Love it, Can’t wait for part 2! You have such a positive and good way of teaching! Jacob is so smart and knowledgeable for his age! He’s gonna be a great mechanic someday! God bless you and the family Tall John!
Hey TheGingerViking been a min looked over at your page said I wasn't subbed. What the heck so I checked and things I thumbed up were still up so don't know what happened hope all is well!
@@talljohnsfunshop2722 Hey, thank you for the sub! Trying to bring a little bit of the history to life! I have been doing well despite all the craziness that has happened. Sadly my grandfather got diagnosed with an advance form of lymphoma, he didn’t make it. So it’s been a struggle to get to a new normal. I’ve been diving into working on my 1969 Plymouth Belvedere (4 door) and trying to it back on the road. I believe I may have mentioned it to you! I really enjoyed your timing videos too and the carb one too! Really happy to see you can Jacob back out there monkeying around under the hood.
I love the idea of a 390 carb. Best atomization and homogeneous mix. It will run as a champ. On the cam, maximum 214 degrees is what I wish, improving lift better than duration. And cleaning ports and unshrouding valves
It's been a while, but I'm catching up on much of what I missed on You Tube as I've not been as active onit as I've liked to have been. So nice to see you & Jacob continuing on with all the cool projects! That 440 D-100 is a nice find!
Thanks Tony for following. This is my third tin grill. My first one I sold to a friend and he still has it and my second will be on the channel soon. You can see it on the bringing home 1968 plymouth road runner vid.
Those trucks are awsome trucks an hard to find rare trucks jus like you say ! I only seen one similar one in person an it had a 400 big block all original an was original black an yellow colour an i think it was like a camper special adventurer model . I will be following an looking forward to this project of yours!! You may have to speak a little louder when trucks running or windy as you have a soft voice , no problem hearing your boy 👍
Thanks Darren for following along. And thanks for the input on the volume. It always sounds great when ya edit so I'm gonna have to do better. I don't know how rare these trucks are but I heard around 250 for the 440 in the 1/2 ton. This truck is a adventurer SE.
Excellent! Been waiting on a truck update. If anyone wants an SP2P, I have 3-4 for sale. Thanks for sharing, Tall John!
That's a great project! Thanks for sharing!

That is just a great old classic truck. That’s a keeper !!!
I hope it's nothing major man. Sure do like watching you fix up my old truck though. I'm glad your taking care of it.

Great advice right there. I'm going to try several different carbs eventually when the combo is complete but the 390 I hope is the winner.
