- Finally I'm a US citizen! Sharing with you my US citizenship interview and oath ceremony last Feb. 9, 2022 at USCIS Denver. It took me almost 3 months from the time I filed my N-400 application until my naturalization ceremony.
What's next for me? I'll be applying for my US Passport, Change the status of my SSN and apply for my dual citizenship!

Had my interview on 16th Mar 2022 at Newark, Nj. Had oath the same time. Lady was very nice and asked simple questions like First president , what age to vote , Chief Justice, who makes federal laws, one war in 1800. No definitions. Was in n out in less than 10 minutes. Good luck everyone

Btw my daughter had interview today and uscis called to cancel due to short staff but she still showed up and they took her n she had her oath the same time. Same Newark location 🎉🎊

Congratulations to us both. I also applied in November 2021 and got my interview and oath taking ceremony done last Monday February 14th 2022. I immediately applied for passport after the ceremony. Passport is coming in this Friday in the mail.

Congratulations! I'm still waiting for the notice of the interview. I filed my N400 last December 22, 2021. Good thing I checked my N400 and I made a minor error regarding my spouse's number of marriages. Thanks for this video.

For those waiting for a your oath swearing ceremony to be scheduled I will share my wife’s experience. They did not have time to process the removal of restrictions prior to her interview. This is her timeline:
Nov 30. She had and passed her citizenship test/interview
Dec 15. They combined her removal of restrictions and N400 process
Jan 19. They Scheduled her oath swearing ceremony
Feb 8. This is the date she has her oath ceremony scheduled for.
So, from the time they said she could be a citizen to officially becoming a citizen will be 70 day. A bit frustrating, but I wanted to share in case anyone else is waiting and wondering on the timeline. This is with the Chicago branch also. We are so happy to almost be done with the process!

Congratulations! 3 months is amazingly fast! Processing times for Denver, CO FO show 9 to 15 months. I wonder if that's the norm these days! Will be applying in a couple of weeks!

@@IndayLorayUSA because they process the newest applicants. I’ve seen random videos for approved applicants in different state. I just feel frustrated and anxious! I’m sorry, just want to vent out!
I am also with Denver and my interview is just scheduled. Mine will be around 10 months total. Legend says that if you lived in multiple states, the background check takes longer. Or it's just random, idk :)

I applied for N 400 on January 4th and then I got Interviewed and passed on May 5th. Officer said and give a paper for passed but cannot made decision because my I 751 for 10 years green card. She said that will push uscis to send I751 inf that I can get oath ceremony next 2 weeks, but now it is 4 weeks and I did not receive any letters and messages online (like she said) for oath ceremony.
What should I do? Do you have any information for this.

Sorry no idea.. as what the officer said that she will push the uscis about your I-751, she is probably still waiting for the results of your I-751 form uscis

Hello, So my husband had his interview yesterday, but unfortunately the officer was very rude and disrespecting him, and he wasn’t able to say anything, my question is on the n652 she didn’t tell him if he passed or not, she told him “ ull understand from this form” he had a check Mark on the “ he passed the civic question and the history and government but at the bottom there is no check on the “ ull have another opportunity to be tested on the speak, write, read and understand english” even tho he answered everything correct but she still told him he really really failed, but another thing is she said he will receive a paper in the mail of what they still need and getting his oath of allegiance appointment??
SHE REALLY CONFUSED US
Idk what to understand from the form she handed him.
She also asked for him to give her his ticker receipt but we didn’t have it so ill be getting those today.
Ive tried calling the uscis to understand what is going on but i don’t know. 😢😢
Aww.. sorry to hear that. So i think you have to wait for the paper in the mail. It will give you instructions on what to do next. I dont know what is the ticker thing too sorry about that..
@@IndayLorayUSA he had 2 tickets from the police so she asked him for evidence that he paid them, my question is do you think he will be retested on the read/write/speak/understand English if none of them dont have a check mark?
@@_Sendos_ yeah he has to submit that. Im not sure what the officer really wanted. But you will see the reasons on the paper that they're going to mail you.
