We had this one installed yesterday at our home in Ewa Villages, Hawaii. We love it so far but wonder does it have a rolling code? We want to program our cars homelink soon.
Congrats! Yes it has the dynamic rolling codes and should be good on most 2013 or newer vehicles.
Just got this to work with wifi, you must use 2ghz, wpa2 only, and turn port forwarding on for 8883. Now it prompts me for the password where before it would not.
I love the look of the light. The camera is just something I can’t justify. I haven’t had any porch pirates, but of course WFH the last couple of years. I have a broken opener, so am trying to figure out what to get. I am envious of neighbors with just about silent openers. Is a belt noticeably quieter? Is this one a chain? Is there a monthly fee for the camera?
Hello @yogibearstie. This opener is a belt drive and it’s noticeably quieter than the chain drive openers. There is not a monthly fee for the camera or app.
what model for circuit board
Will this lift a 12' 2"x12' Haas 800 series or CHI 3" or is that too much door for that opener
This probably isn't the opener for you on a door that size. If you don't want to go with a side mount I'd suggest a Sommer 2060 or 2080 depending on weight. You can also check on the Genie 3124 or 4124. The biggest issue with the LiftMaster is that the belt rails aren't long enough. Both genie and Sommer build rails for this height.
@@Aaronoverheaddoors ok thanks I got two separate quotes one for 2 CHI doors and one quote for 2- HAAS 800 series the quote for the CHI had these openers on the quote and the HAAS had Liftmaster T501L5's I would like something with that soft start feature if possible
@@Jonny-wn1fl These ops aren't ideal for commercial use. They do however have the DC motors that will give you the soft start soft close. I think either of the two I sent you will accomplish your goals depending on how many times you plan to open and close it. The 501 is a good commercial op but I believe those are AC and do not have the soft start feature.

Yes. The 85503 has been discontinued.
Well, just to let everyone know Lift Master Elite and Chamberlin cheap 1/2 hp, both uses same motor, same logic board, no difference except look and feel. The only difference between these guys is RAIL and belt. Thats it. if you have doubt you can cross reference part number ....
To me it is marketing things. dont get fooled.
It's a nice product however they did not improve anything with the gear It's still a little bit noisy And you cannot put the 841 lock anymore Most customers don't care for the camera they care for the Product quality
If you are Overhead Door why are you unboxing a liftmaster ?
