Love old trucks. I sometimes wonder if restorations like this are significantly better than they were factory new. I just can't imagine they could mass produce a paint job like that in the 50s or 60s.
Thanks for replying and I apreciate your choice of words without foul language. Our hometown Chevy store, back then, only stocked a farmer's special and a "dressed up" truck. They would find or order you what you wanted. They had alot of repeat buyers every year or two. ---WAGIII---
NOW THAT'S GORGEOUS!!!!! Make it an automatic and ship it up to me, I'll take it for a late B-day present... LOL Just curious here Jeff, do you do this for a living??? You have a multitude of great cars and trucks that you show!!!! . Merrie~Merrie
That is a fine example for that year of truck. When I was about 6 years old, I used to ride in the back of my friend's dad's truck just like that. No laws against that, back then. It was fun going to the land fill every week or two.---thanks---WagIII---
It really looks great on 50's cars and trucks...just the perfect color for that time.
I'm sure it is much nicer that it would have been originally. Thanks for taking a look!
The white on the roof really completes the color. Perfect match with the steel wheels with the white walls.
Thanks for having a look George
Thanks for taking a look my friend, I appreciate it!
I've always liked that dashboard too. Thanks for checking it out my friend!
Yep, this one does have the oil filter set up....I believe that was a dealer installed item that year. Thanks for taking a look at it.

You're exactly right, and they ended up building some of the most iconic cars and trucks from that era.
They're worth that when they are this nice. Thanks for taking a look!
Those colors always look great on those era cars!! The pictures look cool with that lighting and wet ground!!☺

Been so besy i've totalley missed this video.
Not really my color but looks mint Jeff !
Did Chevy PUs have a trim level like that on the SWB steps back then? I mean with the chrome and integrated visor or was that work custom?
I like the color on this truck, but I'm sure I wouldn't want it on my front door.

Fantastic truck but turquoise isn't my fav colour :D I had a front door that colour when I was really young and I wasn't keen on it LOL
I am a RUclips partner, so I get paid on the advertising on my videos. I don't accept any money from the dealerships that I feature though.
What color is that if you don't mind me asking?
What is the cost
when did my $500 '55 and $400 '57 truck increase to $35k!
