Hendo talked to me about potentially monetizing the PCB I designed (it's on my pad and his) but to be honest - I open sourced it for a reason. I'd absolutely love for someone different to just sell Hendo Pads as kits or full assemblies. The Nato pad is just too complicated for someone uninitiated to assemble. The more accessible we can get ITG, the better.
Also, get stronk dom. I'm a little too scared of injuring myself so I'm Summer Bike RPG instead.

I already complimented your pad on the other video. :P So I'll just say for the two new ones: HOLY! Those are some really nice designs!
The Hendo pad has a LOT of potential! Although I dunno if the center panel size being smaller makes it illegal for competition as I remember there being talk about a standard size. I guess it could be adjusted if need be though. The panels being corner to corner may also make it easier to accidentally mishit, though one could probably adjust to it. I wonder how strong it is however. I mean... I assume it's fine since it got played on and all, but longevity-wise I wonder about repeated stepping.
The Henta... Nato pad also looks really solid too, literally, as it looks like a lot of it is blocks of metal. The spacing between between panels via the mock "brackets" could help avoid mishits like regular pad brackets do (Unless you remove them to play like that of course) and dual FSRs would lead to a lot of potential customizing based on one's playing habits such as lean and form. Lights are also good for making videos and such so viewers can follow subtle movements. (Also looks cool)

Sort of side note: I tried weight lifting before. Can't' stick with it, lol! Too painful as I get DOMs........... Not Dominicks, "Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness". Basically anything painful is a no-go with me as my pain tolerance is nil to none. But it is really beneficial if one can stick to it as strength training has a lot of benefits to it.

In my experience, that terrible muscle soreness one or two days later doesn't stick around after maybe a month or so of regular lifting. I remember that being really annoying every time I started to lift but I really don't feel it much at all anymore, except for leg days. Weight lifting really shouldn't hurt much at all, even while you do it. If it does, you might be doing it wrong. When I first started I would use way to heavy weight and totally cause a lot of pain in my joints. You don't get any points for hurting yourself, so it really should be avoided. I think most newbie lifters should probably ease in a little more than "no pain no gain"-style youtubers would have you believe. Once you get acquainted with the feeling of the exercise, built that mind-muscle connection with a full range of motion that doesn't hurt your joints, then you can work on giving 'er some beans. And then give yourself plenty of recovery before you blast that muscle again. Compared to when I started, my workouts are now shorter (less volume) and are more spread out throughout the week to give myself more time to recover. When you take an approach like this, it really does become a lot easier sticking to it in the long term, IMO.

@@domitg RUclips didn't give me a notification you responded, sorry! I just thought I'd check on a whim and seen you did.
It never hurts while I'm lifting. Thus I guess I'm good on that front. Unless I've already got DOMs from lifting, of which it sets me back in getting into a routine with it as well as killing motivation.
But I could try doing shorter lifting sessions and see how it turns out. After all, I don't get very sore (if at all) from stuff like regular working. I just always heard something like that you'll only know if you did enough if your muscles feel tired and, well... Maybe that's too much if it'll stop me from sticking to it.
      Thanks for the tips!

Honestly I keep thinking back to the pdp pads and how they're not the greatest with contact sensors, but I feel like the way they're constructed I think fsr's would be great considering it's just like two pieces of material glued or velcroed together and you could just slide around on. I feel like PDP could just sandwich FSRS in-between? Idk I'm not an engineer
