And I just have to say that your channel is a breath of fresh air compared to all the other gamer channels out there. The whole puppet premise is extremely rare, and I can't say I remember seeing another gaming channel do it. And the best part is that it works and it makes for incredibly entertaining videos. Whenever people say Kratos is the coolest guy they know, and think no one else could possibly beat him, I slowly stand up, take a deep breath... And remind them that a short knight with a shovel defeated Kratos in battle. Shovels are Kratos' one weakness.
I turn my screen brightness all the way and put the ipod right up to my eyes so I can see Arlo while I go to sleep. It's the only way I can feel safe at night.
I'm guessing he didn't notice it. After all, it's easy to forget how small the fan base for Monster Hunter is. It's kind of sad to be honest. That such a well polished series, has to work so hard to get people to notice it.
ComboSloth doesn't have enough story, call of duty, sexy ladies I guess. Not to mention people can get mixed feelings on Capcom and then you have the people who ignore Nintendo games entirely, and the people who ignore things that don't have the greatest graphics and people who don't follow things that aren't a huge deal. Hopefully with a return to home consoles and better graphics and mechanics MH will start to get the wester recognition it deserves.

Skull&Bones, for those that care to know, will not have on-land exploration and sword fighting... it is confirmed that, while you can see crew members doing things on your ship, you are actually playing as the ship itself... which I think is just as cool and helps seperate it from Sea of Thieves a lot. There will probably be npc encounters to enjoy, but outside of those the game will primarily be a tactical ship pvp game so I don't see any chance it can be played offline. Also for Days Gone, the unique gameplay it is offering is that you can trick zombie hordes into doing things that are helpful to you making zombies an optional tool to be used rather than just scary enemies to gun down... and to help with that the zombie hordes are a random environmental element similar to weather so they are not always around to use when they might be handy.

The thing to consider and remember about Xbox and exclusives is that Microsoft considers Windows 10 a part of the Xbox ecosystem: To them, a game only available on the Windows 10 store and Xbox one *is* an xbox exclusive. Which is a good thing for consumers, at it means you don't need to buy their console to play their games.

My guess with why Spiderman was the finale game for Sony was that it's being made by the same dev team behind the Ratchet and Clank games (Insomniac), which are still a relevant flagship IP for Sony, so it would make sense to give one of their primary developers a major spotlight.
The reason the Spider-Man was last, was that it's a Sony property. Homecoming is about to come out, so hyping the Spider-Man brand is profitable in more ways than one, and I'm sure they were "encouraged" by other branches of Sony.

I'm actually kind of surprised you liked Sony's conference so much! When my bro and I watched, theirs felt like the weakest to us! It started off fine, but the VR stuff lost our interest since we don't have a particular interest there, and even if we did, there's the price gate to consider. My bro's a big fan of Final Fantasy 15, but the fishing mini-game is his least favorite part. You can imagine how disheartening it was to see an entire game dedicated to that. After the VR stuff, it felt like everything slowed down, and nothing felt all of that impressive. And when they ended on Spider-Man, all either of us could say is "this is just an Arkham game!" I am glad you liked their presentation. Maybe it was just a difference of whether or not the game content interests the viewer? If that's all it takes to make a difference, maybe they'll have something good for me next time around. Also, I didn't realize you could clap. I would've expected it to sound a lot fluffier.
Something to note about Doom VFR, Fallout 4 VR, and Skyrim VR: They are not free updates. You have to pay full price again just to get VR mode. That alone is incredibly stupid since every other game that got a VR mode got it in a free update.
I take my hat off for you. You almost made me consider buy a Xbox or PS, something no one else has, great job. You sold me more PS and XBox games than their fans and developers did. I've never heard of "A Way Out" but after e3 I got really hype for it. I started gaming with sitting on the couch with my brother and now I want to go back to that way of playing cause it's honestly the best way to play games.
I beg your pardon Arlo, but I have stared at the vanilla Skyrim for well over 1000 hours playing it and modding it and if that Switch version is the vanilla 360 version then I'm the queen of England. The lighting is definitely Special Edition as is the grass density, LOD detail, grass draw distance, and I do believe the texture quality is somewhere in between. Some effects are scaled back like the godrays but that's about it. It's the Special Edition trimmed back.
Nuvendil Anyone who played Skyrim on PC should knows Switch version looks like medium settings or something close to that. PS3/360 versions looks basically like low settings Skyrim on PC but take in mind, PS3/360 are 2006 systems so expecting them to running a 2011 game in high settings for example was too much. It's most likely Legendary edition

Spider-Man was actually the game I was most impressed by. It looks fun, and I love how often the environment is used in combat. It kinda reminds me a little bit of the Arkham series, but less bleak and depressing.

