Or have it on longer than just one day, because I seriously think this could be a semi-popular mode since it forces you to rethink how you achieve Elims and where you must be. Also, many existing games get tense - this should both be challenging AND funny.

Video idea.. everytime some gets a elimination they teleport to a different spot on the map.

I have an idea, every Elim you switch heroes. Like one moment you have a Winston, next moment you've got a zen three miles into enemy territory
IDEA: When you die, you respawn with ult. You cannot get ult charge otherwise (RIP baby DVa)
I'm surprised no one went live weaver to pull them out of emotes

this would be great if players had to use a random emote every time, so you could get longer and shorter emotes randomly
Everytime you use ult, your hero changes (same role if possible). Kinda like mystery heroes or gun game in CoD. So if you like your hero, better jump off the rialto bridge to keep it.
The best part of this series is seeing emongg's reaction to cactuspuppy and trollski's wacky game modes

Game mode idea: Every time you take a lethal hit, you survive with 1 hp and become immune for a little while to make sure you don't die immediately. Basically you have an extra life. Once you die a second time, it resets obviously. Kinda like a kill confirmed mode.
Not sure if it's possible in the workshop, but this could lead to some interesting gameplay, especially the immunity part.

This reminds me of a custom game I played once where emotes were used to kill. If you emote, anyone within like 10 meters or so would die.
Strat to stay near drops or play flying heroes/vertical abilities since you can't emote in midair

Is it possible for the trigger to be time based instead of elims?
Reaper doesnt emote after ulting because (as far as I understand it) you've set it to trigger after moving once after getting a final blow, however that input can be given while reaper is moving in his ult and since reaper cant emote in his ult, it just throws away the input.
I'm unsure what causes them to not have to emote, but there is code that should prevent this. When getting a kill, the Gamemode will constantly force you to press emote up and wont stop until you are officially emoting. The moving thing is just a byproduct of me forcing them to stop moving.
On the bright side, at least this game mode gives people a reason to use souvenirs

Why wouldn't you make a team with Rein, Torb, Symm, Mercy, LW? Rein could protect the turrets and emoting teammates, Torb's turret is active even without him so if he emotes it doesn't matter, Symm's turrets work the same but her ult can save her emoting teammates as well (maybe they can still use her tele while emoting?), Mercy would never get an elim so you always have a support to protect emoting teammates, and LW can pull the teammates out of emote/danger.
Illari would also be good because she can heal while emoting thanks to her turret
