Ducati is so superior now it allows inferior riders to pull off winning a championship, It should still be won by race wins if your saying it’s about rider quality , we will see next year if Martin is as good as you think he is…. I think he flops now….. if it wasn’t for aspargro he wouldn’t even have a bike next year.
it was VERY short-sighted of Ducati going with an aging Marquez, who really only has another couple of years before he retires. Ducati really, really shot themselves in the proverbial foot. I also believe Martin has learnt his craft, and shows respect for other riders (unlike Marquez who's only in it for himself). Jorge Martin is the real deal, and a fantastic, well deserving champion, and I believe, he'll go on to out perform Marquez.
