I used to have a Scotts mower with that engine and the caster wheels. That one had lockout pins you put in if you wanted the wheels locked. The caster wheels were awesome for mowing around trees and I never had much of a problem going in a straight line with them either.
@@pattayperformance You had to manually take the pins out of you wanted them unlocked. The pins had a key ring on them that fit over the top of the shaft to retain them so they wouldn't fall out you would just push the rings over the shaft to secure them after putting them in the hole.
Awesome job, I actually just picked up the same mower off the road side. Every damn cable is broken and it’s missing the bag and tube 🤦🏻♂️. Should still bring a couple bucks hopefully 👍🏻

That’s awesome! Was the lock out controlled via cable or you had to manually lock the pins and casters?
