Hi, I got your website thru Dug Dale and he placed you on the toplist of his top video tutorials. In my opinion, Dug is right! I've dreaming of this kind of slider. Do you have any idea where can I buy the servo and the servo controller? Thanks in advance... Rene from the Caribbean
Very nice and easy to do. I want to buy the parts. Can i buy a continuous servo motor in Hitec Servos? Which one is a replacement for the Parallax Futaba S148? Than you.
i have a fotodiox 24'' slider already, im just looking for a cheap motorized solution. where can i get the gears, circuit, switches, etc. and how much will it cost? can you make a video on how to assembly and attach these components to a non-motorized slider?
Let's say you walked away from the rig while it was moving, and the slider reached the end of the rails. Is there enough "give" in the drive system that the servo won't seize and burn up until I'm there to turn it off?
im not quite interested in the slider, its cheap and versitile, but you can't mount it on a single tripod unless you diy some sort of support. however, i am interested in that top handle you got in your camera there. can you send me a link on where you got it?
Hello, I am interested in only the handful engine, the truck already have, I would like to have the prices, I followed the link but I have not found anything on the engine, do me a favor, put me links of one group of motor speed potentiometer. I write from Italy, a greeting, Matthias. Thank you very much.
The trolley with the end clamps is nearly $200! Even with my novice machining abilities, could replicate that trolley setup for 30 bucks, that is really ridiculous if those prices are correct..
I bought all these parts complete... they are for sale, and pretty cheap. Comment back to this or send me a message here on YT... thanks, and thanks to Emm for the parts list!
Cool build! Very professional. We just made a video on our channel showing you how to make one for only $7 though. You should check it out. You might like it.
Can you post assembling video? You have a very interesting concept.

For DIY stuff check out Servo City.
How long would it take to travel from one side of your 4 foot pole to the other on the slowest setting?
Hello Nice project, motor and servo control model specification have and where I can get thanks.
Very nice system, but one question: do you hear the noise of the motor during filming?
great idea where is the engine and the driver?

How does the motor handle non horizontal movements? Let´s say 45 degrees. Is it strong enough to pull the camera+lens up the slide?

You can add a 'limit switch' at the end of each side if you needed this feature.
What's the name of the monitor you are using on your rig ? Where can I find it ?
That's from a Skier rig. You can find that information on my website.
nice job...simple and straightforward.thanks.
Could you please share the parts list ? Thanks !!
Where can you purchase a motor like that ?
Where they sell scale model cars and planes and stuff ??
What is the handle system you're using on your rig there? I've been looking for something just like that for ages!
Hey how long does it take to reach the other side on the slowest setting?
Is it possible to power the servo motor using a more reliable power source rather than AAA batteries?
is this going to work on konova slider aswell?
You think it is possible use a timer for motor and make timelapse during many hours? Thanks
manlio rossi Anything is possible. Check out DynamicPerception, they offer timed controllers.
@krazyeknine57 On the blog there's a konova motorized version setup in same way.
@nomiSimple from experience with similarly sized servos, I imagine there would be no noticeable jitter at all :)
How did you attach the Pulley Wheel to the Continuous Rotation Servo?

What, No Track and Pan? .. why would you not make the rails with carbon fibre tubing? It's really cheap nowadays.
Very nice stuff...
Jacques

@slyzxx1 Yeah RUclips is weird about that. But you'll find it on the site.

servos are not too expensive to replace IF that happens but the switch will work
@dokgold All of this information is on my blog with links to specific parts and such. Just search for Juicedlink Slider, thanks.

Very nice.
There is another motorized track dolly video I just recently posted. You might want to take a look at that one as well.
Thank you.....very good
this is amazing
It seems that the slowest speed might be too fast for time lapse.
