    My daughter bought one at a second hand store. When I googled it, it looks like they are mainly for sale by people that bought it, probably did it once and sold it.
    My granddaughter and I will try it tonight. Glad I found your video to figure it out.

    I got this a year ago as a Christmas gift. But never got a chance to use it even though it’s really straight forward most videos are 2-8 years old and haven’t helped much or just not straight forward as this I wanted to start using it again on my birthday and then wanted to search a video how to use it then this I found this video thank you so much for showing how to work it!

I realized I made a mistake in my first comment, I’m not sure if it matters since it’s the same brand and they both work with hard candy, but I just wanted to specify that I got the PCM306PK model. I’m pretty sure the only difference is the price and exterior design though

    I got one second hand and it doesn't look like it was ever used or maybe only once. I tried to use it last night and I let it heat up and pour sugar in it and it never produced anything. I tried multiple times rinsing out the spinning part. Do you have any guess on why it's not working?

    I want to get this machine for a birthday party and I want to pre make the cotton candy and put them in little baggies to hand out (about 50 cones)
    Would it be okay if I make the cotton candy (maybe 10 cones at a time) then turn it off to let it cool, wash it and then put it back to use again?

      It's worth a try. The machine doesn't make more than a few cones at a time and then it needs to be cleaned.

    tysm!! I bought and just arrived a few hours ago, Do you recommend this for a online business ?, Ofcourse I wont use it that much to get it rested, But do i need to upgrade?

      This machine is too small to use for larger volume for a business. I would recommend a Vivo or Carnival King at the least for a business usage. Thanks!

    Do we warm it up first for 10 - 20 minutes then turn it off? If we do do we let it cool down or?

      Warm it up for 10-20 mins and then start pouring sugar in it while it is running.

    I bought mine at a yard sale and the clear plastic portion on the top is missing. The company said my model may not have had one. It also did not come with a scoop. Is is a tsp or tbsp? Perhaps you can help with how much should go in this little machine.

    Can you use any candy in the machine or do you have to use the special flavored sugar? Thinking like jolly ranchers or Skittles or something?

    I bought a cute nostalgia one that is on a cart. The cones are much smaller than the ones that you made using the same amount of sugar. Any suggestions?

      Hi there, is it the pink machine? If so, yes, it doesn't seem to output the same as the red machine. I assume it is a heat stability difference, but not positive.

    i got a nostalgia cotton candy machine for christmas and until about a week ago it worked perfectly. now it barely produces any cotton candy and the sugar just gets all clumped up in the little middle heating part. i've deep cleaned it countless times and nothing seems to work. idk what to do :(

      Oh no! Do you know where the machine was purchased from? It sounds like a heating element issue. If you can, I would recommend exchanging it. Do you have the red machine or the pink Nostalgia? That makes a difference as well!

    Where do you get that sugar? I’ve tried several kinds that flop. I’m convinced it’s the sugar. I had one grape flavor that even worked

      I’ve tried hard candy crushed. I’ve tried 6 different kinds. All I get is large blobs of hard candy around the edges of the bowl. I’ve let it heat up 25 minutes and still the same results. Please help

      Sounds like the machine isn't getting hot enough. I would try to exchange with the company for a new one.

    I have the same as yours only blue, yet it’s hardly producing any cotton candy am I doing something wrong? I have it heat up for 20 minutes

      The Nostalgias vary greatly depending on model. Either the heating element isn't getting hot enough, or it needs a cleaning.

      Like the just the center top part? Just pull it out, it detaches from the rest of the center.

      Don’t be scared. It has about an inch long stick like base so just grab the spinner plate by the sides and pull straight up ! Hope this helps 🤗

      I tried that. Didn't work. I may have even bent the extractor head slightly. Finally saw it has a nut at the top of the spindle bolt that must be removed first. Grr.

      It can be really hard to remove, but it is made to come off.

      Mine has a nut at the top of the spindle bolt. I didn't realize this until nearly breaking it trying to follow the steps in this video. :(

      I would watch our maple cotton candy video. You have to dilute the maple sugar with regular sugar. Ratio's can be found in that video. I haven't tried using maple mix in the nostalgia, I imagine it would work fine though.

      @@spunparadise8823 yup also I find it's possible to use a scoop and a half before it overloads and starts shooting sugar. Although between the one and a half scoop the machine should be turned on and off for a second to spin the sugar into the edge of the disk to make room for more. That way it's possible to get big cones with one load

      The hard candy we use is standard stuff at a local grocery store, Jolly Ranchers, Werther's Caramels, hard candy comes in cinnamon, mint, etc, options are endless. Hope that helps.
