@@fishingthepacific3648, no I'm just an early riser, but I can't wait until these winds calm down, I am soooo ready to get back out fishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very good in your sea bro and the your traveling in the ship best the moment and be continuous many fish bis in the your sea so im fry to succes for your channel 😁👍
Nice haul, what size is the pitbull tackle bag? How many hali can you put in it and how well does it hold ice? I saw the bag in person and it looks really nice, can't choose between this or a reliable. Any advice is appreciated.
Only problem I’ve had with it is that the zipper broke on me but I just told pitbull tackle about it and they gave me a new one for free. About the size we have the 60x24, for how many halibut the most we’ve but in it was 9 but I think it could easily take 15 depending on how much ice you have in there and for keeping ice cold it won’t keep it frozen but it definitely slows the time it freezes which is fine for me cause I’ll usually through two 20 pound bags in there the night before and it will be still mostly frozen by the time we’re done with our day
Nice video I just fished on the Pacific "Dawn" last Tuesday outta Berkeley Marina and made a video too. Love catching halibut and eating halibut they are a great fish to catch!
@@fishingthepacific3648 we managed to fish til 4:30 captain Chris was catching anchovies for us to use as we fished it literally came down to the last minnow
No live bait? might consider using bigger white Swim baits like the 7inch big hammer great white or 9 inch offshore angler XPS shad series.. Besides the halibut these swimbaits give you a fairly good chance at hooking a big white Seabass which are more common in the bay these days. A 55lb and 70lb WSB have already been taken this year
I don’t like using swim baits in the bay I just don’t have very much confidence in them but when we go out for ocean halibut I will throw a swim bait usually off the front of the boat with some bait rods in the back because the ocean you can use multiple rods for halibut
@@fishingthepacific3648 Converted to swim baits to keep the shakers off. Price of anchovies at J-N-P climbed to $35 for a scoop of about 20 and we were going through a huge number of shorts. The receivers this year were also closed for repairs .
I’ll probably try it one of these times with the swimbaits it’s just I have a lot of confidence in the bait and I take friends out all the time and they always want to fish bait but if I remember and it’s just me and my dad one of these times I’ll try it
Also where do you target when your using the swimbaits like what areas are you fishing the same areas you would with live bait or are you looking for structure in shallower water because I would definitely like to try this one of these times
So worried about the cameras you making the video look bad quit worrying about the cameras man all you need is one camera on you and fish takes one camera shows the whole back of the boat the fish all three of y'all that look like three fools out there trying to bag a fish man I'm being honest bro but other than that the video is straight what's the difference between a halibut and a flounder
