      For lighter colour choices in summer I love turquoise , aqua , peach , tan , muted orange, rust , olive green , muted lime green, cream, nude neutral tones, and muted neutral pink tones (difficult to find but great when you do) very light grey seems to work fine ,for me anyway, I kind of like looking more golden , so I think it looks nice on golden warm olive skin, brick red , light khaki, chartreuse is beautiful for summer especially if you have some green/yellow pigments to your eyes 😍

    It has taken me a while to realize I am a soft Autumn. I have always known I was in the autumn category but after some trial and error, I feel soft autumn is most flattering. It is only a big deal for me because I want to streamline my wardrobe. Knowing my season has helped me stop buying colors that are just wrong. I was actually wearing the right makeup all along, but some of my color choices were just too bright or stark (like pure white and black).

    I thought it was more about chroma. Different people can both have warm and deep coloring and be considered an autumn , however have different degrees of brightness . I love deep earthy tones on my medium sallow skin, soft grey green eyes. But, I look horrible in very bright light colors. I guess there can be literally millions of people that land in the same category but have their own different nuances. It pays to experiment. Thank you for the video. 😊

    I love that you picked this topic! I bet that pics of soft or deep types in bright colours always confuse people about their own colour palette. 😃
    When I save new pins of known light spring celebrities to enhance the colour perception for my colour type sometimes I was surprised how bright some colours are. But although I don´t like limiting the palette too much I began to feel and see where the colours start to take over. Pins are still saved for comparison. 😄
    I love what you´re doing, tough lady! ☺💪❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍
    I´m a little Light Spring lady from Germany who started painting in her palette >> No brands for me in my country, maybe too small target group (still don´t know any other and I´m 42 meanwhile).

    Khaki is not warm or rich and is a summer season colour not autumn, only soft autumn could work with khaki as their sisters with summer. 'm dark autumn and I usually look awful in pastels, pink and bright colours . I think your right that it depends on your colouring. I'm very golden/green olive ,no red or pink or bronzy tones to my skin. These days I apply tanner but still find this true for me 🤷‍♀️

      I thought olive skin is cool toned, so you may not be in the autumn category.

    • @Chelsea-ju1ex
      @Chelsea-ju1ex Год назад +8

      @@lanarivera7521 I think olive can lean cool or warm. Idk. I’m olive but I seem warmer.
      From my understanding Olive skin has both neutral and warm undertones along with green, an undertone that is considered unique to olive skin only.
      And this is because olive is blue (cool) but has a yellow (warm) overlay which makes the green.
      So depending on the coloring of the person they could really suit shades from cool, warm and neutral.

    • @lemmings6516
      @lemmings6516 Год назад +1

      Im also dark autumn and pale olive with a visible yellowness to my skin. The only pastels I can wear in summer is lilac.

    • @Carrie-sgda
      @Carrie-sgda 11 месяцев назад +2

      @@lanarivera7521 no , olive is a neutral, So, you have warm, neutral and cool but if you are olive it is an added tone on top. For instance, you can be warm olive or cool olive. If you are olive you will look good in neutral colours as well as green is neutral. If you are olive you can look greenish or greyish and this can be enhanced in some colours which mean they are not your colours. For instance, black, lilac and grey make me look grey. You can also look yellow in some colours if you have a yellow overtone . For instance I look yellow in most blues which means that is not the colour I should wear. I have always known I am an autumn because I look my best in warm, rich , muted colours such as chocolate brown , rust , oxblood and olive green . I know that I am a Dark autumn which is a neutral warm with high contrast.

    • @Carrie-sgda
      @Carrie-sgda Год назад +1

      @@lemmings6516 lilac makes me look grey. However, oddly I do look good in a dusky pink , the right dusky pink isn't easy to get hold of though. I think skin tones are more nuanced than colour seasonal analysis. I do think dark autumns can be more neutral toned and the more neutral tone you are the more cooler colours you can take on, although all dark autumns should lean warm. Some Dark autumns are more warm toned. In summer I lean on medium chocolate brown , rust , olive green, beige , nude , cream , tan, ivory, gold, copper, rose gold , teal and dusky pink . I'm obsessed with how good dark autumn greens look on me , definitely my colour ,they do say autumns look best in green which rings true for me.

I was leaning toward autum after realizing the foundation i most prefer has yellow undertones, but your color charts just sealed the deal! I've been wanting to try light blue nail polish and had grabbed three different shades at the store - the one that looked the best is on the dark autumn chart while the others were on the summer charts.
