I have hereditary dark circles and also some fine lines. My go to is the KVD and recently, I bought the Tower 28 and also like it. I never set with powder because it accentuates the lines under my eyes. Instead of powder, I spray a spray of Urban Decay All nighter on my fingertips and just lightly tap that under my eyes to set. Works every time and through a 12 hour shift outside (in Florida). Also seems to diminish and lines under my eyes.

Hey, Stephanie! 48 is NOT old! Many people say I was in my prime at 48. Wait until you are 68! But I'm not sorry I'm old. For example, you really DO get wiser, and you might even say SMARTER. It is SO hard to get eye makeup to stay in place, though, even with primer! My solution is I wear less eye makeup. By the way, this is the first year of my life that I have started wearing foundation (BB cream), and only to give me a little colour. My advice is, don't use it unless you need it. But I definitely recommend a moisturizer with sunscreen for all four seasons.
"Don't use it unless you need it" is great advice, imho. I use far less of all makeup, the older I ge because it accentuates the lines wrinkles on me. I've never worn foundation though, & if I could find a BB or CC cream that didn't make me look like I'm wearing crappy foundation, I'd be happy~ except so far they all do. I do use a bit of concealer undereye, my circles are quite dark, & around sides of nose where I'm a bit red. Do you have a favorite BB or concealer by chance? A whole lot changes between 48 & 68 for certain =) Thanks so much Carol, Samantha in AZ
@carolk2299 I've always has to use moisturiser. Just feels so tight without it. I'm 63 and getting wiser every year.lol But I bought some eye wrinkle remover. Can't use oil based anything with it. So am slowly getting the my perfect collection. Bought the face lift yesterday. Silly me. Should have waited for a sake

Great reviews Stephanie! I just tried the Tangee red away correcting cream, it's a great color corrector! After that, I need just the slightest amount of concealer for brightening with much less creasing. It's working out great! I appreciate you putting price by ounce. You look lovely today, love red on you! Have a nice weekend ❤

Thank you Stephanie for this video. I have been using the Estée Lauder Futuristic Brightening Concealer for 2 months now and I do like it, although just like you, I can’t put it on too thick or it settles into my creases and I have to be careful of how much powder I put on it. Thank again!🙋♀️😊❤️🇨🇦

Love your concealer recommendation. I am struggling with dark circles and extreme dryness under the eyes. Also can you please share your hair color. Thank you
I still like the old it cosmetics bye bye under eye for full coverage without the dry cakey look. It’s not “luminous” or “radiant” but it doesn’t set so it doesn’t dry out and has full coverage. Tons of shades. It’s one I always go back to.
Your reviews are so thorough and you work so hard on all your reviews one of the best ever ! Thank you I am 63. I found that I really like the Lancôme Tient idole. I need to try some. I do like the Georgio Armani. It has a peach undertone. My inner corners have dark. No dark circles. I’m 63. Dry.
First, your bangs and hair are just amazing. I have the same under eye issues except I am 62 and have more lines and dryness. Loved the thoroughness of this review. Love your hair! I have never been lucky with concealer…not sure if it is me not being skilled but most make me look worse…I really need help…hollows, discolouration and dry crepey skin.
Hello Stephanie. Love your reviews, especially since I also have dry under-eye skin and dark circles. Have you tried the Winky Lux concealer? I got a trial size with an order and I was blown away at how good it is. Btw, it’s full coverage and unscented but it comes in a squeeze tube which is not a deal breaker for me since it’s so good.

I got it and use it for those days where I am an outdoorgirl. Would love your review of the Drmtlgy concealer. It is a 41. Again, thanks for this video, that Guerlin might be in my future.
As a guy looking to cover dark circles i was wondering if its necessary to use foundation in addition to the concealer and color corrector, if im only using it for those spots.
I always recommend using the least layers possible and never use foundation under my eyes since it sets and dries down more, which emphasizes texture and dryness. If you haven’t yet, check out my video on covering hollows with dark circles. It may help you as well! 💗
Great reviews as usual! 👍👍I’m using the Laura Mercier concealer you reviewed in the video. I use the CT under eye corrector in light. I love this combination under my dry eyes. I set it with Givenchy loose powder in the pinky color. Love my undereyes with this trio! Your bangs look great in this video! Your hair looks beautiful!! 😀
This is the best one ever lol I LOVE the SEPHORA GLOW CONCEALER !!!! I have NEVER worn a concealer never even thought about it until recently and I need plumping I wish they had a foundation to match it’s beautiful!!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Your video was amazing, wow! I have a quick question: If I had to choose one concealer that gives the most realistic and natural look for dark circles-one that is undetectable- which one would you recommend for men, please?
