  • Hi Friends! This is part 3 of my process in creating a textured journal cover. I use some basic stitching and create tiny little gathers to add some dimension to my flowers.
    I hope you enjoy this craft with me video and are inspired to make some textured flowers too!
    All my Journal Maker Kits have sold out, but please check back, as I will be adding more Maker Kits to my Etsy Shop. Etsy Shop: www.etsy.com/s...

    Thank you again for introducing this technique! I love the multiple layers on the white flower. I agree that working on several journals and projects at the same time gives you fresh eyes when you return to the project.

      @@annemcdonald5602 you are so welcome! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! The texture makes it so pretty. 🥰 I have been thinking a lot about my creative process alot lately and it's been helpful to see what works for me. 💗

    I ironed the floral fabric onto a lightweight interfacing to give it some structure because I wanted to save the pretty pink felt to use inside my journal. This is going to be a fun project! 😀

    I haven’t begun mine. I purchased and received your kit last week. I’ve gathered my floss/threads just gotta start!

      I'm so glad it got there ok! No worries about beginning right away. It's great to get everything organized and have them ready. I also created a playlist so you can always follow along when you are ready. 💞💞🤗

    Replay : question on the embroidery thread, how many strands do you use to sew with?

      @RaindropLila7  2 месяца назад +1

      I usually use 3 strands for the petals. Sometimes I'll use more the whole embroidery thread if I want the stitching to stand out more.
