That new windshield is gonna change things like may drive ta places like Arkansas 👍 it'll be fun to keep making improvements like make it more like the coronet the way you have it.....someday
Pretty nice job I usually just do a leak down test and I have a few spare big block heads...thats how my 71 383 ended up with 452 heads the 906s all had sunken seats. Merry Christmas 🎄 and have a happy New Year 🌟.
Nice job fellas!!! Lot of work to take it apart and put it back together. The neutral start reminded me of a lot of mid-intersection stalls in Dad's 76 big block Ramcharger - it always started in neutral for me, even in moving traffic :)
Do you have a video on how much timing curve your engine wants and when it wants it all in. I need some help on this matter. Thanks and Merry Christmas! 🎄🌟
Hey Lighting Mike there is a video for total timing witch is your initial plus centrifugal. The thumb nail looks like a receipt. The title is total timing pt.2 And for initial and vacuum the vid is call the proper initial and vacuum. As far as when to have it in the vid is coming soon. Thanks for checking us out.
Wow! That sounded nice start up. Gotta' ask if you used any gaskets between the intake and heads, besides the body pan and some goopular? I think I over did it... Do you remember the head gasket you used? Thickness. 'Just asking. Thank you.😎
No gasket just the pan. I put a thin piece of sheet metal across the heat riser passage. The head gasket is just a felpro standard. I believe it's. 035 but I'm not sure.
Hey John, I’ve just bought my first truck an 1985 Dodge Ram with the 318 in it, up to the coil there is power but will not spark. any tips or place I could contact you for help,?

You are absolutely improving that truck in every way! It’ll feel like a new rig when the windshield gets in.

Hey John, did you work out it was No. 3 by looking at the spark plug? Good vid mate
Thanks peckerwood. No it was by pulling wires out of the cap till it didn't make a change.

I MISS YOUR FACE!!!
Is that a pretty thermoquad?
No it's a street demon. It's a good working carb. I did take it off and put a thermoquad back on it, more for milage. That's a future vid.
Tall John has found it.
Yesssss.....thanks, John, for watching

That exhaust valve seat was okay?!
Haha yes. What's funny is that cylinder has the highest compression than the rest. 125 to 130 all the way around and that one is 135.
🤯✔️
It's a Dodge.
