Same here, I think we all share that love for the Atlantean sword.
It looks cool I’d love too make one if I had the skills the Dolph Lundgren He man sword from the Masters Of The Universe would be a great companion peace.
Amazing ❤ I want one
Well done! Seriously nice craftsmanship on display here!
Thankyou 🙇♂️🗡😃
That's awesome mate. Super nice video. It's a beauty. So cool to actually see it. I'll reply to your message in a while.
I do like Jeffrey stuff, and I like how your Atlanta insured is longer. I’ve been wondering if 3 to 6 inches longer, which one would’ve been better. I don’t know how I feel about your seven. It’s something I would have to handle myself. I want to have a custom-made one of each the father sword and the Atlanta insured for me and my girl.
beauty
Still in love.
Definitely take the Albion. Screen accurate with original molds.
Onde pode se comprar essa espada ??
Quanto custa uma espada dessa ??
Hello, I'm trying to repreduce it with wood for my personnal display. I'm looking for some dimensions (Atlantian sword fron the barbarian movie) still looking for some dimensions: Blade thickness, blade leingh, ricasso leingt, hilt dimensions, haldle and pommel dimensions. Thank you.
Reproduce mine or reproduce the original prop? If you look at the listing for the Albion swords official replica on Kult or Athena, they usually have a reasonably good set of measurements. The you'll need to extrapolate from those using the best photos you can find of the original props or Albions replicas. Ignore any other makes.
Thank you, what would be the URL for these sites. BTW, yours look awesome, I would take your measurements as noted above, I’m going for looks for hanging it un my man cave

The destroyer film sword has slightly different dimensions

Can you make a damascus Conan sword?
I don't do pattern welded blades but hit up Jeffrey Robinson at bronzebyjeffreyjrobinson dot com
Yeah Jeffrey Robinson has done several Atlantean style swords. I’ve never seen him make a pattern welded one before, but he has made a lot of fantastic pattern welded swords of fantasy design. If anyone can do it, he certainly can.
@@anathar8830yes I'm sure he can. But he won't want to replicate the film sculptures. He'll want to use one of his amazing original sculpture sets like the Antediluvian, the Aurochs, Dragon spear or one of his many other cool creations 🤩🗡
@@fableblades If he wants to use his original designs, I personally have no argument. I think they’re cool on their own.
I disagree that the Original blade was too short. The Atlantean sword is that of a barbarian, a short blade forces you to get right up to you enemies face to face as you impale them, see the life driven from their eyes and hear the faint wailings in their last breath as they are sent to hell!
Crom Laughs at your faint wailings 😂👿
@fableblades The Atlantian who originally owned that sword was a giant... 9 feet tall, maybe; it's not super clear in the film, since he's sitting down, but I think that was supposed to basically be a one-handed shortsword, for its original owner. Also, I talked to the Albion guys at Blade Show, years and years ago, and I believe they said that the blades were engraved using the same machine that Jody Samson used to engrave the originals. At any rate... You fellows have done an unbelievable job on those swords. Bravo! 👍👍
@@TheShurikenZone I agree. I think it is a short sword for a giant. If you look at Conan holding it, the sword's handle length is that of a bastard or great sword, because the giant's hand was huge.
Сколько стоит такой меч? И как его приобрести?
I'm sorry it's not for sale. It's my personal sword
@@fablebladeswould you be willing to make one for purchase. How much would you charge for one?
That's pretty cool BUT all you sword people... It's too short... it's too heavy... If you stood before Conan he would cut you down before Crom!
As noted I've extended the blade by 7", to 35" (46.3" overall)... and you still think it's too short? How long would you have it?
@@fableblades - You misunderstand, probably because I wasn't clear enough, lol... I'm NOT saying it's too short or heavy... I just came across yesterday that I could buy a good real replica from Windlass something for like $400. The best is Albion for just under $4k. Not really wanting to spend $400 but I really want one.
There are many shit ones around $100-$150. So while looking for people who know what's up, I ran across reviews from people who are into swords like you, which is how I know now the Windlass is the minimum worth buying.
Anyway several said same as you obviously, compared to historical swords, it's too short and too heavy, which is why I assume you made yours different... So then now hopefully my joke that even with your longer and lighter sword... you would be no match for Conan... makes more sense, lol?
