Bar none. The best fly fishing channel on RUclips right now. Great cinematography, narration and just a nice guy.
Appreciate you ❤️
The guy talking about Bull trout and giving them space and respect is exactly how I feel about the brookies in the smoky mountains
Same here. Local to the smoky mountains but the first brook trout I ever caught was in Montana and was totally stoked till I found out from the local fly shop guys that they're invasive up there and when they catch them they shoot them with shotguns😅 wish I was joking....
@skizzledorph yea their brookies are like our rainbows. But that's a bit much.....
Hard to believe that brook trout are an invasive species when they can no longer hold their own in what was once their native habitat 😢
Yea, he only wants to “wail” on em when the camera is out to make sure it’s documented for the entire world to see.. that makes total sense.
@@evgrin1507 what are you talking about?
The ending of this video is so insane for me. I immediately recognized those mountains and that road. Welcome to my home waters. I've been a subscriber for a long time and have often thought how cool it would be for you to experience this area. I'm living away from home for the year, super homesick, and seeing how much you enjoyed it brought a big smile to my face - thanks. Hope to see you back out there!
I know how you feel. His first videos were in my home waters when he was in college. I remember recognizing some very remote, very small streams that mostly only locals new
I know the feeling exempt for me it was the 128 hours bull trout video. It's a little over an hour from me and the creek that they drive along at the beginning is actually one of my favorite dry fly rivers
Your vids excel because of all of the hard to pull off shots, establishing views, audio subtelties and details. You’re crushing it. Thanks for putting in the work so the rest of us can enjoy!
Glad you enjoy Alberta and hope your coming back next season, so much more potential! Great videos as usual! Keep the good work!
So much more to explore!
First time stumbling across your guys content. Looks phenomenal, I love the production as well as the reminder of how precious these fish are and how long they've been around and how we have to keep it that way!
This is another enjoyable video the fish caught are beautiful the water color amazing and the attention to nature marine life could not be emphasized any clearer than what you have thank you, Peace.
Awesomeness is what I say...great job and really enjoying watching your flixs.
So deadly boys! What a trip! You managed to hit a ton of my favorite water, and my favorite fly shop!
Love the content and video! Easily one of the best fly fishing channels! Very inspiring, I just purchased my first fly setup last week!
A big hello from Europe! And a massive thank you for the content! The quality in all aspects (especially the scenery) is breathtaking! New to the channel and loving it! Thank you
Literally one of the best brews you can get!! Super underrated. Love your videos as always!
Go Canada! Great people and great outdoors!
Best part of this video is the cheers with the Tim Horton's coffee and the spey cast at the very end. Just kiddin', great video on some familiar waters. 👍
Epic. and yep the Canadians are so polite and helpful...
Awesome video! Alberta fly fisherman here and love the blue lines here, definitely blessed to be able to fish epic water bodies 30 minutes from my house! Let me know if you guys are coming up to southern alberta and I can show you around the waters I fish.
You made it Scotty!!!! Miss seeing you hanging around Due South or around town (Boone) in general. Extremely proud of you I've watched you since the beginning
Keep working that Spey cast. It’s a wee bit of a learning curve.
Tanx for the epic content.
Cheers!
Some emotional cinematic stuff you’re producing there ❤
I’m so glad you guys were able to make it to alberta and do some cutty fishing, I live in Alberta and go out to those same mountain streams as much as I can it’s the best kind of fishing in my opinion, even if you get skunked you still have an amazing day it’s just so beautiful out there. You guys should come hit up the bow river around Calgary it’s got huge browns and rainbows if you haven’t heard of it! (You probably have)
Crazy to see a pool you've fished on here. Local Albertan here. Recognized exactly where you were camped to
Great vlog, again! really appreciate the trash/treasure at 26min. My local trip on the Arkansas in Pueblo, Co (10/20) I was tired and thirsty at noon. Nothing much but dinks. I was ready to quit and walk back to my car and what do I see was a really muddy Coors light standing up on the bank. First check was if it was full and no leaks. Then the expiration was in a month. Didn't even wash it, then had a couple sips. Went to the last hole to fish and see the last hole to fish, and BOOM, a 22" cutbow! I will save that empty can!
