So interesting- thank you! I was told that I am a soft Autumn and I hated the colors because they were so soft and muted. I feel like they look terrible on me. The colors that you show are so much better. I feel like I could definitely wear that palette.

Good morning! Thanks for your feedback. I find that if a color feels off to you, it probably is. We usually know intuitively which colors resonate with us; it's just a matter of tweaking them until we identify the correct color palette for ourselves. Welcome to the community! 🌞

Hi, you mostly pay attention to eye and hair colour when typing a person while others pay more attention to skin alone. This is confusing. I struggle to figure out if I am warm or cool.

      Hi! Excellent question🌞
Paying attention solely to a client's skin tone will, in my humble opinion, produce an incorrect color assessment, which is a waste of time and investment for my client. A trained and experienced color analyst (CA) will look at the overall presentation of the client to get a more refined result. Eyes, hair, and skin color are assessed and considered first, along with other nuanced visual characteristics such as freckles (if any), baby hairs along the hairline, beauty marks, and photos of the client in their most natural state.
For example, let's say you are a cool winter but live in a warm climate and have a year-round tan. If I only assess your skin coloring, I might type you as an autumn because your coloring now appears warmer than it would naturally, which would be incorrect. There is a methodical, some might even say scientific, process to determining a client's signature color palette 🎨
Perhaps I’ll do a video answering questions in the future. Welcome to the community!

Avocado, Aubergine. You may want to check how words are spelled prior to featuring them on your posts. Otherwise excellent.

Hi! Thanks for the heads-up on the typo. Given that the rest of the slides were spelled correctly, I'm not losing sleep over it. Thanks for your feedback, and glad you enjoy the content otherwise.
