Hey looking at 4 to 5 yrs of development! Average time for a video game. Best way to figure out what is really going on is watch a youtube video on 14 days to build a UE5 video game..... Give you some insight to why it takes so long.
Oh I don't doubt that at all. If it sounded like I was complaining about the time that it was going to be in early access, that wasn't my intention. I'd much rather game devs take their time and do it right than rush and mess it up like so many have before.
