Happy Father's Day George. It'll be difficult for Jess to remain sad doing her favorite thing, on a beautiful day, with her man

Thank you! We had a great day. She got a little emotional when she FaceTimed with her dad at the beach but we knew it was coming. Longer form video in the works :-)

    Hi George,
Happy Father’s Day! Just a friendly piece of feedback: adjust the audio gain on your microphone. I see you're using a Rode Go II. Lower the gain until the audio levels are green. You'll also need to adjust this depending on the activity. For example, while riding, your gain should be set to X, but for outdoor walking, it might need to be different. It can be tedious, but once you know the correct level for each activity, your audio quality will be amazing.
    Take care

Juneteenth day here in Pittsburgh today all government offices closed but I have to work, it's not fair. Construction and traffic everywhere, you can't escape it no matter where you want to go. The News channels are going nutz over the heatwave starting today. To be honest I would rather be anywhere other than Pittsburgh right now. I had a good Father's day, I got almost 100 miles on the bike. My daughter only lives approximately 30 miles from me and she didn't come to spend time with me either. I did get a text Father's day card but I would rather have spent time with her. People don't really talk face to face anymore which is another thing I hate about cell phones. Changing the subject, why is Jessica wearing full fingered gloves? Isn't there a heatwave in your region too?

Hey thanks, I totally forgot today is a holiday! I work today too, but maybe it will be a little slower than a normal Monday at the pharmacy!? Since moving to one of the skin cancer capitols of the world, I've become a nut about sun protection and rarely wear anything but long fingered gloves. I even spray the tops of my hands with sunblock before pulling the gloves on because I've noticed a small bit of sun still gets through this particular glove model. The ones I'm wearing here are very lightweight and I honestly didn't feel like my hands were overheating at any point. We stuck right to the coast for this Father's Day ride, and where the temps are consistently 10-15 degrees (if not more!) cooler than the rest:). G & I will be visiting my fam for 2 weeks this august, we're bringing bikes of course so hit us up if you'd like to take us for a local spin!! I want to show George Ohiopyle & stuff... and want to hop on a Pittsburgh Major Taylor Cycling Club ride or 2... really excited to see mom, dad, and sis too :)_.

We, Jess and I, always wear full fingered gloves, and sun sleeves in a variety of colors. The gloves are super thin and when moving fast enough you don't feel the heat at all in fact I would say I feel cooler fully covered than exposed to the sun.
