  • Many people have asked us what happened to Sportsman's Journal, as it was nowhere to be found online our any streaming channels. Well, we've got our hands on a bunch of episodes from good friend, cameraman, and editor, Kevin Tierney, and happy to say Sportsman's Journal will now be on RUclips. We did 81 TV shows around the world catching fish from Blue Marlin to Bonefish. DISCLAIMER: These shows were shot in the 90's and display some improper fish handling techniques that are very frowned upon today. I wish I knew back then what I know now! Also, some of the shows have static and bad quality parts and pieces. It is what it is!
In this episode, my good friend, Capt. Bob Branham and I head out into Biscayne Bay in search of some Permit and Bonefish. Enjoy!

I grew up fishing and guiding in Biscayne Bay. I gave it up after Hurricane Andrew to pursue my contracting business. Bob is the best and Andy makes it look so easy. Thanks for sharing

Man, this must have been back when the bone fish were huge and the world made sense. The only thing with multi-color hair were the flies.

This was one of my favorite episodes. It was such a great time to be on the bay. As well, your comments about having something that you are passionate about really hit home with me. I too have tried to impress this in my children. Jimbos, Branham, Ball, Krowka...what great memories.

A classic film to say the least. It is sad to see what has happened to Biscayne Bay. A treasure that can not be bought.

Pretty awesome stuff right there Andy! Unreal how the average bone fish was 8 lbs now a 5 pounder is considered huge.

You know this video is old.....Biscayne bay is polluted heavily, fish life is non-existent. They even have a TV show about how bad the bay is now!"DONT TRASH OUR TREASURE "It is sad to see this, and see what we have now.....people just don't respect nature!!
