I just love my art tool kit. Thanks for making such wonderful products. I also love the guest artists segments. This is quickly becoming my favorite yt channel. 🎨
Thank you! This is wonderful. I'm curious which journal your using. The journals on your website look much smaller. I can't wait to share these for some holiday gifts this year. ❤
Super helpful, I had found myself over filling and appreciate seeing how you do it! Thanks for making great products and being so generous with your expertise.
Hi there! In our experience, we've had luck with a range of brands. That said, not all brands, such as paints with a higher honey content, are suited for travel. For example, M Graham, while beautiful paints, don't set as well as other brands like Daniel Smith or Winsor Newton. We hope that helps! :)@@rachelreilly5350
I love these little pallets! I have a few. I find that I don’t need to label the pans because I know the colors well enough. With the label sheet I paint and laminate for the palette that is sufficient. I love your interview videos and look forward to them. I hope you will continue them for a long time. Thank you for everything! I forgot to mention that I scratched my large silver palette cover somehow. It is scratched pretty badly all over the top. I can’t find my little bags the palettes came in. Can I repurchase those? I need some. Thank you Maria!
It's always fun to hear about different ways artists keep track of their tools! Labeling pans can be especially helpful when you have lots of paints that dry dark all in one palette. I'm not sure about replacing the drawstring bags, but you can always email our Customer Service team and ask!
One thing I've noticed in the few days I've been playing around with my demi palette is that the less colors you have, the more mixing space you need. This is not a linear correlation either. I tried working with a CMYK palette and a 2x4 mixing well, thinking that would be enough. It really isn't. Not for me at least. I should also note that I found this to be extra true when working with a water brush. Now this is all assuming you want to have a palette that you can mix just about any color with. If you like working more directly with your paints without mixing much, this won't be an issue. I'm trying to figure out what the best balance is for the mixing area I have but I think I'm gonna need a split primary + earth colors + viridian. Something like that.
We love to hear about how you're exploring your palette! It's true that the Demi allows for limited mixing space, which is why filling it with 12 mini pans of paint and mixing in the lid is a favorite layout for many. Consider buying a Pack of 2 Small Mixing Pans for an additional well for mixing in your Demi Palette, or filling a Pocket Palette with four Large Mixing Pans and 4 Mini Pans for paint! Enjoy discovering what works best for you!
HI MARIA...NICE to see you on the beach painting LIVE! Can you give us the MODEL NUMBER of your "BROTHER" LABEL MAKER...by any chance...maybe it is still available...sooo the paper from this...does not detract from the magnetism of the pans to the palette magnet?...thanks Janis

We love to hear it! We've had a goal of creating more long-format video content this year so it's wonderful to hear that feedback, thank you!
Helpful video Maria. I have one of each size and they're all great. The demi is so easy to hold while I paint.
Thank you! You can't go wrong with a Demi Palette!
Brilliant idea to actually make a page in your sketchbook to match the palette!

This is the Hahnemühle Landscape Watercolor Book! All supplies are linked in the description :)
Ooh, I need this for my tubes. Thanks for the demo on filling pans!
Absolutely! It helps to have a follow-along sometimes!
Hi! Great video! Very helpful. Love the palette and the color you picked. Looks like a fantastic tool to take with you everywhere.
So glad you enjoyed it! This Demi Palette has already come on a couple of outings to date!

Awe, we're so glad that this helped! Thank you for watching, and for your kind words!
My folio arrives this monday! Can't wait. Are there any watercolor brands that might be too thick for these tiny pans?
Unfair question to you. My bad.

I want it! I wish they were sold in Japan too.
Love seeing how you put your palette together - you're so positive! I'm trying to decide which Art Toolkit Palettes to get...
Let us know if you have any questions! We can help get you started depending on what you're looking for :)
I’m packing for a trip and mine is going with me! One thing I noted was your warm red is Pyrrol, not perylene.😊

I would have thought the label would effect the adhesion on the magnet.
The magnet is strong enough! If you choose to cut paper scraps, use thin paper for that!
I wish you could buy these in UK 😢
