@@nightshadekelly I had to cram my fingers from both hands under the spinner and pull really hard and it came up slowly and like that it came off. There is no screw holding it on so its just pull up to take it off and push down to put it back on.
Sometimes the sugar gets inside where the heating mechanism happens and apparently I had a lot of hot sugar inside where the heating is at. As a result, it smells like burnt sugar everytime I start the machine.
How do I clean under the heating elements? Some sugar was burnt and it fell down at the bottom. Now everytime I turn on the machine, a fire starts. Please help.
Emmeline equestrian Not on this model. If the sugar dried up around it then I would imagine it would be really hard like rock hard lol I suggest heating it best of luck!
If you’re like me and used it and for the life of anything could not figure out how this insert in the middle comes out let me tell you what I did was I sat on my floor and just kept on pulling in pulling in pulling I use a napkin to protect my fingernails and I tell you what I finally got it out I had given up on it and no joke was sitting on my shelf where the sugar still in it because I was frustrated but now I’m OK lol
Glad I watched. I didn't realize the sugar spinner part came off. So much easier to clean with it off.

I have the same issue because I use my machine in a school function so now it's full of sugar inside near the heater rods

@@ellery9451 I scraped most of the burnt sugar off, and thankfully it's ok now. Its left a black mark there, but at least there's no more fire.

Update : for everyone who got candy stuck on the instead use a straw cleaner !! Works wells but it doesn’t get all of it off it gets most of it
