Same here. Local to the smoky mountains but the first brook trout I ever caught was in Montana and was totally stoked till I found out from the local fly shop guys that they're invasive up there and when they catch them they shoot them with shotguns😅 wish I was joking....

Great vlog, again! really appreciate the trash/treasure at 26min. My local trip on the Arkansas in Pueblo, Co (10/20) I was tired and thirsty at noon. Nothing much but dinks. I was ready to quit and walk back to my car and what do I see was a really muddy Coors light standing up on the bank. First check was if it was full and no leaks. Then the expiration was in a month. Didn't even wash it, then had a couple sips. Went to the last hole to fish and see the last hole to fish, and BOOM, a 22" cutbow! I will save that empty can!

Then unsettled weather in Summer and Autumn, just wouldn’t stop raining! A very frustrating season all in all. If you’re planning on coming across the pond have a look at the River Gacka in Croatia. It’s a Chalkstream and is a lot lot cheaper to fish compared to the Chalk streams in England.