I’m similar age to you with same under eye issues, I’ve given up caring about bags, nothing works for me, creases or leaves dry area near inner side of under eye , help please
I think you look particularly lovely today! Are you please able to say what lip product you used? As I am in Australia the products you have linked don't work for me.
Hi Stephanie, I started using the Necessaire body wash after hearing you talk about it and I love it. I am considering the Rosemary shampoo and conditioner. I am having some hair loss and I am wondering if you have tried it ? Its pricey so dont want to try it unless I have a good recommendation. Thank you! FYI, Neutrogena concealer is my current fave.Ecru light is very slightly peach so is a color correction too
I'm using up the last of my Kopari Starry Eye Balm that's discontinued. I'm trying out an eye stick from Tula that I'm sharing in Sunday's video. I like it so far! Thank you!
@@StephanieMarie thank you, I suffer with pilling between the bridge of my nose and the corner of my eye... which is where my eyes are the darkest... Nothing seems to work. Not even Charlotte Tilbury colour corrector.. infant that one is the worst.
Stephanie - thank you for your reviews. I have dark circles and hollows much worst than yours. Also very dry in that area. It's always a struggle to find the right product. I think you get to a point where is no magic product that can cover 100% and look somewhat natural at the same time. However, we keep trying to do our best! I have been using the Nars Creamy concealer and the Lancome Tent Idole. I decided to try the Haus Labs and it is actually very good. I use the 20 Light Medium Peach. I'm actually using it without color corrector (I use the Charlotte Tilbury one). Anyway - thank again and maybe you can try Haus Labs the next time.
Hi! I reviewed Haus Laubs when it was released too. It's in a previous review. I love the consistency and smoothness for a medium coverage concealer, but it didn't have quite enough coverage for me. You can find my review a few concealer reviews back. I retried Nars Creamy in my recent testing new makeup video last week and it's still too drying for me. Love Lancome TI! :) Thank you for watching!!
I am still on the hunt for a good concealer. About to give up. I have tried so many and nothing seems to cover these dark circles! Using the fiera now but it is so thick and drying.
I just bought Fiera, and am worried about this "drying effect." Do you know what causes it? What about shades and colors. They recommended light, but there was nothing to test it with online. I don't have the product yet, but interested in your experiences.
I have been waiting for your review on the Guerlain concealer and the new Laura Mercier concealer. Like you, I was so excited to try both, as I love the Guerlain foundation and the flawless fusion concealer. Also like you, I was so disappointed in the coverage of both. Even with a color corrector, I don't get the amount of coverage I'm comfortable with. So sad. :(
I love the YSL foundation but hated and returned the concealer. Have you tried the Tower 28 concealer? It's really nice, covers and hydrates. I was very surprised by it because I need to correct and conceal my dark undereyes.
Love this vid but for girlies with DARK circles, I don’t recommend liquid concealer. I personally use a pot concealer they’re a bit more full coverage ❤
I keep buying and trying all these new concealers…and then go back to my LYS and Tower 28. 😊 Since finding the REM Beauty cooling under eye primer all concealers look better. That and the La Roche Posay B5 gel.
@@ashleybullard1285 I use it morning and night as eye cream. I do put sunscreen on top of it in the morning and use the REM under eye primer before concealer. I let all my skincare sink in for at least 15 minutes before makeup.
What is your skin like? How old are you or generally I’m sorry lol I want to see if it will work for me because I’ve never met an eye primer that works, but I would love to try it if it was similar to my skin.
hi Stephanie I have a color question regarding the color you list for Pat McGrath's concealer. i have the same coloring as you, so I'm surprised at the undertones of L6 for your undereye area. i have darker circles and hollows than you. is there a reason you go with pink rather than a warmer undertone? thanks in advance
Hi! Yes, pink and peach counterbalance dark circles and look way better than yellow for that. Yellow tends to make me look ill under my eyes vs pink or peach which cancels the discoloration better and brightens. I'm able to blend it down into my foundation seamlessly and it works just fine :)
Thank you for the video, knowing what doesn’t cover your dark circles tells me what won’t cover mine especially since my circles are a lot darker than yours. I also have lines and crepy skin under my eyes which gets even more exaggerated once I set with powder. Can you tell me your top 5 concealers for all three issues? If you want to throw in some powders to set with that won’t all of a sudden deepen the concealer and waste all the time you spent putting the concealer on, I will appreciate that too.
