My 10yr old SONY TV 400W700B motherboard has gone bad. TCON is OK. I am planning to buy an Universal motherboard from market. Before that I found that the original SONY 51 pin LVDS FFC has SDA and SCL lines which are not there in the market's Universal boards. Could you please help if you have any idea whether the SDA and SCL are necessary. I mean is there some new technology in the Universal boards nowadays to avoid the 2 signals? In your above video I can see the LVDS cable to be same as the one from the universal board.