Me watching this..... Can I get to Alberta before full winter sets in
What a beautiful spot and love hearing more dialog on how precious the native fish like Bullies are
You at my favorite RUclipsr and I love your RUclips videos
I very much enjoyed this film. Well done.
Good vid. You and Phelps are an incredible team.
Appreciate it! Love working with my boy.
Hello from another subscriber in the middle of nowhere Alberta!
Yooo! We miss Canada!
Love this! Thanks for information about Bull Trout. Respect the beauty of such an amazing fish. Raddest channel out there and just enjoy the vibes of every video!
This video was the juice. But really one of my favorites. So sick.
As always, boys, it was a pleasure to watch! Great video!
Canada is well know for their wild river beers 😋
Thanks for the inspiration to keep travelling/casting.
The end, where you apologize for that Spey cast. I’ve just been waiting to see a Spey rod on the channel, so, thanks for bringing out the big kid sticks eh.
Amazing job as always boys
Great video, guys! Bull trout are on the bucket list.
Will, your mother and I went to Sewanee together! She’s a wonderful woman. Does she fish much with you? I’ve seen some pics she’s posted on FB. She’s lucky to have a guide like you!
Keep it up, gentlemen…tight lines!
Sandy MacLean
Another banger both behind the lense and on the rods🔥🔥🔥👍
Great video beautiful streams. Nice fish of several species.
Another amazing video! I love not only the fishing but also the filmmaking. The editing and camera angles add so much depth to the story. Would you mind posting what type of camera gear you used? I think it would be super beneficial for all the aspiring outdoor filmmakers inspired by your videos (including myself!)
Thanks! We actually just posted a camera gear rundown from this trip on our instagram. Check it out!
@@WildFlyProductions Thank you!
Awesome film fellow angler. Really enjoyed it. Glad you had a successful trip to Canada. I am anxiously waiting to see how your trip to Alaska went. Tight lines.
Scotty, I watch your videos on my 80" TV at home. I get my alerts on my phone.
Hopefully I get credit for 2 views each time.😂
I've canceled my regular cable and have gone internet content only. I look forward to and wait patiencely for each and every video you put out.
Really can't wait for the next Alaska video. That last one was awesome.
Keep up the collaborations with other RUclips guys like Trent and of course the original short bus Boys.
Your videos have this 65 year old acting like I'm 40 again.
Be well buddy.
great film!
Amazing video dude! Absolutely loved it ❤
Alberta is so freaking beautiful man. One day, one day.
Come on over! - Albertan
This makes me miss home soooo much. 🇨🇦
What more could a person want from life? Even if you are the richest person in the world, even if you are a famous person, you cannot experience these adventures and this pleasure. I salute you and respect you. Turkey
Stunning:)
Awesome bull trout and cuttie action! Great work as always. God’s creation was made for us to enjoy! Love your videos. Always makes me want to fish, snowboard, or try to surf again.
Sweet video! 👏🙌🔥❤️
lmao no one judges your spey casts at first. way to give it a try!
Bullys love a swung fly. I live in the mecha of bulls. We mouse them, and swing them. Amazing fish and one of my favorite targets.
I’ve been waiting to long for this vid😬
Great show. What a beautiful place. Nice fish. Do you like the Simms backpack?
Love the stuff you and Will have gotten up to. Next year if you find yourself in the southwest let’s get out mouse fishing for some fun fishing.
That would be rad!
@@WildFlyProductionslet me know, I used to guide and now just fish man! Got some spots for good fish in the nught
Amazing as usual, come to Scotland for highland trout!!
Well done!
You guys should come up to cache valley for a rock climbing/skiing/fishing trip in the spring! We know how to have a good time up here in Logan. @WildFlyProductions
Love cache valley!
