Sceptile... My favorite 'Mon of Ash's of All-time. The best personality of all of Ash's Aces. Reminds me of Han Solo from the original Star Wars trilogy. A character who plays by his own rules, until he learns the value of teamwork, love, and friendship through loss and heartbreak. I love his battles, especially in the Battle Frontier, once he evolved. The contest battle against Blaziken is underrated. Yes, it was a draw, but Sceptile had the edge throughout the battle. His evolution episodes were both great and unique, even though the second one didn't end up well for him... But, in the end, it made him even stronger, with help from Ash. Thanks Meganium. Yes. His victory over Darkrai is one of the best of All-time, but his other battles against legends were memorable, too. Sceptile is such a great character with a memorable personality that oozed every time he was on screen. No wonder I wrote my longest fan-fic, so far, around this guy... And put so much effort into it.
Sceptile was the 3rd of Ash's Pokemon to defeat a Legendary. Charizard and Pikachu defeated Articuno and Regice respectively. Granted, Sceptile was the 1st to defeat a Mythical but the anime, and the majority of the fanbase, treat Legendaries and Mythicals as the same thing.
@@jetguy128 Perhaps... But don't forget that Darkrai used Dream-Eater twice during their battle. Dream-Eater restores health to the user, which can imply that the damage dealt by Heracross and Gible are negligible.
Sceptile had an amazing comeback when he evolved and got his mojo back. The fact that he in his final evolved form won four fights and only lost to two legendaries speaks a lot about his fighting prowess
Grovyle was mediocre in the Hoenn League? Bull. Fucking. Shit! Remember when he went head to head with Katie's Walrein and smashed it out of the water with Leaf Blade, causing it to accidentally freeze the whole battlefield? Then he hurled Walrein, who was a much larger and heavier Pokemon, high into the air with Leaf Blade to win the battle. Also, Grovyle defeated Morrison's Steelix, who had just swept through both Pikachu and Torkoal back to back and even endured an Overheat from the latter, by literally slicing through it's DragonBreath. He had to be hit by Gligar's Guillotine, which is a OHKO move, in order to lose. Against Metagross, Grovyle was facing a fully evolved Pseudo-Legendary who also happened to be a Steel type. And that Meteor Mash smashed him headfirst into a rock. The only truly embarrassing defeat Grovyle ever had in Hoenn was when he was defeated by Juan's Luvdisc. Outside of that, he was consistently a powerhouse.
Yeah. People are way too harsh on Grovyle. Most of Ash’s regional aces are fully evolved when they get to the Pokemon league. The fact that Grovyle still in his second form was still putting up a fight and mostly winning against fully evolved Pokemon way above his level and experience was impressive
The crazy part treecko did bad in the first gym because that gym is a rock type and then in last gym I grovyle should have get a easy on that luvdisc like it was bullet seed and leaf blade
sceptile getting mega evolved in the anime was the signle happiest day of my life

Ash’s best grass type 100%
No doubt 😂
Tobias is literally just the average little timmy on Pokémon showdown when they hear about Ubers/AG
That one was only tough because he had legendary pokemon like Darcry and Latias.
From a little treecko to a sceptile that deafeated a darkari this story is so emotinal i love it. U r funny lol and u are good at story telling 😊
I really appreciate this comment I’ll keep up the videos have a great day❤️

So if we going off feats alone. Sceptile is within top three of Ash’s best Pokemon lol

@@Ilikesceptile11because it is sceptile got nothing on greninja
@@astrorizzgod he's still not stronger imo
Remember, Sceptile was also the only Pokemon to ever defeat Tobias’s Darkrai. In every other league and Gym Battle, he swept them with Darkrai.
Sceptile did not do it alone. Darkrai also took some hits from heracross and gible
