Not only are Vittoria improving and expanding their current range of mountain bike tyres, they are also pioneering new technology such as adding graphene to the rubber and using 4 different compounds in combination (4C); which Vittoria say should aid traction in all conditions and improve the durability of the tyre.

Le wife: what you watchin?
Me: Vittoria's Secrets video about latex and rubber
I was thinking the same thing. Victoria's secret recipe haha
Very funny, play on Victoria Secret, very clever.Cheers
... add that it’s in Thailand at that 🇹🇭
A mountain biker's kind of latex and rubber.
So fun when a RUclips channel transcends into pro documentary. Nice work!
Thanks Doug, we try to cover a bit of everything here, from full documentary stuff to little fun how to videos. Stoked you like it! 🤟👊
@@FestivejellySo they get paid to make this cool video and you get upset because it's an "advert"?? They aren't saying these are the best tires, they aren't telling you these should be on your bike...yes, it's a marketing thing for Vittoria but GMBN is ALWAYS fair about products from everything I've seen. They are sponsored by Continental tires but still made this video...even with Continental tires they don't just say they're the best tires or that they have a tire to fit everyone's riding style...they suggest products outside of their sponsored ones all the time. They even suggest others before their sponsors.
You have no reason to be mad, you just want to make it out to seem like GMBN is just pushing products for money. They are a business with employees that need to be paid and money makes it possible for them to continue making videos for all of us that don't get butthurt over interesting videos.
This video is much more "quality" than usually. I like it :)
Just what I was thinking.

Specifically, a paid promotion, as identified in the beginning of the video in the lower left.
The most techy GMBN video i've ever watched
But it's a GMBN Tech video!
Hope you liked it Chris! 👍
@@gmbntech Oh yeah. Its so much to take in. I didnt know too much about these vittoria mtb tyres but its great to see how much work is going into them.
I ride for Vittoria and I can honestly say they are one of the best tyres I’ve ever used

@@gmbntech Do you own a titanium gravel bike? Just asking as i thought I'd seen you riding near the Chesterfield canal 🤣 my eyes aren't good so i never shouted OI! 🇬🇧 🙏
I ride with Vittoria Barzos front and rear. Great tyres and they look cool with the grey side walls. Really interesting to see how they're made.
such educational, love it! Cheers Doddy!
Thanks Dario 🤟
It is cool seeing the tire you run be made
Just watched this because I have just bought a new bike & it comes with Vittoria Mazza tyres on it. Great vid Doddy!
After a visit with my school to Fort Dunlop in the '70s, I became aware of the science that went into making quality tyres. This is next-level!
Congratulations on an extremely well-presented and fascinating look at one of the cycling tyre manufacturing leaders. I loved it!
Thanks, it's great to hear positive feedback! 👍
Excellent video Doddy. And tan walls to boot! Cheers
Finally know how my tires are made, thanks! Much love to vittoria and ofcours to gmbn tech
insane my next set of enduro tyres are vittoria for sure
After watching all of these steps, I might need to quit complaining about paying $80 for a tire.
thats where you are wrong, everyone should be complaining for these overprised products
Especially if the incredibly skilled tire maker gets paid what she deserves.
justin I payed $120 for my tires
julian lobato hopefully. It’s always a concern that employees get paid a proper wage . I’d rather pay extra knowing that employees are being treated right .
There should be identification on product packaging indicating how employees are treated. Just a simple 1-4 number.
There are too many companies that exploit their employees and there should be some easy transparency method to inform the public how employees are being treated by companies across the board on all various industries.
Sazan Hajredini how do you know they are overpriced ? Do you understand the cost of running a business. The expense of securing a building, the necessary machines and cost of materials to create the products and the cost of labor and proper benefits for them .
And taxes that a business has to pay .
Bottom line is for example after watching this particular video I understand why these tires could cost more than the average tire available that is not produced by such standards and likely produced exploiting the labor force and violating basic environmental standards if they even exist in various countries.
