What a fucking beautiful sound... I can't believe I'm still dumbfounded by my love for this band even after all these years. Growing up with this band has been one of the best highlights of my life

All of their songs remind me of the best moments of my life... Hands down the best band ever.
They will forever be a band that will stay in my soul. I have so many happy memories of growing up with their music from sitting on my middle school bus every morning to driving to hockey games with my dad blasting their cds.

Found this band by accident on Netflix, it was a movie called Talihina Sky back in 2011 And at 67 years old, they're one of my top 10 bands of all time!!
You should see them in concert...BEST live show I've ever been to. Phenomenal

@@loskleinos25 Most of what was on "Because of the Times" Everything on "Only by the Night" and "Come Around Sundown" After that i kind of lost touch with the band, but those 3 Mentioned Albums, were as good as anything i'd heard from a group! Being a drummer, Nathan came up with some, unique grooves and fills, that makes him a great rock drummer! For me he really stands out! The other band i got into a few years before and up until 2010 was The Derek Trucks Band!! They were my favorite live act to go see. The only band member or Trucks band i didn't care for was his drummer. Way too busy and played as if he was alone in his practice room. I never got it why Trucks kept him around so long. To me though Derek is the most unique guitar out there the past 20 years. Even the band with his wife is a great live act, in which i'm always happiest when she leaves the stage, and or sits on an amp and gets out of the way, during the jams!
Youth & Young Manhood and Aha Shake Heartbreak are head and shoulders above anything else they've done. Amazed to hear they're one of your favourite bands without a mention of their best work

Wow, we have almost the exact same story! My mom passed at 37, I was 14 at the time. It’s been almost 16 years. Linkin Park helped in the first few years until I discovered Kings of Leon a couple of years later and ever since then (I think it was 2008) their music just helped me process and heal! ❤️

I think for all us KOL fans, this song even more than The Bandit feels like the band washing away all the horrible things that have happened in the world lately. I know it’s not the case but there’s a warmth in this song that I can’t explain. Calebs voice has never sounded better. Can’t wait for the rest of the album!

I've always try not to cry to this song but fail miserably. As further as it goes, deeper it hits. A flood of emotions. Lots of sorrow, love and pain.

I 1st came across KOL one night when they performed Use Somebody on the old Conan show.. I was dumbstruck by how beautiful the song was..having never heard if the band before.. Caleb stood before the mic.. eyes closed singing his heart out with the sweetest sexiest saddest voice.. the next day I ordered every cd they had put out.. now at 70 years old I look forward to seeing them live again at the Hollywood Bowl for the 4th time.. they only better..

Most band lose their signature sound and the identity which they are born with but, with KOL after a long silence they remain the same. They retain the sound we all love, the sound which engraved them in our soul.

This and the other single from the next album are easily proof positive as to why KOL remains one of my favorite bands to come out of the last 15-20 years. I have a feeling that, if these guys aren't already the living legends of tomorrow, they are well on their way. And even then, there's no doubt that if no breakups or deaths occurs, they'll still be turning out good new music in their advancing years. And with that said, I'll be damned if March 5th can't get here fast enough!
