@@pawep2966 I think in my next playthrough I'll start messing with the base NPCs more. In this playthrough I have Lae'zel as a Barbarian Fighter, which makes her so powerful. But I like the idea of a Shadowheart Monk or an Astarion Bard 😁
Lol I thought this what I was supposed to do on my first pt based on what Shadowheart said about the trial! The only thing I did different was use Open Wounds spell
I tackled this problem in balanced, but I assure you it is just as effective if not less so in tactical above, I started by taking my entire party into the room and stumbling into the encounter, dying immediately. they never saw it coming.
I think it was the second time I did this encounter on balanced and after I sneaked around to the backside a copy yeeted one of the party into the abyss. Avoid that!
Got relatively the same idea on my second playthrough (first time wanted to win it fair to see what game has prepared for me). Also, if you want something closer to a "fair" fight (or you just failed a perception check for an ambush and have to actually fight) you can just bring any summons along (e.g. I ungrouped elementals from Gale and a dryad from Halsin).
1. I'm surprised Shart didn't miss 2. You forgot the ring that drops on the floor 3. I can never bring myself to do this because I like proving my superior intellect over the AI, but thanks anyway
Yes a good point about the ring. I have done this encounter various ways in the past, I just wanted to record this tactic specifically. Also... I call it "misguided bolt" because Shart always misses 🤣🤣
I think this isn't possible anymore? Passed the perception check but saw all my party ready for an ambus, killed my Shadowheart clone but the orb didn't drop and had to kill everyone lol
Did you disband from your entire party before engaging with the trial the first time? If it's worked then the only person waiting for you should be Shadowheart
As far as I know, you can do the trials without her (you need to pass some high checks), but you won't get the end weapon without her. I've not tried it though, this is just what I've heard
Unfortunately doesn't work so well when Shadowheart is a kick-ass open hand monk
Oh dear! 😲
She is so strong as Monk.

Great cheese Mo! 😎
do you have to do this with Shadowheart?

@@ThatBritishMo thank you

this is the easiest fight of the game though
Yeah I found it relatively simple... But I thought to myself "there must be an even easier way". So I came up with this.
