This is best cover I ever heard... maybe even deeper than original... amazing... noel and ryan are only ones who knows how to sing this song from heart
Without the no vibrato and angelic voice of Liam Gallagher from the original recording you would not even heard of this song. Ryan and Noel are nerds. They can not reach out.
Yeah Noel himself said that the song is about Limerence over an imaginary friend/lover. If someone was that mentally in the dumps then the song would be much sadder in tone than the original Oasis version. I agree that Ryan nails the depth & meaning more. Just to clarify I'm not saying I don't like the Oasis version because I actually do prefer it.
Ryan does what Ryan wants, cos He CAN.. any style to any song at any given moment.. Music genius that is magically gifted with many.. thanks for sharing your perfect soul flow #ryanadams🔥
Stranded on an island…only one song you can listen to the rest of your life: ..It’s this…..Wow….WOW! Speechless…..my soul forever touched….…live…start to finish…..I can sustain…I’m good. REPEAT…….❤️🎵
it really seems that when u listen to while of it..u travel to some far off world...some force is really being ur Wonderwall..ur guardian..ur protecter.. Awesome !!!
I thought it was "Summer of 69"...since his name closely resembles "Bryan Adams." I heard he will sometimes walk off stage if that song is yelled enough.
i just do. i don't like oasis and the whole 90's "brit pop" thing. and wonder wall is one the most annoying and overplayed of those songs. doesn't help that its one of those songs that you always see bros singing and playing on an acoustic guitar to try to impress girls or whatever haha. or at least it used to be. yeah just basically not my style man
@@dylanbowles4758 Same here, love Oasis as I was 16/17 when they first hit the scene. This is probably my least favourite Oasis song. Saying that I'd still belt it out in a singalong haha
everything about this is awful. the crowd singing along, the guitar feeding back constantly because hes playing too soft, his timing. on his studio version covering this song its better than the original, but most amateur musicians could perform better than this
This is the last song of the set. He's probably tired. You can't prevent people from singing along, specially a well known song in the UK. Most amateurs musicians are in a garage, living with their parents. Not playing at Glastonbury. Enjoy.
Every gig has its own problems -- power, acoustics, compatibility with your rig, distance from stage to audience, street noise, the weather, how hot or cold the inside climate is and so on. Those are issues before you get into touring schedule, fatigue, band dynamics, when you last ate (and what was available to eat), etc.. The amateur runs into these things more than established and signed artists. Most of all, this is your job. Billy Joel has done several interviews where he discusses how much he hates playing Piano Man. Even so, keeping that song in the set is what pays the bills and fills seats. For independent musicians, tour money pays not just the mortgage but studio time to make another record on which to build a tour around. We all have parts of our jobs we hate, but we do them anyway. He's an entertainer, and most folks show up to be entertained, hear their favorite songs, and feel part of something -- otherwise, they'd stay home and listen to the recording that they may or may not have paid for -- you know, like we're doing with RUclips right now. The average ticket after fees and parking and whatnot is around $100 bucks per person. So, there's that. As well, I don't understand your problem with folks singing along. After buying their ticket, you think fans are not going to sing along to their favorite artist because you happen to find that too pedestrian? Don't know where you're from, but he's playing in the UK on this video, a place where folks go out to the pub on this or that night for the sole reason that it's a sing-along night. That's still a thing there. But are you telling me that you never sing along with a song on the radio, your phone, all that? If that's your perspective, why are you even watching the video. Go do something in the complete quiet that befits what you consider your station in life So, you know, point is, read the room. But, all that said, you could be right on the money with your analysis. I'll give you that. And If you ARE right, you won't don't have to be bothered by this again. Adams won't rank high enough to book an A-list venues with their owner's wanting to book the more desirable act so as to fill the majority of seats. Hosting concerts is a business with a thin profit margin if not. He'll be back to the smaller venues with his gear creating a 60 cycle hum as everything from the HVAC and the restaurant size walk in freezer will be pulling power from the same breakers. Damn small business owners! But don't go to that gig either! There might be people who will sing along.
I still remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard this cover. Powerful.
Me too. I was 10 years old and it was on the show ‘the oc’ and I’ve loved it ever since
beautiful...it makes me think back to when things were so possible, so good
Damn dude, that hits harder than it should. Hope things are well for you 6 years on
15+ yrs listening to him sing this and it still hits the same. My favorite cover from him

@@KoopFilmAre you implying that a lack of vibrato sounds better?
It isn’t a cover: I wrote the storyline , Adams arranged/melodized and sold it to Oasis
This is a great version! Still recognizable, but re-imagined. Beautiful.
As for the time and place the original will stand, however Ryan sings and arranges this song with the depth and meaning it deserves.

So much respect for the VOIVOD patch on his back.
And we don't always get happy endings... Sometimes it doesn't always end as badly as you thought.
That is just beautiful. A lyric?
Epic version. Reached right into my soul. I heard this in an episode of the series "Lie to me" and I am so glad I found this.

So stoked to see him in May in Boston!!!!
Amazing how much influence this phrasing has made its way in to NGs version of the song in his adult years.
Goosebumps all over my body! Thanks for that mate!
Just love this version
I love this version. 🎉❤😊
Thanks for being you Ryan!!

Simply Gorgeous!
Ryan Adams is the man!
3:57..."you're my wonderwall". And Maybe, you are going to be the one that saves me"
The way Ryan sings it gives true meaning and feeling. He should wrote that fucking thing
Melhor que o original.
Here after Noel's interview at Radio X in 2021 ;)

I thought it was "Summer of 69"...since his name closely resembles "Bryan Adams." I heard he will sometimes walk off stage if that song is yelled enough.
Alice in chains
This is REALLY a new version of Oasis's song.
whats the song he doesn't want to sing?
I think the oasis bros were very cool with this version.
My god, Ryan was in the pocket during these years.
This is his Jeff Buckley Hallelujah moment.
What song was he not going to play?
Was it 16 Days he said he wouldn’t play at the beginning?
This is how the original version should've been played
Steffen Actually Noel always performs Wonderwall like this.
I'm glad many likable versions exist simultaneously you know its possible to like each equally.
Nah the original blows this out of the water.
No lol the original is better
They are both good. Just different vibes.
What song did she shout out for him to sing?? 🤣
Bellissima versione , molto più malinconica
what song was he never gonna play?
Summer of 69
I dont believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now

Akash Ghosh Noel got his version from Ryan Adams.
i hate this song. better version than the original though

understandable, I love the 90s britpop thing and oasis, but can't stand wonderwall for the same reasons!

u clearly have no sense of authenticity and the beauty of a raw and imperfect performance especially of a song like this. I feel sorry for u
Some people just don’t understand art.
Literally no feedback in this performance.
