I do similar in the local harbour. Very small sabikis to catch small pollock then get my bigger rod out with one pollock hooked on as live bait under a bubble float. Caught some awesome Bass this way.

Nice one Gary! Nice Flounder too. I've got the same Vacuum sealer - good bit of kit for bait & food, keeps the freezer burn at bay! Been away for a month with no internet, managed to bring Covid back, so on a massive RUclips catch up! Stay safe & well! 🎣🎣👍👍
Thanks, yeah they're canny good for bait. A month without Internet I don't think i would be be able to manage that haha. Hopefully you get over the covid soon mate take care 🎣
Hay Gary love your channel I watch other uk channels yours is so much better as you don’t mind telling your viewers about where you fish you’ve got me hooked💎💎💎💎💎💎
Gary have you noticed all of the mullet right in on the left hand side along the pier? Been trying to catch one for a week now. So frustrating when you can see them literally on the surface. Tight lines mate.
I havent seen them but I've seen a few people mention them on Facebook they said they were in the tyne aswell. I will have to have a look for them and try and catch one it would be great to catch a mullet around here. Have you tried free lining bread for them? I read somewhere a mep with a stinger hook and small ragworm work well for them. Tight lines mate.
Are you just dropping it in, or casting out?? Never caught sand eels, but I’m not sure if I can with the water near me being full of pollock roaming about! Unless it’s mackerel season, the only fish you really can catch is Pollock, or at least in my experience!
Hi Gary, lovely upload, informative, as always, nice to see you back on the pier, kind regards, Mike, Norfolk.
Hi Mike, thanks 👍

Yeah that's a good place aswell. I havent caught a pike before I'll have to have a go for one sometime.
What size sabikis and will they work for mackerel
They are size 6, yes they work for mackerel I had a few on them last year.
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Enjoyed that mate good stuff 👍
Thanks mate 👍
I remember watching a giant wave go straight over the north pier, across the harbour entrance, and break over the south pier.
Are Texas rigs any good for pollack fishing in the rocky areas along the coast?
Yes, they should work well for pollack.
What size hooks do you use for sandeels?
I usually use a size 6 but the smaller the better.
Either you're really small, or that TV is absolutely massive like. Great video as always :)
Thanks Shaun. 👍