The ole no look larry bull trout was the best!
That river goes crazy
Love the videos you need to come down to Cape Town South Africa 🇿🇦 trout fishing is amazing here
No doubt! Itching to get out there.
And whilst in the country hit up the high altitude rivers of the Drakensberg.
Great video! What net were you guys using? I have the fishpond boat net, but I find it’s too big to fit in my pack while walk and wading. So I’m looking for a new net to use for that.
Just thought i would let you know but in canada no need to worry about public vs private land. In canada you can fish it all! no one is allowed to stop you as long as it is "uncultivated land" (forested) and you are fishing you can trespass anywhere!
Hi you live my dream - super video thank you 🌲💙
Scottie if I wore those Jesus sandals fishing I'd be bleedin" in no time. Great trip, great video!
Just got a pair of waders. How do you put your net on yours? Thanks.
Hey! Love the vids! What’s the specs on the Spey gear for this film?
That’s a question for Will. Check out his videos from the trip & his recent Spey video. He dives into details there.
Living the life I dream to live
Should have come farther north for salmon runs and unreal rainbow fishing on the stellako
That last westlope was a tanker!
Enter Alberta the best place on earth. The legendary trout hwy. You guys are seriously missing out on some epicness u just gotta come hook up with yours truly further up north.
This series was way too short
Great video Scotty
Really cool
Question
How and what app do you use for your video making
Man when bulls are on they are on!
We're all pretty cool folk in Alberta. 😉
Homie out here wearing flip flops hahahaha
are u using Rio Predator line ? First fish in video?
Can you do a video about using onx for fishing? I downloaded it but ended up switching to trout routes since I couldn’t really figure out how to get onx to work for fishing. It seemed way more appropriate for hunting.
Man what a good 2 part vid. Can’t wait to see what you do next. My wife wants to know if you and Adam/hobo Steve broke up?
Thanks! And I’m still friends with the boys we’re just working on separate projects right now. Plus, Adam had a kid this year & Steves been mega busy with his full-time job back in AL. Hopefully a trip in the future!
@@WildFlyProductions right on. Keep up the great vids. Your filmography is incredible. I was up in that area in CA this summer. Would have been so stoked to run into you. Caught a monster bull a couple hrs north of where you and Phelps were fishing
Really loving this series...well all of your stuff really. What rod were you using for the bull trout? It looks like it casts really well.
Sage Payload 8 wt
@@WildFlyProductions awesome thanks! Keep up the great work. Cheers!
Will there be any more short bus trips with the guys?
Hopefully! It’s been hard to line everyone’s schedules up but we’d like to in the future.
Not gonna lie. I spend way too much time on that alberta river. Next time, you should go more north.
Those are home waters for me.
You’re gonna end up living in van down by the river 😂
When you coming to England Scotty boy?!
Hopefully next year 🤞🏻
@@WildFlyProductions Hoping for better weather next season, we’ve had record low salmon runs and then the Trout fishing has been poor due ridiculous heat in late April and May. Then unsettled weather in Summer and Autumn, just wouldn’t stop raining! A very frustrating season all in all. If you’re planning on coming across the pond have a look at the River Gacka in Croatia. It’s a Chalkstream and is a lot lot cheaper to fish compared to the Chalk streams in England.
Come on guys! Don't be the guys who say "let's go". Your better than that.
What river/creeks did you hit in Alberta?
He never tells. Plus half the fun of fishing is researching and exploring yourself.
@@brett9382
I’m from Alberta and spent some time down South this past summer. Lots of great water down there. His footage didn’t look familiar to me but I have some ideas as to which it could be.

I agree that one of the best parts of fishing is exploring as much of this beautiful province as I can get my boots on.
Love the videos but why u barely show the fish i know a fast release but instead of just the head show the whole fish
Bro how cold are your feet!? 😂😂😂
Emily McDaniel
You said Dude! 28 times…
I counted
Dude...
Nice counting, dude! 😊
I'm surprised you caught fish on the bull with dirty water