Laura Mercier works so well for my dry skin and I love ND concealer. But if I could only have one it would be LM. ND shade was easier to match for me. I also go a shade lighter than my foundation and I had to mix two LM shades to get the color I wanted.
Fantastic video. This is so timely, since I'm looking for a new concealer & was doing a deep dive into your previous videos earlier today. Always appreciate your thoughtful insights & thorough research.
Thank you for your review. I’ve found the Sephora brand products I’ve tried (concealer, eye liners, eye shadows) to be complete garbage. Tried the brand during the sale and big fail.
What eye cream are you using Stephanie right now? I just haven’t found anything I like lately since I turned 50 Help I’m sick of buying them and I’ve spent a ton of money. I was married to the Nars concealer. But it’s not working for me now and I’m trying all of those now too. I just need something a little more coverage.
In the morning, I'm using the last of my Ordinary Serum before I crack open a new NIOD. Both are at the top of this list of some tried and true ones I enjoy or have enjoyed: shopmy.us/collections/15167 At night, I've been testing out the OneSkin one at the bottom of the list but haven't talked about it yet. I want to give it a full go first. I shared their SPF in one of my monthly favorites :)
Witch concealers are best for dry fine lines to use? None of this seem to work as well as you would like. I have tons of make-up and hate to use because of this issue. scare of concealer. I hate those creases under my eyes after applying concealer.
I think i use too much concealer in general. I have very deep set eyes, quite close together, with very dark veins uner and on my lids. No color correctors seem to cover or corrector enough without being too dark on my fair skin. Plus they tend to change how my concealer sits. But then i use too much concealer to try to brighten and cover that area. I also have a lot dryness and texture around my eyes. Maybe I'm just sol. Any full full coverage concealer is dry af, but natural finishes aren't enough coverage.
All concealers crease because of the movement of the face. Once you figure out where that is on your face, then every concealer will not crease, providing you don't apply product there. I'm a month shy of 47 with dry and dehydrated skin. While I have minimal darkness compared to others, I have a lot of puffiness and the resulting shadow is obvious. People have mentioned to me since changing the area of application, that I don't look old anymore.
I rely so much on your concealer reviews; what works best on you is works best on me! What corrector and concealer are you liking absolutely the best for medium full coverage for you right now?
I feel like the Natasha Denona concealer coverage disappears and it's too creamy and creasy for me. I don't set with powder bc it looks so crepe and dry and dinosaur looking lol and it removes coverage imo. I think it's why I'm the single person in the universe that doesn't like that concealer 😂
No you're not. I didn't like it in my review of it either. It's drying on me as the day goes on. I think it works well for those with moderate dryness who may have texture OR those who have moderate texture with dryness. But for those of us with both, it just doesn't work
The older I get the less I use concealer. I do much better mixing a few drops of a hydrating serum into whichever foundation I'm wearing than concealer. Almost all of them make me look crepey, wrinkly and much older. No thank you.
I wish I didn't look like a zombie without it. Foundation doesn't cover enough and because it sets it's always more drying on me. That might work better for me with drying concealers though. Hmmmm maybe I can make some work that haven't before! Thanks for that!
Great video but please stop posting price per ounce anything that is 40 dollars per ounce I would not buy. We just want price most of us don’t oabout ounce price
Hi, I understand you feel that information isn’t relevant for you. While you feel you can speak for most of my viewers and think most of them don't care about per ounce price, you are one person and cannot speak for most of my viewers. I make my videos for thousands of people and not just one. While you may not want to hear about a particular foundation or want that 2-3 extra seconds of price per ounce breakdown, many of my viewers do. You’re more than welcome to speed through those few seconds if you’re bothered by them. The price per ounce given per video adds on less than 20 total seconds per video I do.

I always recommend using the least layers possible and never use foundation under my eyes since it sets and dries down more, which emphasizes texture and dryness. If you haven’t yet, check out my video on covering hollows with dark circles. It may help you as well! 💗
What corrector did you use when testing the concealers?
I use either my Bobbi Brown that's being discontinued or Tarte CC usually.
Thanks so much!
What is CT?
CT-Charlotte Tilbury.
Love your hair!
