Hi, is it compulsory to code the ABS module when we replace another one? Do we code it when the part numbers do not match? Or we have to code everytime we replace even if the part number match? Thanks

Where did the code come from to program the unit. Had it been previously saved in the programmer?

I doubt he is using a J box. A Jbox is only needed when flashing a module from the "cloud" or manufacturer's remote servers online.

What is coding? The term is being used extensively but no one has explained it.
If you try to code E66 BMW with that tool you will need to change the CAS Unit because will erase the data for BMW E Series you need different tool