Of course there are industries and many companies that do charge inflated prices. Pharmaceutical companies to the clothing industry to cell phone companies companies that exploit labor and the environment strictly for profit.
I've only ever had good things to say about Vittoria. Their expensive road tubulars are absolutely fantastic tyres.
As a photographer who worked in television production I could see Doddy as a program presenter on any of the big five television channels!
Nice work Doddy .I enjoyed that .
@9:07 Love how us MTB junkies are repulsed by road biking! 😁😃
Now this was REALLY INTERESTING
THANK YOU TIRE MAKERS! Great video
My new bike came with Vittoria tyres on and having read up on them it was great to see just how they do it.
Can you compare the different tread types and how putting them on front or back effects them. #askGMBN
Very educational, even for a promotional video.
Love my mezcals for the summer.
Thanks! 🤟 We're never told what to say and always have control over what goes into a video as well as the final result. We think Doddy did a fantastic job with this video and dug deep into areas less geeky people may have missed!
This is like How Its Made for bikes, great idea! Would love to see more of this for other bike parts.
What a great video! Technology like that is what puts a company like Vittoria on top!
Great video Doddy, I've been on mota + martello for the last year now and they're just so good. Loved the human part of putting these tyres together. Just amazing.
Thank you Doddy to take us for the visit of this tyres production plan.
It's always interesting to see how the R&D is moving ahead to bring a quality product :-)
I have worked in rubber product and i know how much rubber is unstable and touchy
A big WoW to this plan .. Love the video
As always .. Keep the good work .. Cheers !!
14:26 “Now this is absolutely astonishing to see firsthand...” Nice tush :)
What an amazing video. Good presentation i must say. What a clean factory as well. Shine a light in flight!
Such a high quality video reminded me of the how it’s made tv show that was on a couple of years ago
Doddy really geeked out in this video
Wow! Just WOW! Will be looking at the tyres with a fresh eye now! Thank you for a perfect explanation and a good walkthrough, which is deep enough to fit to a reasonable video length. Doddy your presenting skills are really next level here. Thanks again. Will buy some Vittoria tyres for sure!
Great video! Amazing to see the huge amount of tech and skill that's involved in making tyres!
Funny, I just installed a Mazza on the rear of my bike and noticed on the side wall: 'Made in Thailand'. I lived there about 20 years ago when I taught English and Math for a few years and remember being shown Rubber trees in a province which was new to me.
I also did a little MTB'ing in the far North - Chiang Rai - mainly fire roads. You're never too far from food there, in the middle of the jungle there was a small Mom and Pop stir-fry shop where we stopped to refuel!...LOL. Great times!!
Wow, brilliant vid lads 🤘🏻
Awesome tyres, been running them for a year, pure quality!
I live here in Thailand, and this video is very educational because this thought me how tires are made and that vittoria tyres are produced in Thailand, Nice work Doddy!
Holy crap! What an awesome video! This was just epic! Great content all the time. Thanks!
Awesome tour....super detailed. I love this sorta stuff.
comparing this to the way how first tires were done years ago... we are in completely new era. Unbelievable. Thanks for sharing guys
Awesome story. The Bike Networks do a great job with all this stuff. So much to learn and you guys do a great job teaching us!
Well done Dotty, well done. Hope to see more videos like this!
Thanks Doddy great video!
Dude! Best episode! I love to see the in depth tech of a tires.
Thanks Doddy!!
Another great one Doddy! Love this stuff!
WOW!!! Thanks for the vid!!
Great video Doddy 👍👍. Super interesting to see how much work goes into something as seemingly simple as a tyre.
Thanks Scott! 🤟
Great Video... Doddy is becoming a class act as a presenter, really well narrated and explained. I've not really looked as Vittoria tyres before either and I will do now.
Great video. Thank you. Learn something every day.
DUDE! this video is spectacularly done!
Great video Doddy.
You looked giddy walking through the factory seeing all that tech.
