FILM DESCRIPTION:
Jeff Bridges plays Jeff Lebowski who insists on being called "the Dude," a laid-back, easygoing burnout who happens to have the same name as a millionaire whose wife owes a lot of dangerous people a whole bunch of money -- resulting in the Dude having his rug soiled, sending him spiraling into the Los Angeles underworld.

I love how he's screaming out "The bums will always lose, Mr. Lebowski" where the Dude clarified he's not "Mr. Lebowski" and that guy screaming is revealed to actually be a bum sitting on scam money.

@HoyaSaxaSD Yes, he is a bum. His daughter, the artist, gives him an allowance, and he was involved in a scam to get more money through this foundation.

Both Lebowski’s are similar, but the wheelchair man is a hypocrite. So many in this world who put on an image and put others down to feel good about themselves. Narcissism truly is an epidemic.
@Empire of the Wolves Dude, he lives off his wifes money. Even his daughter's statement regarding supporting him shows that he's not one to talk. Its why he tries to embezzle the million dollars from the charity foundation and blame its disappearance on Lebowski.

There's a film in there somewhere (not Coen Bros) about a young man seriously wounded in Korea who rises above the adversity of his physical disability.

Always hated how he treated the dude in this scene. Man just wanted a new rug, it tied the room together and it was soiled because the old bastards wife’s debt.
Why didn't he ask Bunny who was the one in debt? It was not Mr Lebowsky's fault.
@@felipesuarez5041 if she were the kind to pay off her debts she would have done so before the start of the plot and the rug-peers would never have come looking for a lebowski in the first place. and in a community property state one spouse's debts are the responsibility of both. Dude is entitled to go after either party at his convenience.
