank you!!

I'm 36 and I've found my undereyes have gotten drier. I switched from Benefit Boing concealer and Tarte shape tape to Becca brightening corrector and Tarte maracuja concealer. It looks so much better now. I have large dark circles that I've had my whole life due to allergies. I found the Maybelline corrector and concealer didn't do much for me at all.

I’m 45 with yellowish skin tones and faint lines and dark circles under my eyes. Tested out TONS of different regular colored concealers for years, and nothing fully masked the darkness. Finally, I tried the Believe Beauty, Brighten Up, Color Correcting Concealer, in the shade Light/Medium (from Dollar General), and the circles completely disappeared for the first time ever! I was amazed! I always use an eye cream underneath, and have never had a problem with this corrector drying my skin or looking patchy. It blends into my skin smoothly, feels moisturizing, it doesn’t settle into, or accentuate fine lines, and it was only $4.00. I put my favorite concealer over top (Lancôme Maquicomplet Concealer in the shade Light Buff), then I set it with the Believe Beauty loose powder, and my under eyes have never looked so good! I usually also dust a little bit of the Wet N Wild, Reserve Your Cabana, under my eyes too, after watching some RUclipsrs using it, and it adds extra brightness. So glad I finally decided to try a peach toned corrector. It has been a game changer, and I’ll never go back to not using one.

Thanks Stephanie! I bought the NYX palette after watching one of your other videos because it was an inexpensive way to experiment with color. I use the dark peach then add a bit of the light peach on top to brighten and set with a small amount of translucent powder. I don't need concealer anymore!! I bought this palette for my sister because we have hereditary undereye discoloration. She loves it. I hope to add a high end version to my collection in the future because color corrector has been a game changer.

See, I've always been on the fence with this palette just because I tried the pot corrector they used to make and I hated it; it was an oily, creasy mess... seeing so many people who enjoy this palette and recommend it; I might break down and actually get it because I use multiple correctors to create the perfect look for me; I find mixing pink and yellow create the perfect almost salmon pink or flesh tone pink color for me and it really works well for my under eyes... I also have hereditary under eye discoloration and it's been a journey; color correctors have truly made my life so much easier since I've discovered them years and years ago

I have tried various correctors, high-end & drugstore. For me, the one that works the best atm is Hard Candy, Sheerenvy, color correct, cushion wonder (could the name be any longer??? Lol) It is in a peach tone. I haven't really used other products in this brand & I just came across this one day & thought why not give it a shot. It does really well on my dark circles that have just developed in the last year. (I'm 66, so actually feel fortunate that I haven't had to deal with this issue before now.) Some days I can just use this without concealer & other days I use Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Multi-Use Concealer. I do not have issues with either of these with my lines & wrinkles. I tried Maybelline's brighter, which I so wanted to work, but it was just too drying for me. I do have dry skin. Thank you for your great reviews! They are sincerely appreciated.

The becca corrector is now made by smash box - it’s basically the same. I find it a little less sticky and smoother now. And!!!!!!! It comes in medium now- it’s a nice peach colour just slightly lighter than the pixi corrector and it’s fantastic. I used to hate this pink shiny product- but they have improved it significantly! Check out shade medium

Hi Stephanie, I don’t use corrector. I use concealer or sometimes just my foundation with a little setting powder works well. I just bought my second Laura Mercierundereye brightening powder. The first one lasted a year. Even if I don’t wear make up I always use concealer around my eyes because I have dark under eye circles and my lids are discolored. Most pandemic days I use concealer around my eyes set with the LM powder,do my eyebrows and that’s it.

Thank you for such a helpful video! You’re great at explaining everything. Another trick that helps is to apply your corrector and pat it in just A BIT. Then, let it set for a couple minutes before you finish blending it. This helps both correctors and concealers to give fuller coverage and if I have the time, I do this with both. Mrs. Melissa M originally recommended this trick and I do feel it makes a difference. The only caveat would be quick drying concealers. Blessings💕

Also, what I recommend prior to concealer or corrector; use an eye SERUM. Serums will hydrate and soak into the skin better without creating that cream film that some eye creams can create; which can be problematic with how much coverage you get. Let the eye serum settle in for about 1 minute prior to apply any other product. I personally still love my Pixi corrector but I don't like how small the jar is; I wish they would widen it so you can easily get your finger in there without getting product under your nails... I've heard a lot of good things about the Flower Beauty corrector so I would definitely give it a try; it has a more matte finish so you will definitely want to hydrate prior but the lasting power and all is very nice from what I've seen and heard from other people who have tried it

Hi Chrissy! I always put the link to my concealer and foundation match list that lives over on my blog in my descriptions so you guys have it as a reference. You just prompted me to add some correctors that have been missing from that list! The reason I don't add them in my description boxes regularly is because they have character limits. Sometimes I can fit it, other times I can't. So it's great if I can fit it, but then people will wonder about the times I can't. So that's why I put the match list link instead, where ALL my matches are listed for you. I'll be adding those other correctors later today. :)

Iam currently trying out the Charlotte Tilbury in fair. I was using Urban Decay in light peach. The UD just seemed really thin and didn't completely do the trick. Bobbie Brown's was just too thick. The same with Wet N Wild. Want to try the Nix but it is rarely in stock in my area.

I'm 53 and finding my under eyes are dryer in winter and I recently tried Younique concealer in color: velour.
Wow, use a tiny bit! It covers discolored under eyes very well!
I would love for your input on this concealer, what you think?

I was using the Colorscience 3 in 1 but I developed contact dermatitis. I'm not sure if they changed the formula but it took me weeks to figure what was causing it. I purchased the Tarte and so far, really liking it. I see other recommendations in the comments section and may look into. Thanks for another great review and I love how you show the product being applied!!

My favorite is the Bobbi Brown Corrector in "Bisque". It's the perfect shade of peach-salmon to cover my under eye discoloration, which leans purple. I don't repurchase it often because of the tiny amount it comes in...it gets expensive! Upon watching your video, I checked the prices for the Charlotte Tilbury corrector and saw that it's significantly less expensive per unit! (Bobbi Brown $29.00/1.4g = $20.71 per gram. Charlotte Tilbury $32.00/2.5g = 12.80 per gram. Wow! That's a big difference!) Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I'm your "summer" foundation shade in Estee Lauder DW (Rattan) and one click more "Mediterranean" in Dior Backstage ("Warm Olive") year-round. I love your suggestions!

I have 3 correctors that are my go-to's; the Tarte cc corrector, CT, and Bobbi Brown. I have very dark undereye circles and deep set eyes. The brightening ones, i.e. Becca didn't work for me at all.

I did try that one. It was very thin and didn't offer me enough correction, but I enjoyed the formula and hydration. I could see why people like it. But if you have a lot to correct, I don't think it will do much for you. :)
