I still clearly remember the first time I heard KOL. Driving home from work. Hearing Caleb's voice was such an experience. It was sex of fire(yes quite late to the party) and could not wait for the song to end so that the dj could say who it was but also not wanting the song to end. And that was it. Have not missed out buying an album and obviously got the ones before Only by the night. Manhattan turned out to be my fave of theirs. So glad I got to see then here in South Africa. Hope we get that chance again one day.

I've always try not to cry to this song but fail miserably. As further as it goes, deeper it hits. A flood of emotions. Lots of sorrow, love and pain.
[Verse 1]
Rake at the moon where the river flows
Cut from the cloth of the winter's cold
Bound by the voice that no one hears
I've been around in a way for years
Stray from the hear the more that you know
All gussied up with no place to go
Table side the one of your dreams
Get what you want not what you need
[Verse 2]
Parlor games and 6 o'clock news
Hands of a stranger touching you
Wide awake incased in a dream
Everything is not as it seems
All your time is heaven sent
Days and the nights all start to blend
It's not like this town to set you free
The more you look the less you see
[Chorus]
The tables set the rose is out
You know what it is
Miles away from places you have been
The call was made to pull the shades
The start of something new
Still nothing makes me feel the way
You do, you do, you do, you do
You do, you do, you do, you do
You do, you do, you do, you do
You do, you do, you do, you do
[Verse 3]
The ones they say have come here before
All gather 'round in the corridor
Try as I might I can't place your name
I know the face that I can't explain
In my mind you're everything
Lips don't move but voices still ring
The light inside has lost its glow
The more you see the less you know
[Chorus]
The tables set the rose is out
You know what it is
Miles away from places you have been
The call was made to pull the shades
The start of something new
Still nothing makes me feel the way
You do, you do, you do, you do
You do, you do, you do, you do
You do, you do, you do, you do
You do, you do, you do, you do
[Bridge]
The seasons change
My mind erased
The stars all fade
But one remains the same
You do, you do, you do, you do
You do, you do, you do, you do
[Outro]
Must I your grace
Unveil the face
Only to say
Nothing takes the place
Couple of errors
Thanks alot for this 🔥

Yes !!! The boys are back !!! Much love from uk 🇬🇧
I remember going thru every little 20 sec. teaser-sample before the album was released feeling like I was gonna die if they didn't hurry and release ALL these songs! I have such a strong connection with this band I've been a fan since "Youth and Young Manhood" and just and these guys have grown with age and life experience and during the darkest time in my life it seemed that their songs were being some directly to me like they knew my situation and exactly what to say in their music to keep me moving forward and help me get through those times and I'm not an indie music fan I just like good music that is made from the soul with real feeling and true life experiences and I don't feel there are many bands out there today that Encompass that as well as Kings of Leon
-call me a Superfan till the day I die if you like at one point I could never have been a cornerstone now I've got through it all with a family and a handle all my responsibilities and on the weekends I get all gussied up with no place to go and end up staying at the house watching movies and playing with my little boy so glad they didn't bury all the pictures and tell the kids that I was okay because the powers-that-be had a plan for me...
they have come back to us
This is there with the best of kol can’t wait for the new music from one of the best in the world
hearing this new music literally brings tears to my eyes .. KOL fan since the beginning and not one song every disappoints.. Just when you think you have a favorite song, bam they hit you with another .. Thank you and I can't wait to see you guys in concert !!
Such a strait vibe, I would be just listening to this while driving down the road on a nice cloudy day in the English countryside, and everything’s all green and nice ☺️
Desde México 🇲🇽

Seee! 👌✨
No entiendo cómo está increíble banda no esté volando las reproducciones, esto de verdad te transporta. Los amo chicos, bravo por su talento
This band took my love for music to another level, ive grown up listening them since middle school. They always find a way to keep crushing it with every release, music made for the soul. Their music is where ive gone for the best to the toughest moments in my life.
THIS HAS BEEN ON REPEAT FOR 2 DAYS
KOL
Very smartly done. The bandit is the formulaic hook. This is pure sophistication!
Theres not bad song from you, always makes songs that give peace in my soul
Man you guys made my day.
It's 4:00am and I'm just crying over here listening to this beautiful song.
I love it ♥️ México 🇲🇽 presente!!!
Still sounding awesome. Can't wait for the next tour.
"Still nothing makes me feel the way you do...." Es así!!! Tan feliz de que tengamos material nuevo de KOL,❤️ tanta espera valió la pena!!
This song makes me cry now when I listen to it.
3rd listen, this is great.
6th listen, oh wow they are back.
10th listen, after reading about the lyrics, “oh my god they are masters of songwriting “
Loving this song. Getting some Beach House vibes with the synths throughout. Can't wait for the record!
yes!!!
Best song on the album. Positive vibes out there so that 100K PEOPLE wins the Grammy award next year. Fully deserved. KOL you just saved me from suicide when I lost 11 of my family to c19 pandemic overseas. You give me everlasting peace.
I've waited so long for new KOL 😍
Asked Spotify to play Kings of Leon tonight on a whim (in a I need to hear KOL moment) and I was blessed with sweet sounds of new music. And it felt like home. With a fresh rearranging of furniture. Y'all in the comments are my people. I love that everyone's loving the new tunes. So good to hear from them again.
The clip they put out definitely doesn't justify how good this is! Just get better with age.
My thoughts exactly! The "you do, you do" part sounded tedious on it's own, but really fits here in my opinion.
My thoughts exactly
@@kp-rv3ui thats what I thought! I expected to like this one the least and now I think it will be my favourite off the full album
Unbearably beautiful and haunting love song, one of their best

Love this entire album. Took my 16yr old son to his first concert to see them over the summer outside of Boston. Truly an amazing experience & show!! This is both our favorite song (currently)
on this album. Great minds do think a like i guess
I love it! It reminds me of ARIZONA on BECAUSE OF THE TIMES. The lyrics are great, amazing song...
Amazing Music. 💙
I cried when the synth started kicking in, beautiful song for 2021
WOW! What else can I say, but WOW! I simply LOVE this song! I can't stop listening to it.
HUGE KOL fan from youth to by the night. I came around to come around sundown. Their album's post didn't interest me much, aside from a few songs. This is what I needed.
My hope that this is going to be a good year, thank you for coming back in this times.
Man, this is so beautiful. I can't believe how much I love this song already!!