That was totally absorbing and fascinating. Loved it
Wow! That's pretty sweet to see how these tires are handmade and still have such amazing technology built in to them! I think I'll try Vittoria for my next set of tires!
Love your tec show it’s nice to have a small community that geeks out about tec. and this one was a def favorite.
Thanks that's awesome to hear! 👍
That was pretty cool, thanks for documenting this! Also that laser aligning rotating machine is awesome and incredibly sketching looking at the same time.
I wanted to see all the puncturing tools used!
Stunning, really want to try these!
I use Vittoria on my road bike and they are the best rolling smoothest tire that I have used thus far. I am sticking with them .
Incredible collab
I really like the casing on the Vitoria tires, I’ve been running several different models for xc, and I’m considering running them for enduro as well 👍👌
I think that this one of best videos you guys ever made. Especially, some of the more detailed facts about the materials were great.
Thanks! Really appreciate that👍
Really interesting, nice job Doddy!
Cool video, I really enjoyed it.
This looks promising, seems like they got proper quality testing, great factory. Awesome factory tour.
Right on Doddy, you covered all the important bits and made it very very interesting and informative - Think I'll order a new pair of Vittoria's :). Love to see some more 'How it's Made' videos - Thanks, and keep up the great work!
Love my 27.5X2.6 Mezcal 4 compound tires on my 2018 Spectral! Rolling greatly improved over OE DHF and they are excellent for trails, leaves, all types of dirt and even rocks, very durable so far, wear seems to be VERY good so far
A most excellent video! Not sure how or when in my riding life that Vittoria became my brand. Of the six bikes in my possession, five are using Vittoria tires. My vintage race bike which is using a 21mm Rally tubular on rims that I laced myself. Next is my new road bike which is using a 25mm Rubino clincher. Moving up to my town bike on 26x1.75 Adventure. Then my 29er with Mezcal 2.1’s which has graphine. Finally my fat bike with a massive 5 inch Cannoli. I am rebuilding a vintage bike to be my cargo bike, not sure what tire it will end up with but I have a sneaky feeling it will be a Vittoria. From 21 mm to 127 mm and 100 to 8 psi! Well done Vittoria! Well done GMBN Tech!
That was awesome and will be checking out tyres for mine 👌🏻
Very well done video!
Loved this!
absolutely brilliant tech vlog !!
Nice I used to have a pair of Vittoria's on my old 26"er they were only skinny but the cambered grass grip they had were very impressive.
Thanks for the content !
That was Awesome!
My new bike comes with Vittoria Barzo tires. Can't wait to try it out the coming weekend!
That clip looking over the factory floor from the railing is a winner
Thanks for the great content!
This was actually really good , who would have thought finding how a Tyre is made could be so interesting
wow .. that's educational video.. precision machine combine with skill workers equal to quality product
I have Vittoria Agarro that I’ve been using for 8 months. They’re not 4C but graphene 2.0. I love them although they’re prone to puncture so often. Anyway, Stans always saves the day.
Awesome video, my best set of tires ever: barzo front + mezcal rear
Incredible!!!
Amazing really how it comes together as a tyre like it does at the end.
Awesome video.
So much detail in the vid, awesome 😊 , gotta get myself one of those handheld duro meters. 🤘
Love stuff like this. Doddy your in your eliment !!!!!!
Great video, learned new things!
Very cool!
Great vídeo. Congrats. Regards from Porto City, Portugal. ✌🏼🇵🇹✊🏼

Very very interesting!! Great video!
Awesome!
Best video ever.
Never heard of them lol
Please do more of these techy tech Videos
Never heard of them??? 😲
Amazing video, so damn interesting to watch! Thank you very much. Long live MTB XC ... in combination with good tires.
Very cool and nice to see. I used to make vulcanised rubber moulds so I can imagine the amazing smell in there lol. I've always been a Maxxis man but I've been very tempted to give the Vittoria tyres a go I hear good things about them.
Amazing
Freaking cool video!
Brilliant
Excelente video, saludos desde Medellín Colombia!
