Just picked up the silver version of this bad boy. Absolutely love it. Marto makes some nice stuff.
I took the bronze version for movie accuracy, but the silver one is stunning, great choice man 💪🏻

Sad that the box is pine, and so poorly made. You would think for the price, you would at least have got a dovetailed hard wood box. Love the swords, very nice for all us Conan fans!

Hard to tell as they do not offer enhanced photos, but Marto has The Bronze model and it looks just like the Special Edition you show here.

personally. I would only pay that amount on a battle ready sword. None the less, still very nice.
Sadly this sword cant be battle ready, it is just too heavy. Even Albion.

It can be sharpened. Don't be afraid.
You can try but it is very dangerous to try to cut with it.
A stainless steel breaks like glass, it doesn't bow...

@@seighta5714 Yeah I have the Windlass version and was deeply disappointed when I got it. Luckily I saved up and got the Albion Destroyer but I won't get it until next year. Worth the wait!!!

Because some people want to know the difference to get the more accurate sword from the movie's point of view.
The price difference can be worth for some people to get real bronze.
As I say, this sword is not designed to be battle ready, even the Albion one is unusable.
Soon I may review a real sword, maybe you'll prefer this one.

@@seighta5714 You can see videos from cutting tests with the windlass sword.But yes for real fighting all Conanswords are too heavy.Its a fantasyweapon.Most time in the movies Arnold used fiberglassversions of the Sword that are lightweight.;)
Hah! I'm an American... the real swords are not too heavy for us Frenchman, lol! You need a fine coat of oil or rust preventer... then it won't rust. Real things need some maintenance. Great review!

Yes real swords need maintenance.
The atlantean sword is three times the weight of a real sword, don't try to use it, you could hurt yourself, the momentum is too strong.
Real swords are not too heavy of course.
The Albion swords are just under $4k... that's how you'll know, lol. But maybe you're talking about how to tell if it's a genuine used one?
