As much as I'd like to be Bright spring, I think I am soft autumn
It's funny cuz for some reason I couldn't tell if I was a bright or muted. I could tell that that was my main feature, but I couldn't tell which one I was. But then I realized I'm muted. I have medium dark brown hair but with like reddish tones. And I guess bright would be the opposite where would be like bright red with medium brown undertones
Same! Ive been dressing like a Bright Spring but Im either dark autumn or soft autumn

i always thought i was a winter but this makes so much sense! i have fair, neutral skin that becomes much warmer in the summer, medium golden brown hair, and grey ish blue eyes. your explanation of fluctuating between warm and cool depending on seasons and greyness levels makes so much sense!
So interesting. I'm a soft Autumn and born in mid September. My mom Is a true winter and born in January. Just made that connection when you were comparing soft Autums and September. I know you can be born any month and be any season but I thought that was interesting :)
I’m also born in mid September and I think I might be soft summer. But where I live in South Africa, September is spring 😄

My hair has red undertones but I have blue-gray eyes with a lot of yellow. I’ve always thought that meant I was summer. The eye portion helped me so much! Thank you!!

Same, I always thought I was a summer but gold is my metal. I tried the summer colors but it made me too gray. Not enhancing at all.
Ive always worn true to deep winter/deep autumn colors and always wondered why my hair and skin looked so gray and sickly
Thanks a lot for the explanation. I am still a bit confused but leaning towards soft autumn color type. But there are a few things that don't fit this type:
1. Facial coloring and hair: I definitely have greyish blue eyes but a yellow greenish thin line around irises. My skin is pale greige in winter, it's very hard to get tan but I don't burn much and if I manage to get a bit tan, I look amazing. My hair is rather neutral brown but nature elements (sun, wind, etc.) add chestnut-golden tone, which then clashes with my skin and neutral brown eyebrows, especially when my skin is greige pale. My lips are a bit coldish dusty rose but when I wear warmer dusty rose lipstick, it makes me look more radiant.
2. Too light pastels or too dark colors without brown or grey overlay, don't suit me. Soft autumn camel colors don't look good either.
3. Light gold suits me best. If it is more yellow gold than I need to add pears. Silver washes me out though.
Overall, a pretty challenging case since I seem to be a walking contradiction :D Need to save some money to get a personal stylist advice and be frustrated in the meantime :D
Omg! I never thought somebody could describe me better! I am a chamaleon and my skin does get warmer in the summer and gold looks better on me and in winter i look gray, I've always envied people that are always blushed naturally like my husband, always pink or peach, I am mostly sallow, slightly yellow gray, I've really struggled to accept that grayness i dont like it! It looks dead, I tend to add blush and pink lips so that I feel alive,

I believe I am a soft autumn but love black and cannot wear yellow or orange. Everything else is me. I can get away with either gold or silver, but rose gold is my favorite.
Maybe more of a soft coral tone would suit you?
The only thing that fits me in jewelry is actually warm rosegold (during winter, I didn't watch my summer skin tone yet), neither silver nor gold work for me.
Do you have a delicate light appearance ?

I have similar eye/hair/skin colour to Angelina Jolie (when she has warm brown hair). A lot of people say she is Soft Summer, but seems she is more Soft Autumn? I think she suits peachy or dusty rose tones more than true pink tones.

I'm having such a hard time deciding if I'm soft autumn or soft summer. My hair and eyes are definitely soft autumn (golden brown hair, green hazel eyes), but my skin is neutral-cool with pink undertones and silver fits my skin best.
I am the exact opposite: ashy dark blonde hair, blue grey eyes (with a bit if yellow), but my skin is definitely yellow and (rose) gold looks better than silver. All the online tools give me a summer season due to the cool eyes and hair, but I was analysed in person and due to my skin being so warm the cool colours look off on me, so Soft Autumn it is. If I were to apply this to your case, I'd say go with what your skin is telling you!

I have tought i was summer or spring. My hair is ashy medium blonde but has some gold in it in sunlight, my eyes are blue grey with but muted. So i tought i was summer and cool. But! My skin is yellow and i tan easily. I tried a cool foundation and it looked pink on me. I look best in gold jewlery. Cool muted colors washes me out. I look good in sage green. So i think i found my season. It’s not sprin nor summer, but muted autumn.
I've always described my skin as yellow!

I have amber eyes, warm medium skin and dark brown hair. Also I look good on gold jewelry. I know I'm a autumn but I'm not sure if it is soft or other type. Can you please help me figure it out?
You could be Autumn "'in-transition" type , which means you could jump from soft to dark autumn depending on how your appearance changed through the year. You have to observe how your skin color , hair color changes, darkens, deepens, etc. usually there 2 main types (during summer/winter). So in summer if you tan a little, you could try Soft Autumn. During winter you skin might go whiter and hair darker...so Dark Autumn could potentially fit you (sometimes even palettes that are on the contrary on the seasonal color chart).

I have a light/medium skin tone, neutral, sometimes thinking I look a little green, I find slightly peach concealer looks lovely on my under eye, muted gold jewellery and beige, sage green clothing look best on me, black high neck tops can make me look ill, I’m thinking I’m soft autumn?

Im a soft autumn typed by merriam style... Warning... she told me to avoid yellow gold and that I suit ROSE GOLD the most!! She calls it warm and delicate so im assuming that means soft autumn

The things I’d do to be a winter. But I’m a light summer 😢 or at least I think so. My undertone is cool but overtone is yellow. My eyes are light silver colour so they can get ice blue or dreamy ocean blue depending on surroundings. Even light green if I have loaaads of tan. Hair is ashy blonde-7.10 (.10stands ofr ash) ittan easily but easily lose it too 🥴 have a few freckles on my face but because of rosacea and cystic acne they aren’t that visible 🤣you touch me and I get red. I wear only yellow gold but warm tones except for some warm pale light beige, some light salmon or pinky coral/orange that isn’t autumn type of orange don’t suit me and they’re only during summer. Greyed tones don’t look good on me, taupe is one of my worst colours and light baby pink makes me glow. Pastel blue, pink and lavender make my eyes pop, also champagne and light sand type of beige (my nude) Dark colours are a no: only black or dark blue but they both require more makeup and no tan. I thought at first in soft because I al overall soft but then I saw that all summers are soft. Then saw some soft celebs and they look more muted and magnetic- idc how to explain it but the tones work differently. Then I saw true summer and felt like they’re so cool and can handle so well dark blue, dark grey etc and I look just not ok with these colours and my eyes then just look dusty and no one sees them. And then I saw Margot Robbie- she seems to he similar to me even though I’m cooler. Complexion wise though. I can only dream of looking like her 🤣

Kindly help me with this.. my skin's got a tint of yellow and it exaggerates even more when I'm around my friends since one of them is neutral and the other one is cool..i researched upon my undertone and it turns out that i'm cool olive?my veins are half blue and half green and very few are purple.. Probably I'm not so-aware about the seasons..I have been told true winter in one of the apps and autumn in the other one and I'm really confused
My skin could be yellow but at the same time turns greyish or (muted always) which makes me look paler and dull..but its true that you said about the chameleon thing that light autumn ppl have..silver sometime looks good on me too but yeah deep down I do feel gold's better..I have brownish hair with gold highlights and a med to light brown eye colour..in winters with darker clothes my face is in high contrast and my hair tends to look black while in the summer it's kinda opposite..
And yeah my skin's strangely pale with yellow tint..tried many foundations none of them looked good..made me orange af so yeah