Thank you! :)
Please test the new Wyn Concealer and Skin Tint
I’m similar age to you with same under eye issues, I’ve given up caring about bags, nothing works for me, creases or leaves dry area near inner side of under eye , help please
Hi was wondering if you have a review on under eye correctors? I enjoy your videos.
Yes I do 💗
I think you look particularly lovely today!
Thank you! FYI, Neutrogena concealer is my current fave.Ecru light is very slightly peach so is a color correction too
Can't wait to watch this video 💙💛❤💚💜
Hi, thanks for this video . Am definitely going to try . What do you prep your under eye area with prior to concealer thanks Karen
@@StephanieMarie what is your absolute favorite?
I am still on the hunt for a good concealer. About to give up. I have tried so many and nothing seems to cover these dark circles! Using the fiera now but it is so thick and drying.
I didn't like the Fiera as much as everyone else either. I'm going to do a roundup of top concealers soon :)
Hi! I reviewed the Tower 28 concealer a long while back. You can search for the review on my channel if you'd like. It's one of my top faves :)
Thanks for another great video. Do you think the Sephora concealer would be good for highlighting? I seems like it's super light reflecting
It just doesn't apply smoothly for me, so I won't use it for that personally. Thank you!
Do you ise the LA Roche Posay gel under concealer? I just bought it and I love it but I can't get it to work under concealer at all
Do you use the la roche posay as a night treatment? Or under concealer?
@@ashleybullard1285 I use it morning and night as eye cream. I do put sunscreen on top of it in the morning and use the REM under eye primer before concealer. I let all my skincare sink in for at least 15 minutes before makeup.
@@kate.4403 Both. But I wear sunscreen over it in the morning and use the REM under eye primer before concealer.
@@StephanieMarie Thank you! 💕
Hi! I'm glad it helped! I'm unable to respond to everyone with individual recs but will have a top concealers video out soon 💖
Thank you
Laura Mercier works so well for my dry skin and I love ND concealer. But if I could only have one it would be LM. ND shade was easier to match for me. I also go a shade lighter than my foundation and I had to mix two LM shades to get the color I wanted.
Thank you so much, yes very helpful.
Fantastic video. This is so timely, since I'm looking for a new concealer & was doing a deep dive into your previous videos earlier today. Always appreciate your thoughtful insights & thorough research.
Do you have a video testing concealers with a beauty blender?
I test them with sponges also but prefer to blend out most with the warmth of my finger because of the better coverage, smoothness, and blendability.
Stephanie, i appreciate you reporting to us on those concealers. ❤ Which one of all , and not necessarily from this video is your number pick ? 🙏🌺💗
Thank you for your review. I’ve found the Sephora brand products I’ve tried (concealer, eye liners, eye shadows) to be complete garbage. Tried the brand during the sale and big fail.
Have you tried natasha denona?
Yes you can find it if you search stephanie marie natasha denona concealer :)
Your hair looks fantastic. You look just like Taylor Swift. Wild!
Aw thank you!
I’m new to your channel. Have you tried Haus Labs Triclone concealer ? If so, what are your thoughts ?
She has a video where she does talk about that one. She liked it.
I sure have! It's in my concealer playlist :)
Witch concealers are best for dry fine lines to use? None of this seem to work as well as you would like. I have tons of make-up and hate to use because of this issue. scare of concealer. I hate those creases under my eyes after applying concealer.
Tower28 :)
@@StephanieMarie Thank you!
It cosmetics undereye concealer seems to be the best. Only need to use a little and it’s very tacky. It’s good for dry eyes.
My faves include the Nyx serum, Lancôme eclat, and the HUDA #fauxfilter.
You look so different with bangs I can’t even get used to it! I’m a hairstylist so idk why it’s so shocking to me 😂😂
Your eyes! Wow!
I need a full coverage concealer because my eyes are very dark under the eye.
VIEVE!❤
Sephora concealer is the best
I rely so much on your concealer reviews; what works best on you is works best on me! What corrector and concealer are you liking absolutely the best for medium full coverage for you right now?
Thank you! I'm working on an updated top concealer video right now! :)
I’m kind of shocked how few shades a brand like Guerlain has
I feel like the Natasha Denona concealer coverage disappears and it's too creamy and creasy for me.
But for those of us with both, it just doesn't work
❤❤❤
For $47 I expect it to buy me dinner! 😂
You lost me when I saw the price of these concealers.
It’s always a mixed bag. Sometimes these have more affordable products. Unfortunately I don’t control which brands release new products.
Mind you, you only need 2 dots under each eye usually, so they do last ages!!