Why does every e3 recap I watch never talk about Monster Hunter World?? I highly suggest looking into it. I started in 2016 and it has become my favorite franchise in capcom history, if not EVER.
At first I had the same opinion as you on Sony Arlo but then I realized based on what many said that this was basically Sony E3 Conference 2016 part 2. 90% of the games shown were what was already shown last year making me realize I was being a bit too generous. Even if they did a great job at keeping talking to a minimum and giving game after game it doesn't change that they were mostly games shown last year. ;0
FYI, Call of Duty uses 3 development teams, so the WWII game has been in development for 3 years, making it almost impossible for it to be a response to Battlefield 1. I'm not a CoD fan, but just thought you should know. I enjoy your content! Keep it up :)
I'm super stoked for Crew 2. I've only put 30 hours into the first game, but I've been excited for what a sequel could do. I was hoping for a different map than just the USA again, but adding in boats and planes is good enough for me. Just playing the Crew 1 now and thinking of all the fun stuff I could do if those vehicles were in it. I watched the gameplay Ubisoft uploaded and loved that they seemed to be trying to have more fun with the tracks and that you can switch between land, sea, and air with the press of a button. Crew 1 always felt, to me anyway, like a realistic racing game with some small hints of wanting to be more arcadey (the various car parks scattered around the map to do tricks in and mess around along with the Grand Canyon jump). It's nice to see that they might be trying to lean more arcadey without sacrificing the more "realistic" parts of it.
I liked this video Arlo. Hopefully you'll do another other guys video next E3. Although with all these new games they just announced, I doubt next E3 will be that eventful.
Ever notice that Playstation and X-Box really seem to have this "where one screws up, the other excels" sort of thing going on? Like when the X-Box One came out, it was basically impossible to share games from consoles, but easy for the playstation . Now this year, Mircrosoft is giving us a lot of backwards compatibility, where as Sony basically told us we were stupid for wanting to play our old games.
I was rather dissapointed by the other guys... the only games that looked kind of interresting to me was spiderman, anthem, monster hunter and that jailbreak game .-.
I know you showed it a couple times in the video, but how can you say nothing about Monster Hunter World. To me that was THE biggest surprise of this E3. The series having been on Nintendo systems for so long made it an incredible surprise at Sony's conference.
I forgot Insomniac was working on the spiderman game, so I was actually kind of holding out for a new Ratchet and Clank. Instead, I got Metroid Prime 4. And I am so much happier.
I would argue that Sony did the "A Bunch of Trailers w/ An Audience" approach last year as well. Yes, Kojima stepped out, but otherwise it was the same formula. Due to the strength of the content being shown (regardless of the actual release dates), I would say they did an even better job of it last year.

Just because it's not the special edition doesn't mean it's has the same graphics of the original. As noted, this version has motion controls and Amiibo support, something the special edition doesn't have, meaning that's its a completely separate version with many visual upgrades as many eagle eyed fans have noted

I'm actually kind of surprised you liked Sony's conference so much! When my bro and I watched, theirs felt like the weakest to us! It started off fine, but the VR stuff lost our interest since we don't have a particular interest there, and even if we did, there's the price gate to consider. My bro's a big fan of Final Fantasy 15, but the fishing mini-game is his least favorite part. You can imagine how disheartening it was to see an entire game dedicated to that. After the VR stuff, it felt like everything slowed down, and nothing felt all of that impressive. And when they ended on Spider-Man, all either of us could say is "this is just an Arkham game!"
I am glad you liked their presentation. Maybe it was just a difference of whether or not the game content interests the viewer? If that's all it takes to make a difference, maybe they'll have something good for me next time around.

Something to note about Doom VFR, Fallout 4 VR, and Skyrim VR: They are not free updates. You have to pay full price again just to get VR mode. That alone is incredibly stupid since every other game that got a VR mode got it in a free update.

I beg your pardon Arlo, but I have stared at the vanilla Skyrim for well over 1000 hours playing it and modding it and if that Switch version is the vanilla 360 version then I'm the queen of England. The lighting is definitely Special Edition as is the grass density, LOD detail, grass draw distance, and I do believe the texture quality is somewhere in between. Some effects are scaled back like the godrays but that's about it. It's the Special Edition trimmed back.
Nuvendil Anyone who played Skyrim on PC should knows Switch version looks like medium settings or something close to that.
PS3/360 versions looks basically like low settings Skyrim on PC but take in mind, PS3/360 are 2006 systems so expecting them to running a 2011 game in high settings for example was too much.

Spider-Man was actually the game I was most impressed by. It looks fun, and I love how often the environment is used in combat. It kinda reminds me a little bit of the Arkham series, but less bleak and depressing.

I highly suggest looking into it. I started in 2016 and it has become my favorite franchise in capcom history, if not EVER.
At first I had the same opinion as you on Sony Arlo but then I realized based on what many said that this was basically Sony E3 Conference 2016 part 2. 90% of the games shown were what was already shown last year making me realize I was being a bit too generous. Even if they did a great job at keeping talking to a minimum and giving game after game it doesn't change that they were mostly games shown last year. ;0

FYI, Call of Duty uses 3 development teams, so the WWII game has been in development for 3 years, making it almost impossible for it to be a response to Battlefield 1.

I'm super stoked for Crew 2. I've only put 30 hours into the first game, but I've been excited for what a sequel could do. I was hoping for a different map than just the USA again, but adding in boats and planes is good enough for me. Just playing the Crew 1 now and thinking of all the fun stuff I could do if those vehicles were in it. I watched the gameplay Ubisoft uploaded and loved that they seemed to be trying to have more fun with the tracks and that you can switch between land, sea, and air with the press of a button. Crew 1 always felt, to me anyway, like a realistic racing game with some small hints of wanting to be more arcadey (the various car parks scattered around the map to do tricks in and mess around along with the Grand Canyon jump). It's nice to see that they might be trying to lean more arcadey without sacrificing the more "realistic" parts of it.
But Arlo, what about Devolver Digital's conference D:

Ever notice that Playstation and X-Box really seem to have this "where one screws up, the other excels" sort of thing going on? Like when the X-Box One came out, it was basically impossible to share games from consoles, but easy for the playstation . Now this year, Mircrosoft is giving us a lot of backwards compatibility, where as Sony basically told us we were stupid for wanting to play our old games.

I forgot Insomniac was working on the spiderman game, so I was actually kind of holding out for a new Ratchet and Clank. Instead, I got Metroid Prime 4. And I am so much happier.
I would argue that Sony did the "A Bunch of Trailers w/ An Audience" approach last year as well. Yes, Kojima stepped out, but otherwise it was the same formula. Due to the strength of the content being shown (regardless of the actual release dates), I would say they did an even better job of it last year.
